"Target sucks! I placed an order for Garmin nüvi 1450 LMT Portable GPS using coupon with 30$ off. They canceled my order and said the ad was wrong. This model does not has Blue-tooth. I called them today, and wait more than 30min to get through. Basically, they can do nothing! I will never buy anything from Target again. "

"Ordered a Garmin nüvi 1450 LMT GPS from Target.com only to have my order canceled due to the item description stating this GPS had blue-tooth capability when it does not.
Instead of asking me if I wanted to cancel this order, Target took it upon themselves to cancel this order for me. As an educated consumer I was already aware the 1450LMT GPS did not have the blue-tooth feature compared to the 1490LMT which does.
I made this purchase on Black Friday and used various legitimate promotions provided by Target.com which made this GPS very attractive. Now I am being ask that If I want this GPS I must reorder at a higher price and must now wait an additional 2 to 4 weeks for delivery.
I have been told I can reorder this item at the higher price and receive a charge back of the difference when the item ships. I refuse to accept this offer primarily because I can no longer trust Target.com to honor any agreement, plus the fact I will not receive the GPS before December 24th.
Why I cannot have my original order reinstated is beyond me. "
"This is an update to my previous review. After Target cancelled my original order for 1450LMT because it was "mistakenly" advertised as having bluetooth, the re-order was to be delivered from Dec. 23 to Jan. 10 (compared to Dec. 8 - Dec. 17 of the original order). I checked today my re-order, and the delivery date was delayed even more to Jan. 20. If the only problem was in the product description, then there should not be a delay with the product shipment. They are liars! They did not reply to my suggestions to make things right: 1. Either send a gift card for the amount of the Black Friday discount so that I could get the item at the local store (which has plenty of them in stock); 2. Ship the bluetooth capable model (1490LMT) which is just $30 more than 1450LMT and taking into account their $10+$10 credits applied to my account would be just $10 loss to them (and I would actually pay this amount if they wanted me to). Now they lost me forever.
By the way, I also bought from them a spool of Christmas light that were missing replacement bulbs and fuse. Their CS representative told me to buy replacement bulbs at Home Depot!"

"got the 1450lmt garmin nuvi gps from target for black friday but has now got an email saying order is cancelled. They offered a new deal for a lower end model with a 15$ increase in price. very bad....."
"I ordered a Garmin nüvi 1450 LMT GPS from Target.com on Black Friday and used various legitimate promotions provided by Target.com. The order was then canceled by Target with the reason given that the item description stated this GPS had bluetooth capability when it does not.
The proper thing for a reputable business to do would be to notify me of THEIR MISTAKE, and ask me if I wanted to cancel the order. I would not have cancelled, as I was already aware the 1450LMT GPS did not have the bluetooth capability compared to the 1490LMT which does.
If I want this GPS, I must now reorder at a HIGHER price and must now wait an additional 2 to 4 weeks for delivery. This was going to be a Christmas gift, and the shipping timeframe makes that impossible now.
Additionally, by ordering this unit for this price, I passed up on other Black Friday deals for 5 inch GPS units from other retailers, and now these are no longer available.
I am supremely disappointed by Target, who I had thought was a reliable and honest retailer. Shame on you."
"Target is a despicable and dishonest company. They advertised a special price for black friday instore and online and allowed customers to purchase this item at the special discounted price. The ones who were able to pick it up in store were the lucky ones as the ones who ordered online got the shaft by Target. 3 days after placing the order, Target sent out an email stating there would be a delay in fulfilling the order, which was ok with me. Then the day after the item went off sale, Target sent out a cancellation email citing "limited stock," but stating I was welcomed to purchase the item at regular price in store or online later on. This is clearly bait and switch on Target's behalf and should not be tolerated by consumers."
"I ordered the Garmin nüvi 1450 LMT on black friday. Today I have found my order to be canceled but assured that with this special promotion code supplied by Target that I would receive my original price that I paid for ($135 after black friday deal and a coupon).
Now they are asking $155 with both coupons and over a month long shipping date. "
"Target Cancelled an order for a Garmin Nuvi 1450LMT a week after the order was placed and confirmed. Their option was to order a different model with fewer features at a special discount, but the special discount ended with a net increase in price of over $25. This option doesn't work for me. I will take my business elsewhere."
"I too purchased (or thought I had purchased) the Garmin Nuvi 1450 LMT Portable GPS Navigation System. I placed my order on 11/26 and wasn't notified until 12/3 that my order was canceled due to supplier error. Apparently, their excuse was that the ad referenced the unit as blue tooth ready when actually it did not have that feature. From what I can see, the ad never mentioned anything about having blue tooth. I assumed it did not when I ordered it and I was fine with that. When I started to re-order it with the code they gave me, I soon discovered that the "discounted" price was not a discount at all. It actually came out to cost more than I initially paid. (Let's see.... initial order supposedly with blue tooth, cost was $141.89; without blue tooth came to $148. Makes a lot of sense paying more for a feature that you don't actually get.. ha ha!) When I spoke to customer service and explained to them what had happened, they weren't willing to budge on the price. When I asked to talk to a manager, I was told they were busy. Finally, she said she would check; put me on hold and then came back to tell me that they would give me the unit for the price that I initially paid ($141.89). At this point in time, I was so frustrated about the whole thing, I told them to keep it as is; cancelled. What irritated me the most is they made it sound like you were getting even more of a discount than before, but it actually cost more. They should have taken an extra percentage off for the hassle and confusion they caused. That is what any reputable company would do. By the way, I never did get to talk to a manager. "
