![Share](javascript:share_rating({"review_body":"Snake Bite!<br> <br>The week of my orders, I was bitten on the bare foot by a juvenile water moccasin (cotton mouth)and spent several days nights in the hospital where I received 2 full doses of antivenom. <br>Unable to tolerate pain meds, the EO\u0027s became a godsend. <br>Upon release, I was suppose to return home to \u0027convalesce\u0027.... yeah right! I hit the ground hobbling on crutches cramming 3 days of work into a few hours as I needed to get to the mainland for an out-of-town livestock sale the next day. I was brutally abusive to my foot and the pain and swelling was intense. Only until I was at the show the next day was I able to settle down, get ice on my foot and get the oils prepared. <br><br>I opened a sample vial of Helichrysum and swabbed my little toe and top of my very swollen foot (where the pain was most excruciating) and as I was dabbing it on, the pain dissolved! I am not one to embellish, but the instant relief was phenomenal. I had to poke and probe to see if it was really real, and not just a deadening effect - which it was Not.<br> <br>The instant relief of this pain was understandably welcoming! I then blended into a 2 ounce of Super Skin Care Carrier oil: 30 drops Helichrysum, 20 drops Plai, 10 drops Frankincense, 5 drops Calendula, and 2 drops of the very conc. German Blue Chamomile CO2.<br>Over the next 2 days, I applied this to my entire swollen black\/blue foot where any pain dissolved immediately. I wore the stocking and applied ice at least 3X\/day and slept with it at night. The swelling dropped in this time by over 60% and the crutches were tossed away. <br> *NOTE: If you are snake-bit, GO TO EMERGENCY ROOM!!! If the bite is venomous, you may Need Anti-Venom treatment. <br>(Just always keep a vial of pain-relief EO blend with you;-)<br><br>Another deserving review: while at this livestock sale, I gave 5ml of this blend to my friend who has suffered this past year of chronic ankle pain from a fracture, and eats at least 4 narcotic pain pills\/day. She was skeptical but willing. As I genlty rubbed the blend over her swollen ankle, she stated, \u0022It is suddenly like you are rubbing the pain away.\u0022 She also poked and prodded at her ankle to see if is was just a deadening\/numbing agent ... it wasn\u0027t. She called me 2 days later and said in amazement that she is now taking less than one pain pill a day and will continue to use the blend and keep me updated. <br>She has since ordered the same oils and has blended 100ml bottles for supply and 30 & 5 ml bottles to carry with her.<br> <br>So, to keep this to the point I will end here. BTW: the color coded and infomation-loaded bottles are such a huge help for organizing and blending!
