"My story matches EXACTLY with the previous poster. Today I called my bank and spoke with their fraud protection department. They reversed the charge instantly when I told them the name of the business. Apparently "bestbargainpc.com" and "us-depot.com" have a long history of dishonesty. Please don't buy from them. And if you're in Las Vegas please contact local authorities if you're a victim of their fraud. Here is the POS resellers latest known location...

"I ordered on 4/5/2005 and they promptly charged my credit card the next day and sent me a tracking number which when used came up as invalid. The email also said the order would be shipped within 24 hours. I tried emailing them multiple times at addresses found at their own website and recieved NO response and it is now 10 days later (and the tracking number is still showing up as invalid). I also tried calling them at numbers found at their website and they were ALWAYS busy. Another interesting thing is the number listed for them on my credit card statement had been disconnected, imagine that. So now it is 10 days later and I have read MANY other bad reports about them (wish I had checked them out first before I ordered), so I have contacted my credit card company to get a charge back. I don't do service with deceptive companies like www.BESTBARGAINPC.com. I WARN YOU ALL TO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM!"
"Have ordered MANY 120GB sata drives to send to customers. Started getting emails back saying bad drives. Started checking warranties on drives still coming in. Noticed the bag is stickered shut, not something western digital does. Checked warrantyy and western digital says 6 months. NEW SATA DRIVES ARE 3 YEAR WARRANTY! Then noticed the drive label is covered over by a second label! You can see that it is a second label because of words underneath and the label is not perfectly over the original one! I AM CHARGEING BACK EVERY ORDER FROM THEM! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! LOOK FOR an anti site for bestbargainpc and us-depot, they are the same company!"
"Please keep in mind as you read this that the total purchase price (including shipping) was only $3. Placed a web order (it is a yahoo.store site) for NERO Express v6.0 OEM (CD only). A few days later, received the order (via USPS first class), except it was only an empty envelope (included a packing slip, but no CD). Called them the next day, they said sorry, they would reship out another CD; fair enough. A couple weeks later (nothing came), I called them (again long distance, my own phone expense), talked to a "Chris" who said it was probably in the mail or she would check into it. I never did receive the item, and I don't want to spend any more on toll calls to them."
"Ordered from them in their alter-ego of bestbargainpc. An initial email about stock availability went unanswered, but in a day or so I received a shipping confirmation. Oddly, the shipping was listed as UPS ground, but the tracking was FedEx, and only showed transmission of the shipping data to FedEx and an arrival date. The arrival date came and went, and when I checked on my order status it was listed as "cancelled". I emailed them for an explanation as to how an order that has supposedly shipped can be cancelled. No response. I emailed a request to confirm cancellation of the order and credit my purchase, which was also ignored (the CC was naturally charged at the time of the initial order). I finally had the CC company dispute and reverse the charges. Do not use these people, and beware of alternate names (i.e. bestbargainpc)for the same company. That alone says something about their integrity and motives."

