"University Books did not help me one bit! I ordered a book on the 22nd of May and got a confirmation e-mail but didnt hear anything for another week and a half. I e-mailed their 'customer service' department and got an automatic reply e-mail saying they would get back to me within 24-48 hours. Two weeks have gone by and I had heard nothing so I called their customer service department and nobody is ever there to pick up the phone. All the extensions go to the same number and they wont ever call you back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY."

"An absolutely awful company. I ordered one medical textbook through them, because they were the only company I could find that offered to ship to the Caribbean. The order was placed on May 13th annd my money was taken, but the book was never shipped. I waited for over 3 weeks and called repeatedly. The phone line on the website provides the option to reach several different departments but they all lead to the same extension (Barbara Kelsey). She was almost never available. Emailing the company proved just as frustrating. On the off-chance I was able to get through to someone, I would be told that it was going to ship on the Wednesday or Thursday of that day. I was promised that it would ship that week 4 times. It never shipped. I was told that the expected date of arrival was May 24th, and I'm still waiting on June 3rd. I am now in the process of cancelling the order.
Just a terrible, terrible company. I would strongly suggest avoiding ordering with them. "
"This is the WORST online bookstore I have ever dealt with. I ordered about 2/3 of my nursing books through this website because they were a little cheaper than amazon. I ordered the books on the 18th, and while all of the other books I ordered through amazon arrived in a timely manner, I had to call and demand to know the status of my order after waiting 11 days for the books to arrive. Their "saver" shipping just means that they can be as lazy as they want to be with your order. Then, on the 31st, they finally called to tell me that 5/6 of my books were not in stock, and they did not know when they would receive these books in stock. The only thing they could tell me is that they would ship them out to me within 3-5 days of THEM getting the books in stock. I have never been so upset with an online bookstore. Also, the extensions that they offer only go to 2-3 people total... one time when I called, I got through to voice mail after calling customer service.
I had to pay an addition $65 when I finally cancelled my order (because I needed next day delivery from Amazon) But at least I know that Amazon will deliver my book on time for my classes to start!"
