The goods we received had damaged part. Made a complaint and they rejected out claim based on the date of claim exceeded their store policy - one day to claim damage. This seems to violate consumer law in Pennsylvania.

Great experience will recommend them to anyone best customer service I have ever had. I purchased a Blue-Ray Plasma TV combo pack back in June of 2009, I submitted my rebate form and all required materials on time and in the proper format to the manufacturer then waited a slightly longer time then was necessary to hear back because I was sent away because of my job for an extended period of time. When I got home I called the manufacturer and asked what had happened and they refused to give me the rebate because they claimed that too much time had passed and gave me zero direction as to how to get the rebate honored. They said that they had responded with a letter to my home address saying I was missing information when in fact I had taken pictures of the items asked for on the rebate form and in the original rebate form mailed to them in case this exact thing happened, however they responded to the wrong address and I never received the letter so I couldnt respond and closed the rebate. In response to this answer from the manufacturer I called US-Appliance and asked them if there was anything they could do on their end, their response was to contact their in house representative and take care of it. After a bunch of emails back and forth and a lot of personal care given to rectify the situation and many calls from US-Appliance to me asking for more information and just keeping me well informed as to the status of the rebate they were finally able to get the $200 rebate processed! There is no way any other big box store could even come close to this kind of service they even got the manufacturer to break some of their rules because I was no longer in possession of the Blue-Ray player and was unable to get them needed information from the unit! They really had my back every step of the way and really bent over backwards to solve this problem for me! I really have no idea how anyone could ever rate this company negatively, I will be doing all of my consumer electronics shopping through them from now on!

This was probably the worse online experience I ever had! I placed an order for a 52" TV on Dec 14th, 2009. It took them 3 days to tell me that there was a problem with my credit card (incorrect billing address) and another day to "process" the order once the problem was fixed. However, by then the item went out of stock already and I would have to wait until "early January" to have it ship out. I sent an email voicing my disappointment in the speed their service, no response at all. I then sent out the same email again. I was told in a very rude tone that they did in fact sent out an email on Dec. 17th stating that the TV was out of stock, however, my order wasn't fully processed until Dec 18th so I didn't get the email and they made it sound like it was my fault for not getting the email.
Anyway, I kept the order anyway because I was waiting for another deal to show up before I cancel it. Another deal did show up on Dec. 31st from TigerDirect for the same TV at the same price. I promptly ordered from TigerDirect. So I then called US-Appliance to cancel my order and was told "no problem, you'll get a cancellation email soon". Never did get that cancellation email, however, I did get an email saying that my item was shipped on Monday Jan. 4th, 2010. So called them again, once again was told by a different CSR that order will be canceled and item returns to warehouse and cancellation email will be sent soon. It's now Jan. 7th and no email still, called again, was told by Marcal that supervisor will cancel the order promptly and will send out email. It's now Jan. 11th and still no email or anything. Called once again and was told the order was cancelled on Jan. 7th already. Well where is my cancellation email then? CSR said check spam box, checked, nothing! Ok will send again she said. Till this day (Jan. 18th 2010) still no cancellation email and no refund into credit card account!! If I don't get a refund by tomorrow( Jan 19th, 2010), I will just dispute the charges with my credit card company. Throughout this whole ordeal and calling the CSR multiple times, not only was no apologies offered, they sound very rude and unprofessional too!! Tigerdirect on the other hand, no problem at all!! Ordered on Dec. 31st, 2009, received TV Jan. 5th, 2010!!!
So in summary:
--Placed order on Dec. 14th.
--ordered completely processed Dec. 18th.
--was told a week later that item was out of stock and wont ship out until "early January"
--Canceled order on Dec. 31st and asked for cancellation email, was told will be sent out shortly.
--Item shipped out Jan. 4th, 2010. Called and have it fixed. Was told will be taken care of and cancellation email will be sent out again!
--Jan. 7th, still no email! Called again and was told by CSR that supervisor will handle it and email will be sent out shortly.
--Jan 11th, still no email or any other communication from US-Appliance. Called and was informed order has been canceled on Jan. 7th, yet no refund or email still. Email address was verified and correct. It has to be because I received Invoice from them before.
--Jan 18th, still no email or refund. If no refund by Jan. 19th, 2010, will disputed charges with credit card company.
Overall, took 4 calls to CSR with no result!!! CSRs were rude and sound very unprofessional! Will file complaint with Better Business Bureau too.
Follow up:: So I decided to call them for the 5th time and was told that they cannot refund my money until the item is returned to their warehouse!! WTF??!! It was never suppose to shipped out in the first place. I demanded to speak to a manager (Stephanie was her name) and she said "credit will be return w/in 1-3 business days". Don't know if I should believe or not. They even have records that I have called 4-5 times already, so I guess they all just chose to ignore it!
Worse online shopping experience ever and WOULD NOT recommend to anybody!!
PS Finally received a cancellation email on Jan. 19th after the 5th call.

