"There have been some interesting reviews out there and I figured I should share my story. I purchased a Panasonic FZ200 and I initially saw the listing on Amazon and then I ventured out to their own site. There was one other cheaper site, but I didn't trust it, TriState looked better, so I went for it. The next day, I received a phone call and I thought, oh no, this is just like the other site and reviews I had read. The guy on the other end was very helpful and kindly asked if I needed anything else, I didn't really, but the 16GB sd card was tempting, it was $20 and I know I could get it cheaper from somewhere else, but I didn't want to risk anything happening to my order and I did need an sd card and I'm not sure if I would have had time to order from somewhere else. So I purchased the sd card and he said I would receive an email about the shipment that night. I didn't receive and email that night, or the next day. Reviewers of the other company I looked at mentioned receiving packages before knowing it was shipped, so I figured I would wait. Later that night, I received a notification email with a tracking number. I looked it up and it was halfway here! I think due to my location (KY), it got revised to arrive earlier, so I had my camera and sd card within a few days from ordering! I'm not sure about others' experience, but my package arrived and everything seems to look fine and I've already taken some really good pictures. Looks like the camera box was opened for testing or something and they already put a date and time on there. When they put it back in the box, it could have been a bit more secure, but it did arrive safely, so no real complaints. Thank you TriState"

"I placed the order for a replacement lens for my camera at 9am last Tuesday, at 11am I received a call from Tri State verifying my camera type and was told it would be shipped that day and I received it that Friday via regular UPS. Could not have asked for better service than that"

"Order #2455444 was placed on a Friday and I requested a 2-day delivery. I expected deliver on Tuesday or Wednesday depending on when the order was processed. No email ever arrived (checked all mailboxes) confirming order being placed, nor was there an email regarding shipping. When the lens did not arrive any day last week I checked credit card statement. No charges were on the card. Clearly, the order was not processed or shipped and there was no communication from the seller with explanation. The request for a review was the first communication I received regarding my transaction. Update 5-12: Yesterday, I received a call from Mike from TriState Camera. He stated he had just been made aware of "my bank not approving the transaction." I told him I thought it was odd considering I used that MC that day and all weekend long without any problems and have over $9000 of available credit on that account. I also found it interesting that I was contacted 9 days after placing the order, coincidentally, only after posting my review above. I was also confused as to why an online payment service would not decline a transaction immediately. While I have no experience in retail, I can not imagine it takes 9 days for a bank to notify a merchant there is a problem with a transaction. He then twice asked me to remove my negative feedback. While I appreciate Mike taking the time to call me on a Sunday, I was still skeptical of his explanation. So, I called Bank of America this morning. They have no record in their system of any attempt by TriState Camera to process a transaction. "
