"As usual, Tiger was efficient and cost effective. I woke up on the morning of promised delivery date to find the package already on my porch, and I live all the way on the other side of the country. The price was better than I found anywhere else on the net that day, by a respectable percentage. Combine that with free shipping and no sales tax, I would recommend Tiger without reservation."

"I live in northern mexico. Order # F9724189

International payments are a nightmare and urgently need improvement if you want to sell to global customers. I ordered online on May 2nd, and made the wire transfer on May 3rd (Mexico bank to USA bank). After more than 10 buisness days of doing the wire transfer they have not confirmed payment.

Today May 22nd my order dissapeard from My Account, I have shopped all over the world online, from all the international wire transfers I've made this is the first that has taken this long to confirm. Most payments can be confirmed in a maximum of 72 hours or 3 buisness days easily.

I've already purchased my items elsewhere, got tired of waiting and calling. I consider this learning expernience, and my money lost with an unknown status from the store.

Don't get me wrong on this review, this store has great customer support, and they tried to help very kindly. Online ordering with US paypal or credit card for US customers is very very good. But I feel the day to day operations within the company are very disorganized when it comes to international orders, a lot of mistrust for any form of payment that is not withing their list of authorized countries, other similar competitors already have very good verification systems for any international forms of payment. They still need to work in that international department, no automation feeling there.

In the end I would like to get my wire transfer money back minus any fees or penalites for doing so, but if they can't even see the payment, I feel this will be a lost cause.

"TigerDirect's prices were right, ordering was easy, but after dealing with their shipping, customer service department, it's clear why their prices are so low. The company is understaffed and unorganized.

I ordered parts to build a computer for my business on May 16th (Wednesday evening), and paid for overnight delivery because my business needed the computer for an event over the weekend. May 18th (Friday) rolled around, and I received only the tower case for my computer. I immediately called the company and asked them why I didn't receive the rest of my order, and the sales representative could not give me a clear answer. After admitting the company had made a mistake, he said that they would be refunding the Next Day delivery fee, which I appreciated, but then was assured that the rest of the order would be here Monday, May 21st.

To no avail, May 21st arrives, and nothing gets delivered. I call them back, and after a snappy representative admits they made another mistake, he talks to me like I am idiot for not understanding why my order has not arrived. He finishes the call with we will be starting an investigation on this order and you should receive a status update via e-mail, which was never sent.

I call back later in the day and ask what is going on with my order, because they never sent me an e-mail, and am then questioned why I am calling back. At this point I am exasperated with the whole process, and considering it's "NEXT DAY AIR" figured that after almost a week of going back and forth with these people that clearly it was shipped today (May 21) and it would get here Tuesday (May 22). The sales representative responds in a condescending tone that it will be arrive a day after the shipper receives it. Assuming that the order was already sent to the shipper on Friday (may 18th), when my call was initially made about their FIRST error, I replied with, "so it will be here on Tuesday (may 22)". The guy says, "let me repeat myself, a day after the shipper (UPS next day air) receives the order". So now, I am told it will be here Wednesday (May 23) after placing and paying for an overnight delivery on May 16th.

It's not like there was one error here, there were several made, and the biggest disappointment was the lack of respect their sales representatives have for their customers. They were at fault, I should not have been spoken down to for asking why my order is not here yet. Let's see if it actually gets here by Wednesday (May 23). If not, I am canceling the order.

Moral to the story is: great products and prices, poorly managed and staffed company. "

"Terrible customer service, and it operates like a scam site.

I had purchased a Crucial M4 256 GB SSD @ $229.99, thinking that it was a good deal. A week went by without my receiving the order, so I checked on the order status. The status had stated it was "shipped." UPS claimed they had never received it. I didn't know who to believe.

Two weeks pass. I find out that the product had been returned. I'm not even processed a refund. I several emails asking why, and I don't get a response until I send an email asking why it had taken longer than 24 hours to respond. And that email FINALLY tells me that they've refunded my money.

I'm never buying anything here again. Amazon.com will often price match, and Newegg (although it has tax in California) will often be just as cheap as well before taxes are added. Amazon.com and Newegg simply have never messed up, and I have purchased several thousand dollars' worth of computer equipment from both of them combined.

This was my first time trying TigerDirect.com, trying to save $10 from Amazon.com, and it will be my last.

I urge everyone to be cautious when ordering from TigerDirect.com. The other reviews here (if they aren't fake) may be good, but you should always judge a vendor by its negative reviews, which should be as close to 0 as possible. I feel that Amazon and Newegg have far fewer shipping errors than TigerDirect.

I gave 1 star for cost, because even though I got a deal, the price increased to $239.99 for no reason when my product could not be shipped. Not to mention that low customer service is generally another cost. It should not have to be painful to talk to a representative. "

"Ordered a barebones kit for a school project, paid extra money for next day shipping. I received everything but the case. Been 5 days now still haven't received the item, called them and wasted my time to just get free shipping. Now I have gotten a failure grade because I relied on tiger direct to get me this item. Would never recommend them again. Hopefully I get my case by Monday."