Whilst the pricing at this business is good, the order and shipping process leaves a lot to be desired and is clearly not in line with those of other online merchants. I placed my order for a BluRay Player on January 6, 2010, received an acknowledgment on the same day telling me that the order was being processed. On January 7 I received an email stating that "The above transaction was declined with the error message that the bill to address you provided on the order does not match the billing address they have on file for the credit card". I responded on the same day confirming that the address I provided was indeed the correct address as taken from my statement. On that same day I received another message from them stating "We were not able to verify your address through VISA and contacted the issuing bank of your card ending in xxx in an attempt to verify the billing address.
Unfortunately xxx Credit Union will not provide verification without the cardholder on the phone. Please contact Order Processing so that we may do a conference call with your credit union to verify the billing address."
I called US Appliance on January 8 and they arranged for a conference call with my Card issuer who confirmed the address I had provided previously. I asked the card issuer - with the representative from US Appliance on the line - why they had held up this transaction since I have had my card with them for over 20 years and they didn't know what I was talking about since they apparently did not do anything to hold this order up.
So, it appears to me that US Appliance has some sort of process in place attempting to verify whether or not the card is legit. Whilst I do appreciate their concern, clearly this process is inefficient and antiquated. US Appliance on the same day confirmed my order by email and I received an email on January 11 advising me that the actual shipment had been made. However, apparently their shipment method is also not in line with today's competitive environment as it was shipped by FedexSmart Post which means that Fedex delivers to the Postal Service which then in turn delivers to me. My estimated delivery date is January 19 - quite some time for such a simple transaction.
As I said, I like their pricing but all of this hassle will make me reconsider doing business with them in future.

US Appliance seems to be a great store. While I can't speak to their service and prices for applicants, they also sell small electronics.
In my case they had the best price anywhere on a Canon point and shoot camera that I was purchasing. I needed two for gifts and put my order in.
US-Appliance.com uses Yahoo Merchant Services to handle their online orders so be aware of that when placing your order. This can add time to order processing. It seemed like it did in my case.
All was well when the cameras arrived however they used FedEx "Express Post" delivery service. This is a slow method of delivery and not what I expected (it is however outlined if you read all the details of their shipping policy - rather lengthy -).
I can recommend this store for your electronics needs however be aware that small electronics use slower than average shipping. If you aren't in a hurry, no problem. If you are, phone in your order and opt for a higher cost express delivery (possibly offsetting a lower initial cost).
Their communication and order handling, while maybe slower than average, was excellent. Their customer service department actually answers the phone (even during this busy Christmas season) and they were polite and easy to deal with when I had a billing address problem.
Overall I would rate them a 4.5 on a 5 point scale (or a 9 on a 10 point scale).

This is the first time that I have ever written a review about an online retailer, but they deserve it!!
The quality of service, knowledge of products, and communications with the sales rep were excellent.
Fast shipping!!
I would definitely purchase from this store again.

I felt I was cheated by this reseller. Ordered a LG HDTV at nice price from US Appliance on Nov 1 and the website said the hdtv should be sent within 5-10 business days. Two weeks later, got an email saying that it will be delayed to late Nov due to large demand. OK, I am fine with that since I can at least watch the tv for Chrismas. However, got an email this afternoon saying that they cannot ship the item I ordered and provided alternative product with far lower quality/features but with the simialr price!! I am upset by US Appliance because:
1. I doubt they didn't have the product at the first place. They just used it as a bait and tried to sell the crapy alternative product.
2. They should let us know earlier if they cannot fullfill their promise then I can shop at other places in stead of waiting for 3 weeks.
From the internet forum, a lot of people had the same experience.

WORST online buying experience ever!!!!
bought a TV they showed in stock, they DIDN'T have it when I called to get a status. Was told it would be recived and shipped on Nov 6. Called on Nov 6 and was told that no, that is not the case and they have NO idea when I would receive the TV. I cancelled!!!!
Buy from them if you like getting the run around about in- stock and shipping..

Excellent vendor. Best price on a Panasonic 46" G15 with a Blu Ray DVD included. Shipping took a week and the shipper made an appointment and showed up on time. Even carried the box into the house for a small tip. What a contrast from Ecom Electronics that hassled me for useless accessories and warranty and then told me item was on indefinite back order when I refused extras.

Be careful with US-appliance. I recently bought Samsung UN46B8000 from them and then two things went wrong. (1) Less than 30 days they had a better deal in that they were offering a free Blu-ray player and they refused to match their own price even though their site says they match others prices, weird hunh? (2) Today I got an email from Bing that US-appliance has invalidated my purchase for Bing cashback, nice US-Appliance!
Free shipping from US-Appliance takes 10-12 days which cuts into their 30 day low price matching duration.... They don't appear to a fraud operation, but get very close to it.
Buyer beware...

I could not have been more pleased with every-thing involving my purchase from US Appliance from the time I ordered until it was gently placed in my kitchen. Everyone I encountered was very eager to please and, of course, I love the microwave.

I don't understand the bad reviews. I bought a Samsung 46" LCD TV, saving almost a hundred off the competitiors & over $140 because of NO TAX.
T.V. showed up earlier than expected, and I was able to schedule a weekend delivery (no missed work!)
EVERY time I have called them, the phone only rings 1-2 times. I am talking to a human being RIGHT AWAY. That is nice!
TV was too big for my room & it does not work well with Xbox 360 (240Hz technology is HORRIBLE for gaming).
Called up and the girl on the phone didn't "get it" why I thought they were selling a defective TV, (not their fault, just Samsung's!)..
The girl, instead of getting pissed, forwarded me to their tech guy, Clint. Clint may be their tech guy, but this guy has major customer service chops. He has taken care of me, and is working with me to get the best deal out of this whole situation. I am going to buy a vacuum and a couple other thing from US Appliance just because of Clint.
If you have a problem with US Appliance?... Maybe you have problems with everyone else in the world too.

I'm very pleased with US Appliance, they have great prices! I'm waiting to receive my order. They called yesterday and was going to deliver and had to make it for today. I hope they come today, they said in between 5pm and 6pm this evening. I hope they do come today. Thank you
