"48 hours to post a tracking number? Not even close. Been 3.5 days and still waiting. Price was good but service leaves a lot to be desired, and got disconnected after waiting on hold for 10 minutes."

"Company went out of business in April 2012 but still collects credit card sales and your personal information. Company refuses to issue refunds for your purchases, will not call you back, and does not respond to emails."

"I found my product here for about 2/3 of the cost at other merchants. I placed my order, and received it the next day. I would definitely do business with TheNerds.net again."

"I was super excited to see the Swiss Army knife I wanted for $30 less than anywhere else. I went through the ordering process and even put in my credit card number. But then, I noticed something weird in their payment section. Most websites ask for the 3-digit security code on the back of your card. The Nerds website asks for that AND the "customer service number of your credit card provider (listed on the back of your card)". IMMEDIATE RED FLAG. The ONLY time I have ever been asked for the customer service number was when a credit card SCAMMER called me trying to "reduce interest rates". What happens when you give the number to them is that they can totally see details of your cc account, your balance, etc. So, when the Nerds website asked me for this additional info - which nobody except a scammer has ever asked me - I grew really suspicious. I came here and read the reviews that say these guys are totally unprofessional and I believe it. It makes PERFECT sense that they are selling things they don't even have, and then telling people their items are on "back order" because that totally fits with their overall scammy vibes, like asking for more cc information than any legit company ever needs. BUYER BEWARE!!

I got the same knife on Overstock.com, where they didn't need unusual or excessive credit card info. I paid $20 more, but it's worth the peace of mind knowing for sure I'm not gonna be scammed."

"I ordered a credenza from them for much cheaper than anywhere else on the internet. Also, their shipping was less expensive than anywhere else. After placing the order, I did a search for reviews of TheNerds.net and was very nervous about my order after reading ones from this website!

I am pleased to say that my order went very smoothly and I received the correct item in excellent condition. I ordered on monday and it was delivered on wednesday.

I may be an exception to the rule, but I certainly hope not. I would order from them again based on this transaction."

"I placed an order with them on January 5th for an HP Touchpad that was listed as in stock on their website. Five days later and still no tracking number, I called customer support was told that they oversold the item and that my order is now back-ordered for SEVEN WEEKS. The only option I was given was to cancel my order - no discount or compensation offered for waiting on a continually devaluing piece of technology. This will be my last experience with this company."

"I placed two orders with them this morning for products listed as in-stock on their website. Tonight around 5pm EST I received notice that both orders were cancelled. The first email stated there was a problem charging my card (just checked my statement and a charge is pending). Then I got another email saying the item was back ordered. "

"As with most reviews I've now read, The Nerds are big on promising but fall way short on delivering. I placed my order on 12/23/11 and, as of 1/3/12, I still could not get any details on shipping. Yet, they charged my credit card on 12/27, the same day I talked with one of their CS Rep's who told me his supplier "could not ship directly to California!" What a crock! These guys are totally unprofessional and, in my opinion, total frauds."

"I guess I am the lucky one , the punk told me my card didn't go through , so I am not going to pull my hair out for not checking reseller before I clicked buy !After visiting the reseller ratings , I would NEVER BUY anything from them ."
