"Techexcess works very hard to earn your customer satisfaction. When an item was out of stock, they offered an alternative item at a low price and shipped it overnight. The difference is that they didn't say they would ship it overnight to try to entice me to purchase - they just did.
Consequently, I ordered the original item I wanted from them over someone else when it was back in stock.

They were very responsive and directed me to an hp help line. When hp was uncooperative, they interceded on my behalf very quickly and I received a replacement battery (which is working fine) the next day. I was pleased with the way TechExcess handled this problem."

"I'm glad I took a chance and ordered from TechExcess.net based on the good reviews I saw here on ResellerRatings.com. I ordered a "Compaq Compatible" battery for a Presario laptop. However, since they ran out of stock of the battery I ordered, they substituted it with an actual HP/Compaq brand battery. Not only that, but they gave me a 6600 mAh battery instead of the 4400 mAh battery that I ordered. The only downside was that ground shipping from NH to AZ took over a week, but that's more a fault of UPS."
"I only have great things to say about this merchant. It had ordered a genuine HP battery for my laptop. First of all, my order arrived within a short time and in perfect condition - at least externally. Within 3 months, the battery started running out in less than 20 minutes of fully charging. The battery had one year manufacturer warranty. So, when I contacted HP, I was transferred to various departments. After almost one hour's efforts in vain, I was utterly frustrated and hung up. When I contacted the merchant, he worked for me with HP and got them to send out a replacement item. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent customer service."
