I bought a LaCie power adapter from Unity about six months ago and if failed today, which is not normal for these products. I called and talked to Ray Mahany about my issue. Even though the item was out of warranty, he too thought it odd that this item would have such an issue and offered to ask his manager if there was anything they could do for me. After a few moments he was back and he told me that his manager agreed to offer me a replacement as long I were to cover the shipping. I really appreciate Ray and Unity for standing behind the products they sell. They have a continuing customer in me.

Product is as advertised and shipping was on schedule. Customer service is great. These are good people. From California? Go figure!

Ordered a refurbished Seagate drive from Unity but turn out to be DOA. After realizing it I submitted an online RMA request and returned the drive. Received refund notice about a week a later.  
Overall it's been great service and quick response from customer service. Other than slow ground shipment of product, seems like a good online retailer. Will shop again.

I ordered for a NDAS device and was initially skeptical, but i thought i'd take a chance since they are locally based.  
 
Good customer service, timely (actually much faster than expected) delivery.. and of course good rates. I would surely do business with them again.

This company is a wonderful business to deal with! My sales guy Ray, was very helpful in the transaction process. He is very professional and knowledgeable.  
 
I would recommend this company to anyone who wishes to have a excellent product delivered to them with excellent service and communication!  
 
I received my order in a timely fashion and am very happy with the harddrive i purchased. I plan on doing more business with them in the future.

Great online store! I placed my first order about a month ago, it a Western Digital WD10EACS hard drive that went into external USB enclosure. I picked up the Western Digital HD Media Player from Newegg and used the WD10EACS from Unityelectronics to store the movies. I would have bought the drive at Newegg but Unity had it for 20 dollars less for the same brand new drive with 3 years warranty. The hard drive and the Media Player arrived within 3 days and everything works beatifully together!

I ordered a Western Digital Scorpio 250GB drive for my laptop. Unity had the best price and very reasonable shipping. The drive shipped immediately and arrived well packaged and I'm up and running on the new drive as I type this.

Ordered a 1gb Lexar CompactFlash card for $8.95 + $4.99 shipping (pricewatch) on 8/15/07. Got it in the mail 5 business days later. Order was confirmed and shipped extremely fast. Very happy with the transaction, will buy here again.

I bought a box of Seagate ST3146854LC drives. Price and shipping were great, I couldnt find 15k 146gig Seagates anywhere close to these prices! 2 Hours after I placed my order I received UPS tracking information. 2 days after I placed my order I received my drives. All 20 of them work just fine.

I make a few buys from Unity Electronics each year.  
It is a excellent reseller. Refurbished products are uneven. In my experience, they work well but they look used. Insofar as looks go, I do not find Unity to be a reliable reseller of refurbished computer systems.  
 
I discovered, however, that refurbished items Unity auctions on eBay tend to be class A refurbished looking as well as class A working order. I also pay significantly less for a mobile computing system from Unity that I buy from an eBay auction.  
 
This puzzled me until, I considered the difference between selling to buyers from a online store and selling from eBay, where buyers get to leave feedback. Too bad buyers do not demand that online resellers have an independent feedback program link on their sites!  
 
eBay is marketing PayPal across the Internet. They should try marketing their feedback system as well!

In 2 years I placed 3 orders with Unity Electronics and have not been dissapointed. I upgraded my failing hard drive on an old HP Pavilion. Replaced a 40gig with a 120gig. Later I upgraded my burner 4x HP to 16x Plextor. Both refurbished, both still working. More recently I bought a 500gig IDE drive to backup videos. Still no overcharges, no surprises, no problems. Will definitely shop again. TYVM