"I purchased a Sapphire x800 xt platinum from this company on June 10th 2004. All seemed to be going well until I opened the package to find a x800 pro instead(a much cheap version of what I ordered). I immedieataly called usdepot and was told "ahh you got a pro but order xt platinum". I said yeah...that what I just told you! They said they would send the correct one right out. I call back in a few days and ask where is it and whats the tracking number they said now its on back order and it will ship next week. Next week comes I call them and they said still on back order will be the following week. The next week comes and I am told we are shipping it today and they even gave me a tracking number. After 2 days the tracking number still doesnt work. I call them back and I am told they will NEVER be getting the xt in stock and I should just return the card with a RMA label they will ship me. I said 2 days ago you give me a tracking number and tell me its shipping and now yoru telling me your never even getting it in stock! She said sorry just ship it back with a label Ill send you and we will credit you right back. Finally I get an rma return label after another week goes by I ship the unit back, 3 weeks since then and I still havent been credited back. Phone just does a fast busy when I call like its disconnected. Also no response to emails. Anyone else having this problem please contact me at baxxtor@operamail.com to file charges with local authorities or setup a class action lawsuit or something. THEY LIE OVER AND OVER----FRAUD THEY MUST BE SHUT DOWN!!"
"Worst return policy ever. Ordered a Logitech keyboard/mouse combo because price was best by about $5. Got a scratched up, clearly used part that didn't work. Sent it back. I had to pay shipping and I had to scramble because if they don't have it back in 10 days, you're outta luck. A month later (not the 3 days claimed on the web site) I get a second part. Less scratches, but also DOA. Have to pay shipping again and since I don't want a third dead part which I would also have to pay to ship back, I have to pay 15% restock fee. TOTAL BS!! I did get a good DVD-RW and DVD from them at a real good price, but the risk associated with a bad part is too high to justify saving a couple of bucks. Go with the second cheapest. You are better off in the long run. Widh I'd done more research."
"This is the WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS besides Onvia. I ordered a Western Digital 120GB Hard Disk Drive on May 29th 2004 and I received a package a few weeks later. The shipping was ok but this is where the mediocre service ends. I open the box...and a 40GB HITACHI HDD is in place of a Western Digital 120GB!!! The invoice even says Western Digital 120GB!!! I was so irate that I e-mailed them and they told me they would send me an RMA and a return slip. This was over a month ago and I have not heard from them since. I've e-mailed them 3 or 4 times. I just e-mailed them today threatening them that I would complain to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) if they wouldn't give me what I wanted. STAY AWAY FROM www.US-DEPOT.COM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Sent product that looked like (x800 pro-400.00)what I ordered (x800 XT-500.00) but wasn't what I ordered. Called them day I received it and still fighting with them in attempt to resolve their ?error?, I think it was an attempt to defraud me that goes on to this day. Save yourself the trouble - go elsewhere, I will never use us-depot again. "
"Ordered a hard drive. 6/8: Credit card charged 6/9: E-mail sent from US-Depot.com with a fedex tracking number 6/10: Fedex tracking number says they have received electronic confirmation. 6/16: Called Fedex, they say that it means they haven't yet picked up/received a packge yet. 6/16: Called US-Depot. Gentlemen there says they will ship it out that day. 6/17: Fedex tracking number status is unchanged. Called US-Depot. Lady there says tracking number is incorrect, and she will research it and e-mail me back later that day. 6/18: No e-mail, no call back, no update on fedex tracking number. Called again. Lady said order was lost, will send another one, and will e-mail me new tracking number. 6/22: No e-mail. Called in to cancel order, gentlemen there said it was on its way, and gave me the tracking number. Package was to be delivered that day. Received package that night.
It took alot of effort to get the order through, for me. One should not have to call a retailer 5 times just to make sure they ship it. I have ordered from 5 other places, and none of them have required me to go to these lengths to just make sure they ship the order.
I would not recommend this place, but if you have tons of time on your hands, I suppose you could hound them repeatedly."

"Let me start by stating that this company, well calling them a company is a dis-service to honest companies, but the are by far the worst experience I have ever had purchasing online. I ordered MS Office XP on 4/29 and received XP O/S on 5/6. Email RMA dept on 5/6 about prob., they respond on 5/10 and say they will do "x ship". Call them on 5/11 to find out when and what "x ship" is....rep says it shipped that day. 5/15 I purchase retail and call them back on 5/17 (still haven't received) and state I am returning order. No problem they say....BULL SH$T!!! More calls..Now (6/10), the only credit I have seen is for the mouse that was included in the orig.order. If you are considering doing business with this company..DON'T!!! Disregard any satisfied rating because it is most likely bogus. This company should take the US out of its name because that is not how an AMERICAN company does business and expects to survive...see you in the welfare line!"
"I ordered an OEM DVD Burner which was packed inside a box with little else for protection. Of course it did not work due to rattling around inside the shipping box and I had to return it for a replacement. It took a total of 4 weeks for my replacement to arrive back to me from the time I shipped it back to them. Considering I was forced to pay extra for their Dealer SWAP Warranty I think this was a bit on the long side. Look at their long RMA procedure before you purchase and you will find that 3 to 4 weeks on RMA stuff is the probably the norm. They did send me a non-OEM in return which leads me to believe they were waiting for OEM’s to come back in stock. I little communication from their end if there was an issue would have been nice. Prices are great, but only if the item arrives in good shape will you be happy."
"I ordered a computer case from US-Depot. It arrived as advertised. They took a long time (several days) to ship the case, but when it finally shipped, they sent me a tracking number. Unfortunately, it was the wrong tracking number, as the Fed Ex web site said that the package with that number had been delivered and signed for (the person who signed for it wasn't anyone I'd ever heard of), and the package didn't arrive that day. However, it arrived the next day.
As far as I'm concerned, US-Depot's customer service doesn't exist. I e-mailed them to ask several questions (about the case, about shipping, and asking for a correct tracking number after I discovered that they send me an incorrect one). The only one they replied to was the question about the case, and even then, all they did was paste in the text from the case's description on their web site.
Although I am happy with my purchase now that it has arrived, I don't think I will ever deal with US-Depot again, and I don't recommend that others do so, either."
