"DO NOT BUY FROM THE CLASSY HOME. We ordered a couch from the Classy home, and everything seemed to be going smoothly. They called to schedule a delivery time for Tuesday. On Tuesday morning we called to get a delivery time frame, and they said it would arrive before 1 PM. IT NEVER SHOWED UP. We called, and were told that they were on "vacation" for the next three days with no way of contacting them. We called the morning that they re-opened after vacation and were given no explanation as to why they would not show up or even bother calling us to tell us that they weren't coming after all. We rescheduled a delivery time. AND THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. Now they are closed for the next day and a half and we have to just wonder where our hundreds of dollars went and if the couch is every coming.

We are considering canceling our order and going through another furniture store that will match their price. This company is the most unprofessional and unreliable that I have ever encountered. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. I will be posting this negative review on every site I can and am blasting them on social media. Taking peoples money and giving them the run around is THEFT. "

"I was very pleased with the wide selection, reasonable prices and delivery of my furniture. I ordered a reclining couch, round swivel chair and slate end tables and coffee table. The quality is fantastic and the colors very true to what is shown on the website. Once all the pieces of my order were ready for shipping, I received it within two days! I am glad I found this site and would definitely order from them again! V. Kraft"

"Updated review. Customer service contacted me to try and work out a solution after reading my negative review.

Tried to order a couch, chaise lounge and bed. Bed was backordered for 2 months (not mentioned on website). Was very dissatisfied as they wanted to charge me double for shipping if I wanted to receive the couch and lounge before then.

Solution they offered was to charge me less in shipping the couch and chaise lounge (I originally paid the premium for platinum delivery service but these items did not need the service/it just wasn't worth it as there was no real assembly... was not aware of this until speaking with the customer service rep.). And then the bed would arrive 2 months later with just curbside delivery. The cost to me would be the same as original but the downside would still be: no bed for 2 months, and I would have to assemble the bed myself so I had to decline the offer as it was not equivalent to what I thought I was buying."

"Like many people who purchased from The Classy Home, we too were skeptical about purchasing furniture from an unknown internet store and having it shipped to our home several hundred miles away...but we decided to take a chance, and had a great experience and highly recommend buying furniture from TCH. Upon placing our order, we had an immediate confirmation of our order, and several days later we received a freight tracking link from the delivery company. Delivery went great, and we had our new Ashley-brand furniture in our living room less than two weeks after the order was placed...and we saved over $600 for THE EXACT SAME furniture for sale at the Ashley Furniture showroom. No annoying salespeople, no inflated prices...just a great deal without the run around on name brand furniture! I do wish that an additional shipping option was available...we didn't need "white glove" delivery/assembly for our furniture, but it would have been nice to have the furniture brought in another ten feet from the garage into the living room!"

"Wonderful experience! Beautiful Ashley furniture! Even paying shipping saved several hundred dollars on just a bed and bedside table!!! Well wrapped, and arrived in perfect condition, which I was very worried about, because it got on the wrong plane (NO fault of classy! But the shippers even worked with me and gave me back line phone numbers and told me exactly what to say, from one air terminal to the next "you have a hot shipment" meaning one that their not supposed to! I still got it sooner than the original first expected date when ordering!!! Wow!!!"

"This was my first time ordering furniture online and I was amazed at the excellent service and fast shipping from the Classy Home. I ordered $6000 worth of furniture on a Wed and it was in my home the next Thurs. I couldn't beleive it! And all of their prices beat any other online or in store furniture retailer. I highly recommend them!"

"I ordered a very large sectional and recliner the week after hurricane Sandy hit. As Classy Home is located in Brooklyn I wanted to afford them an opportunity to earn my sale. Classy Home was able to fulfill my order in the timeline they claimed. While in transit to Georgia the couch had been ripped on one area. We documented the damage immediately and Classy Home gave us the choice to have the area reupholstered or to receive a financial compensation. We opted for it to be reupholstered and it looks perfectly new! Thanks Classy Home for great customer service as well as quality furniture!"

"We found the sofa and loveseat at Ashley's. it was 15 minutes before closing so they rushed us out of the store and didnt take our order. I found Classy Home on an internet search. They had the same furniture for my cheaper. I ordered my furniture from my iPhone and it arrived a week later. It was in great condition and we are very happy. I highly recommend this site."

Purchasing furniture online can be tricky but Markey in customer service took care of everything.She is very professional, answered my many questions and worked hard to get the furniture delivered timely, she is a great asset to your company, and I will definitely recommend your site in the future.

"I have never in my life dealt with such I will get to it when I get to it. Be Aware You Must Keep your damaged furniture . Sad thing is the damaged furniture I got had a fork lift driven through the front and still covered and delivered to me . The damage was not seen till it was unpacked.When the fork lift was driven through the front it caused a screw or nail to bend and in turn damaged my brand new flooring my husband had put down two days prior as my early Christmas gift before arrival of my furniture. my furniture was to be delivered on the fourth Dec and finally arrived 7:00 at night with a foot of new snow on ground on tHE 17TH Dec. I refused delivery and loaded it back on truck and the nightmare began though. Today is the 7TH of January and I am still without my couch but instead of sending a new one ASAP I still must accept the damage one reapolstered. They are still expecting me to pay full price and in turn No Offer of anything towards my damaged floor . Quite a disappointing experience and sad but true I "always" have to contact them to out the process of things . I have been looking at this furniture for a year and was very excited to find the classy home site I wanted nothing more than this to be a great transaction but not so. Be prepared if you have any problem for the girl on the other end to make you feel like you did something to cause it . I always wished I didn't
call
so had my husband and he wasn't treated any different

"I purchased some furniture worth just over a thousand from The Classy Home. I am pretty good at researching the price on Internet and it was the best price I can get. So I was a little hesitate making purchase decision solely on price but pulled the trigger anyway because of the general good reviews for the store. Before the order, there were some emails asking for more detail about the furniture. Actually I asked the same questions to several online retailers. Among them, The Classy Home gave the most responsive, and mostly importantly, the most complete and correct answer. We also have some special delivery scheduling required and The Classy Home handled all that for us. We seldom purchase furniture online and were worried about every detail, product quality, shipping scheduling, etc. But everything turned out well. And we are very happy with the furniture we received. This good experience really encourages us to buy furniture online from now on. Much better selections and better price as well."
