TopMic.com had the correct Laptop AC Adapter for my Sager Laptop Model # D870P \/ NP8790. The charger was only $10 more than the bad one was from Amazon. The adapter works fine and doesn't even get very warm from use. I love the charger I purchased- every other charger made the laptop overheat and was not the proper voltage\/wattage, and this charger is all in one piece from the box converter to the laptop charging port. It is way smaller, easier to carry- no more luggin\u0027 around- and you can feel the difference in quality with this charger than with other more expensive (yet cheap) laptop chargers. Don\u0027t get the manufacturer one- if you lose the small piece that connects to the charger and the laptop, you\u0027re almost \u0022screwed\u0022 into buying a new one. This baby is just two pieces. The problem with the other chargers was the charger was inadequate for the laptop- it fit but it was not the right voltage. Having the wrong voltage messes up a computer with time. The other chargers had a small third piece of a round do-hickey that if not taken care of extremely well, would easily bend into mayhem and cause your laptop to not charge properly. This laptop charger has it all one piece from the box converter to the laptop- it hooks straight up and is designed that it is impossible to bend EASILY. My laptop does not heat over anymore (it\u0027s now the proper voltage) and it is a lot lighter than the other chargers, is considerably cheaper, and best of all- has a lifetime warranty!! What more could you ask for? On top of that- you get free shipping. This is the Rolls Royce of laptop charger stores!!!! I will be buying for future purposes and am referring to all my laptop-bearing friends. If a pet chews up one\u0027s charger, just go to Topmic, they got you covered!
