"I was very excited to find the kodak easyshare z712 camera for such a great price at Fotoconnection, plus the free starter kit! I placed the order, was a bit unsure about it when I got an email to call to confirm my order. The sales person was a pushy, but I got what I wanted. The camera arrived sooo much faster then I expected! But my free starter kit was not included. I discovered that there was a shipping fee of $9.99 after emailing the promotion dept. I'm very upset because no where on the banner ad or web site was there a statement saying there was an extra charge for this free starter kit. I even went back to check it out again but found nothing about this extra cost. I feel this was very misleading. Don't think I will recommend this company to anyone else. "
"ok its been a month now and still no starter kit they keep putting me off thinking im going to forget.wow did i get fooled first i look for the cheapest price for a camcorder a jvc mg-130 and i find two places that are around the same price the new connection and fotoconnection. im deployed so i call both of them to see if they ship apo they both say yes. the new connection shiping was 2$ cheaper so i went with them. 15 days after i place my order my money was still in my bank account so i called them to see if they have shiped it. they said i have to wait 4 weeks for them to get it???????? (it will take a min of ten days for it to get to me from the states) so thats almost 2 months. i canceled the order and oredered it from fotoconnection they said they can send it the next day (great) but they fooled me in to paying for an "extened" battery (90 mins) for 40 bucks more.OH AND HERES THE KICKER THE NEW CONNECTION AND FOTOCONNECTION IS THE SAME COMPANY. it came in good time 10 days but they took the battery that comes with the cam out and put in the "extended" one. why didnt i get both? so i looked in to it. i had someone next door order the cheapest ver. of the cam i got and they got the same exact thing including the "extened" battery and they saved 100$. so i call fotoconntection to ask about it and they hung up on me. this whole time i have been waiting for a starter kit that comes free with the cam i never got it i even emailed them 8 times. on the 9th time they told me i had to fill this out to get it. "

"I purchased a Canon SD1000 digital camera because it was the lowest price on the web when I compared shipping costs and package information. The advertised price said that with the purchase a camera you would also receive the extra package that would include case, tripod and cleaner. I was later told that it would be included but I had to pay another $9.99 towards shipping to receive it. In addition I was later told that at the bottom of the confirmation email it told me to respond if I wanted it. When I spoke to the customer service rep at the initial confirmation he talked into purchasing another battery for $79 but never mentioned the additional fee of $9.99 for the package. It seems to me that he would have mentioned it at that point. He did provide expedited shipping and the product was received. I have not yet received the extra package."

"Be careful deal with this store!Ordered Canon 400D online at $589 the lowest price you can see. Then the story start. I got email ask me call in to confirm the order, so I knew the game start. Called back and got push-sale, "the camera was not US model", "you need 2 hrs battery", "better Lens"... I refused all and telled the sales I know the same, asked what is the best price I can get it? Finally dealed at $640 included shipping and Starter Kit. The price is still good on the market. Got the shipping on next day. It didn't have the Starter Kit and the invoice is $649.99. Called back, the sales said the price was correct transfered me to Service Dept. The service said, the extra $9.99 is for the Starter Kit. If I agree the charge they can then send it to me, "the kit cost $89 and you get for free". I refused the extra charge, he laugh at me "you are 1st customer argue on ten dollars". At the end, I have to call my credit card company to correct the charge. Note: you even cannot retrieval your order from their web. I did print the order verify page when I put the order as evidence."

"The overall experience with this company so far has not been great. I purchased the digital camera because of the free starter package and then never received it. When I called about it I was told by the associate that I was required to make additional purchases in order to receive the starter kit. I then asked to speak to the individual's supervisor and that individual said He was the supervisor and that he had no supervisor or superior for me to talk to. He then place me on hold for approximately 5 minutes and then hung up on me. When I called back, I was directed to a customer service rep who was very polite and helpful and took care of my delimma within a matter of minutes. "

"SCAM ARTISTS!Tried to buy an expensive camera lens ($1200). Was told it was out of stock, and was offered a "better" (aka cheaper) lens instead for the same price. Mom, without knowing said ok anyway, and so we were ripped off $400. They also said the original one was the international one, instead of the American one which sells for more; although that was just part of their scam as well.When calling to complain, they tried to offer me money back! instead of doing a refund. $200 back, for a $400 scam... I said no and proceeded to fill out a RMA. The billing department did not even process the RMA for two weeks, and when they did; the still ripped me off $150.DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM - EVER!"
