reply posted Oct-23-2012 “Sorry you felt you had a bad experience. But we do not ship to different addresses than the billing address of the credit card. We especially do not ship to hotels. This was explained to the customer and he was unhappy and half of his story below is him blowing off steam. It was explained that you can either add the shipping address to your credit card, set up a paypal account or use google checkout.
Credit card companies do not protect merchants that ship to addresses that are not attached to the credit card. The customer simply tells the credit card company that they did not make the purchase and the credit card gives customer their money back.
as far as a rinky dink company, we have been in business for 10 years. Have over 100,000 positive rankings on ebay.
Its a continuous battle with fraud and we are working diligently to beat fraudsters.

"I had a good experience with Digital Oasis a year ago when I bought a fishfinder, so I recently ordered a Navionics chip from Digital Oasis and the wrong chip was sent to me. I called Digital Oasis and informed them of this and they set it up for Navionics to exchange the chip and for me to mail the incorrect back to them which I did. Sadly, Navionics never sent the chip--they are apparently out of stock. Further, neither Digital Oasis nor Navionics called to inform me they were out of stock. When I called Digital Oasis about it and discovered the situation I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. The manager at Digital Oasis called and was both abusive and rude and I finally had to hang up on him. I will not deal with Digital Oasis again. The customer service women were fine. They listened and were empathetic. The manager has no business dealing with the public. He is very unprofessional and does not listen."
