"**BUYERS BEWARE**Stay away from techstore.co.ukTheir telephone manner is rude and abysmal, they don't reply to emails and they don't call you back (despite promising)I paid for an item that they advertised as available, but it turned out to be out of stock. So I asked for the order to be cancelled. They cancelled the order but wouldn't give me a refund!! I had to argue for 2 days... eventually they put me through to a 'director'. He then refunded after I had to kiss his ar5e.Stay away... this company should be investigated for it's bad practices and culture."
"Worst customer service ever!!!! I ordered a camera on 20 November 2007 and the website said it would take 1 week to deliver and 3 weeks later no camera. I phoned up Techstore and they said they had no cameras in stock, they said it was false information on the website. They promised it would arrived before Christmas but still no camera by January. I cancelled the order and changed it to another camera they said they did have in stock, but again no camera called back and they said they did have any in stock :( I finally gave up and cancelled the order and paid 2 pounds more to get the camera in 2 days from Kodak. This wasn't the end though, in trying the get my money back there was blank assistant after the next. They only gave me back £18 of £80 and said they will send the rest within 2 days. 2 weeks later no money. Iv called back 4 times since then and ever assistant has tried to get me off the phone and not cared what my problem was and I still do not have my money back. All in all worst company iv ever dealt with, worth paying 2 pounds more to get a camera and no hassle. My suggestion BUY ELSEWHERE!"
"I ordered a case for a TomTom One, especially from Techstore as it clearly showed a case for the Original. After four weeks of showing on their web site that the case was out of stock and would be available the following week it was despatched to me. The case was for the next generation TomTom One and of no use, I returned this item in December following their process to the letter, I have received no refund.I have contacted their customer service department on ten occasions be e-mail, most of which are ignored!I have, when I have been sent a response been promised a refund in the next couple of weeks on two separate occasions over the last three months.To date I have received no refund. I e-mailed their customer service team on Tuesday 10 April and again my e-mail has been ignored!"
"My order was processed promptly, unfortunately when the parcel arrived it did not contain the item I ordered. I emailed without response so I phoned and was told to send the item back recorded delivery and they would refund the original cost and the return postage. Several weeks later when my credit card statement made it clear that there was no refund I emailed again, several times, all without any response. I am now taking the matter to my credit card company and the Trading Standards Office."
