Though when I received the phone (the 14th), the screen had a marking on it that was embedded into the screen. Mind you this is a Christmas present, so I was very disappointed to see a phone that\u0027s was marked \u0022Like New Open Box\u0022 with such a obvious defect that was so quick to see<br><br>Since I personally couldn\u0027t deal with them because of their business hours being the same as my work hours. My father was the one that spoke to ThriftyComputer.<br><br>When my father spoke to them, he made sure to inform ThriftyComputer that this was a Christmas present and ask that if we sent it to them would we receive it back by Christmas. ThriftyComputer ensured my father that if he sent it express, they would receive it on Friday (16th) and that we would have it back by Tuesday (20th). <br><br>Tuesday came and went and the phone wasn\u0027t here. My father then had to call them again on Wednesday to see what was the delay and he was then informed that the phone was actually sent out on that day and we would be receiving it on Friday for sure. Today is Friday 6:44pm and there\u0027s still no phone. <br><br>We also learned that the package was sent priory, not express. They never once gave my father the option to pay extra for the package to be sent express and my father never asked because they kept ensuring him that we would receive it by Friday, since he stressed to them that we would be leaving town on Saturday.<br><br>Another thing, when asked why there was a delay, my father was told that they had issues with the phone of some kind, so rather than sending us another phone, they spent 3 days working on the same phone and not once did they inform us that there would be a delay and we wouldn\u0027t be receiving in on Tuesday like they promised.<br><br>This wouldn\u0027t be so upsetting if we weren\u0027t misled. Now I don\u0027t have a Christmas present for my mother because I was misled to believe I would have one. <br><br>If we knew this was going to happen, we would had never sent the phone to begin with and would had waited until after Christmas to get the phone fixed. Because at least that way I would actually have something to give to my mother for Christmas.
