I ordered a REFURBISHED Garmin StreetPilot c320 and after 4 days of trying to get a signal, I returned it stating that it never worked. My refund did not include the shipping fee so I called and they said that they would send the $6.95. 10 mins later a rep called me on my cell phone and said they they dont refund shipping if "I just changed my mind." I told her that equip was defective as stated on the return authorization and she said hold on a minute then came back and said that she would send the refund. It is april 29 and still no refund and no communications from them. By the way, I ordered another system on the same day that i requested a return authorization and paid shipping for that item also. I will not use this company again. it is not the cheapest but obviously lies.

Completely satisfied with Tiger GPS! I ordered a Garmin Nuvi 760 from them on Tuesday, 1/20/09, just after Noon. I received a confirmation that the unit shipped that afternoon. It arrived in my PO Box on Thursday, 1/22/09. Item was as advertised, works well, and was priced competitively with other vendors. I would definitely shop with them again.

Summary: I had an excellent purchasing experience with TigerGPS, in December, 2008.
Detail: I ordered my Garmin Nuvi 760 in the middle of the night on a Saturday (Dec. 13). On Monday, Dec. 15, the first business day after I placed my order, I got an e-mail saying that it had been shipped already. Delivery was promised for a week later, which is today, Dec. 22. It did arrive today, as promised (in spite of the near-blizzard conditions we're having - - thank you, UPS!). The 760 is obviously brand-new, as advertised, in the Garmin factory box, with all of the plastic bags factory sealed, etc.
To tell the truth, I had NOT done my homework before ordering from TigerGPS. I had not seen this RESELLERRATINGS website, for instance. I stumbled on it a couple of days ago, and frankly, had I seen it before I placed my order, I probably would NOT have ordered from TigerGPS, because there are lots more negative reviews here than positive ones, which is why I'm posting this review: If you look at the dates on all the reviews, as I have done, it appears that all the more recent reviews are positive, and all the negative reviews are in the past, many of them quite a long time ago, like several years.
So maybe TigerGPS had problems in the past, and they've gotten their act together. As I said, if I had read this website BEFORE my order, I probably would not have ordered from them, but as it stands, my experience with them was 100% positive. I'm a happy camper.

At first i got angry because they said they had it in stock (Garmin Nuvi 260w), and when I called to confirm my order they did not, I cancelled that order. Then I made a second order because C.S. Cindy promissed me they have a new truck coming in with it, and the order would be here on 12/17/2008, and she was right. she kept her promisse and I got the device on time before holidays. In spite of my first experience, I am satisfied with their service and their very good price, and over all with Cindy, who was very honest and helpful.

Tiger GPS ran a special on the Garmin nuvi 755T for $299.99, significantly less than anyone on the Internet. I called and ordered one, was told they were out of stock, and they'd be shipping them in about a week. I received my unit a few days ago, as they promised, and highly recommend Tiger GPS.

TigerGPS advertises guaranteed minimum price. You must click on a link and then provide the competitors price. I've done this twice, but TigerGPS just fails to reply. They do have an on-line chat available, however, when I notified them of the issue, they said there was nothing they could do. Bottom line - deceptive advertising.

I believe TigerGps are SCAMMERS! They do not update their website. Ordered an item that was showing in stock but later I was sent an email that product is not available. My cc was charged even though their site says "no charge to credit cards until items ship"....customer service had no clue when item would be available although the web site shows in stock to this date??? If you are an online retailer, KEEP YOUR WEBSITE UPDATED PLEASE!!! This review was modified by its author, letmeno, on

What a pleasure it was to buy from these people. Good prices, (Not the lowest) good customer service. Straight answers. No bait and switch.
Extremely fast delivery. New, sealed product.
I wish they carried cameras so I could buy more from them. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
My Garmin 660 GPS is beautiful and it works well.
There should be more dealer like this one.
Than you again.

Company web site advertises same day shipping, if the order is placed before 2 pm, and that they won't bill your credit card until the item is shipped.
I ordered a GPS unit on sale at about noon on a Friday. The item was shown as in-stock, and my card was billed immediately. The following Tuesday, the web site showed that the same model would be shipped in "2-3 days". Six days after my order was placed, I called to find out it's status, and was told that demand had exceeded their expectation, and that they were expecting a big shipment the next day (Friday), which would be sent out that day. I finally received an email the next Friday, two weeks after I had placed the order, that the package had been shipped. Other than that email, and my call to the company, I got no information from them about back orders or expected shipping dates.
The package arrived with the correct order, and was well packed.
In summary, if you can live with them charging your card immediately, and potential delays in shipment, their price was good. There was no high pressure sales, no bait and switch, and they eventually came through with the item I ordered.

TigerGPS's page advertises "SAME-DAY SHIPPING" quite prominently. Don't believe it!
The item page when I ordered claimed that the cable was in stock, and my order confirmation email made no mention of a backorder. If TigerGPS had simply been honest about that, I wouldn't be in such a huff right now. So I confronted them about the baffling 8-day delay between the time I placed my order and the time it shipped, and they now insist that the confirmation email said the item was backordered. I just read it again, and it makes no such mention, I assure you!
Now, a little honesty in the first place, listing the item as out of stock, would've been nice. In lieu of that, a little honesty the second time around, a "mea culpa, we failed to mention that it was backordered", would've been acceptable. But lying on the website, and then lying about it, is not cool.
That said, their selection and prices are hard to beat, if you have a few weeks to wait. But when it comes to customer service honesty, don't expect this Tiger to change its stripes.

Store is guilty of false advertising. On the date I order (8/7/06)Fodor's North American Travel Guide for Nuvi 350, the site said item was in stock. I red'd email that order was being processed. Two days later I rec'd email indicating the item was on back order. I checked site and item was still on 8/10/06 and site still indicates item in stock. This store is baiting customers to submit orders for items not in stock. I cancelled order and will never order from Tiger GPS again.

I read the other reviews and decided that whether the item was in stock seemed to be the only issue people were having. So I called Tiger to verify that the Lowrance 480M was in stock. They assured me it was, I then placed my order thursday afternoon. It was shipped friday afternoon and I received it tuesday AM. This was from New York to N.W. Indiana. The unit was new. I have installed the unit on my boat and it works fine. So my experience was good with Tiger GPS.
