"Great site, with many choices and good prices on cards. However, their shipping and handling is terrible. I have personally ordered 4 things from them and out of the four times they have lost or delayed 3 of the shipments. One order was two Yugioh cards and it took 20 days to receive, that is just crazy. They are polite and offer to refund my money but the fact they mess up so much is disheartening and frustrating. I would look elsewhere if you want to be sure to get your items and in a timely manner. "
"DO NOT choose their 99cent shipping option. I live in North Carolina (Troll and Toad are located in Kentucky, only 600-something miles away) and after almost four weeks, I still hadn't received my package. During that period, I communicated with their support, which was ultimately unpleasant. He seemed fully automated, and completely unhelpful. All he kept saying was that you have to wait 22 days (from the day I mentioned this problem, not the day I ordered the stuff on) to get a refund for a lost package. Not only that, but he also felt the need to keep reminding me that after Troll and Toad ship an item, it's in the hand of the mail carrier and they're now responsible for it. So, basically, he was telling me I had to wait 22 days, just for him to then blame the post office and get away with not giving me a refund. I wasn't going to stand for that, therefore I opened up a PayPal case against Troll and Toad in order to get a refund for my items that still hadn't arrived. It had almost been a month, and my cards still weren't delivered to me from a state that could be considered diagonally bordering to my own. Anyway, the PayPal case resulted in my favor. I got my refund, but then guess what? Troll and Toad banned me. Yes, BANNED me. They were mad that they couldn't pull their whole "wait 22 days, then let us blame the post office" routine. How do I know I'm banned, you ask? Well, I go to Troll and Toad (and my computer remembers my name and password) and I try to log in and it says my password (which has never been changed) no longer works. Next, I click the option that says to send me my password to my registered email. Here's the funny part. It says my username is not a registered user. They removed me from their user-base, simply because I got a refund for all of my time they wasted. I warn you now, NEVER use Troll and Toad. Don't believe the reviews where people claim they have good customer support. They certainly do not. They are incredibly shady and untrustworthy. They ship slow, and charge a lot for faster shipping methods. They take days to even ship your order. Do not give them your money, as you will not get a refund without a fight. If not for PayPal, I wouldn't have gotten one, myself. Plus, seeing as they banned me, I do not even know my order number. I can't even provide it anymore, if not for their emails I saved. That is the only way I am even able to provide it for you now. I have emails and screenshots to prove everything I just said, too."
"Good communication, but by their own customer service account they have grown too large to effectively handle situations that arise with online order fullfillment. They expect you as the customer to hound them and stay on top of their inability to handle the volume of orders they recieve every day. I had a pre-order that was never delivered on, was given the run around and finally had it cancelled. It would have just sat there for months not being fullfilled except for my going back and forth with them. Very sad they cannot figure out how to have a smooth problem resolution except to say "sorry" and "be patient"."
"My last order from them was 2 weeks ago and I haven't received it. Repeated e-mails to their customer service team to inquire about it are met with completely dead air. I no longer get ship notifications or any kind of correspondence from them about anything, I checked my spam filter and there is nothing there. I doubt I will ever order from them again."
"I recently bought a 40pack bundle from them, and each pack had the LOWEST value rares in them from each set of MTG. It's clear the shop uses "box mapping." For those of you that don't know about box mapping, most booster boxes in MTG can be "mapped," which means, a person can open a few boosters, and automatically determine where in the box the "money rares" are. Then, they'll sell the boosters with the other rares (often $0.25 rares, mind you). Out of 40 packs, the highest value rare was $3. It's easy to determine, from this, that this company uses box mapping, scams their customers, and therefore should not be used. Use starcity.com instead."

"Very pleased with my experience. I recently bought a game that was 8 years out of print. Description downplayed product so I thought I was going to get a slightly used/abused box, but the game was in great condition with all parts included and in great condition. Store had repacked and reshrinkwrapped the box (and was labeled as such with a signed card in the box indicating that it was in tact) so it arrived looking like new. Shipping was immediate and well packed."

"For Christmas I purchased a product from Troll and Toad which arrived quickly but didn't work. I contacted Customer Care via email and worked with Cassie. She was great! I did not expect such personal service but she was exceptional. She personally checked the replacement product (that I also received very quickly) to make sure it worked before shipping it to me. I expected a hassle, especially during the holiday rush, but Cassie was extremely professional and very courteous.
