I was trying to order Speaker Cable and mistakenly ordered Power Cable from them on Christmas Eve. I immediately sent an e-mail to them to Cancel the order. I received no response.
On 01/04/08 I received an e-mail indicating my order had been shipped!! In the Interim I sent at least 6 e-mails to all of their contact adresses -(Info@Teptronics/Paypal@.../Support@...) and received not a single response!!
Obviously it was my mistake, but they never had the common courtesy to, at least, respond! Instead, to their benefit, they just shipped!
I've tried to contact them in order to return the item, but again - No response.
These people are the stereotype fulfilled of the NY Sleaze Ball business. They obviously receive communications placing orders, but anything else and they don't bother!! "

"I order an mp3 player from them, when I recieve the item it was a piece of junk, radio no reception, audio have horrible sound and making noise when idle. when I return the item they don't give your's money back, they just credit the money into my account. Anybody out there planning to buy anything from them don't do it, this place is a scam of selling cheap, poor quality stuff. there customer service is horrible, response time was one week. Don't ever buy from them. "

"Terrible! There is no way to talk to a customer service represntative, they tell you to use the online Live Chat, but its ALWAYS offline!!!! I ordered something 2 weeks ago, haven't received shipping confirmation, haven't received responses to my emails, and haven't received repsonses to my ticket requests. Right now I don't know what to do because I can't get my product, and I need it before the 20th because its a christmas present and I'm travelling on the 20th! "Today, March 12, 2010 makes TWO WEEKS since my order was placed. My account was debited almost immediately for the 12" woofer I ordered which included $10.35 for shipping. If this was medication or something crucial, I would be a goner by now! WTF! Customer service is basically just answering the phone and supposedly sending a message forward to the company. I've left three messages and an e-mail too. Thinking about forwarding a letter to the attorney general or something. They were on Facebook, and as of today, there is no way to find them there at all. Did these guys go to jail and set the place on autopilot or something. We need answers!!!!"
"Okay ~ very poor start. HOWEVER, these guys [particularly one employee,Brett] managed to pull this from a very negative review to a highly positive one. It took a while to actually have someone respond to the numerous e-mail requests, but once Brett took over the order, things moved smoothly and quickly. "

"Very Disappointed, please be carefull when ordering from this website, the item I ordered was not in stock, it was on a 60 day back order, the website does not inform you of this like other web sites. Also if you try to call them good luck I could never get them to answer the phone, and there voicemail is normally always full so you can't even leave a message, so if you happen to ever have a problem with your order, you will never get a return call. I finally got someone to answer my e-mail, and I really hope they cancelled my order, Good luck to anyone ordering from them, I had a horrible experience."
"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered a amp 2 weeks ago. Their web site does not give any way to check tracking. I have called for last four day's at all time of the day and it has gone to the answering service located in Coral Gables FLA! I called the answering service front office and told them of the situation. I told them they might be part of a scam business and they should investigate this "rouge" company! He told me to call them tomorrow. Believe me I Will! THE ONLY thing that might be wrong I sure don't know, but they might be "snowed" in, and nobody can get to work or they might be flooded with calls and everything goes to the answering service. I just don't think this is any way to run a business! somebody please e-mail me @ ricewingers@yahoo.com if you know something I don't! I really would have liked to have my AMP! "
