"ORdered on Friday and got them delivered on MOnday. Fastly shipped. They seemed to be pretty reliable. No problems with my order. You can also return the items in-store which is a plus."

"I ordered a Lexmark printer in November. Changed my mind and returned it to the local store. I still have no refund and another billing cycle has come and gone. I've called more than five times and gone to the store numerous times. Target has emailed me and apologized. Why is a refund that difficult?? Shut this department down if you can't handle a simple refund on a Target credit card. Terrible service.
Finally received credit- Feb. 1st for something ordered Nov.3rd. Yay. It's over.."

"On December 26, 2011, I ordered a package of 4 toothbrushes for about $25.00 from target.com and paid for them online with my credit card. Several days later I received a shipment from target.com. Inside the shipment package was a package of 2 toothbrushes. I telephoned target.com customer service and asked that target.com ship me 2 more toothbrushes because I had received only 2 toothbrushes instead of the 4 that I ordered. The telephone customer service representative said that I would have to go to the target.com website, pay another $25.00 and order a package of 4 more toothbrushes. Afterwards, I would have to use a printer to print out a return label, repackage the original 2 toothbrushes, and ship them back to target.com. I stated that the easiest thing for me would be if target.com would ship me the 2 missing toothbrushes. The telephone representative said that would be against company policy. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and that supervisor told me the same thing. I asked to speak to a a higher-ranking supervisor, and that second supervisor told me the same thing. By that time I had spent about 1 hour on the phone wasting my time with target.com employees. I telephoned my credit card company about the issue. My credit card company will file a dispute with target.com for a refund to my credit card. I will never do business with target.com again. This company practices horrible customer service. Target.com sent me one-half of what I ordered, expected me to place another identical order and pay for it, at which time I would have paid more than $50 to target.com for 2 toothbrushes, albeit the target.com customer service representatives and two supervisors stated that I could receive a $25 refund later if I would do all of the work to print out a return label, repackage the merchandise, and return it to them. I thought there was a very good chance that if I did take all of those steps, I might have received 2 toothbrushes in second order, just like I did in the first order, plus, I had no idea if and when I would actually receive a refund for the shorted first-order if I actually returned it to target.com. This company has lousy customer service and business practices. I will never do business with this company again. It is a lousy company. On a scale of negative 1 to positive 10, I rate this company a negative 1, -1."

"I had a gift registry with Target for my wedding. I was sending 250 people to their stores to buy our wedding gifts. However, some of the items were not available when people went to buy them, so they would get something else. When I went to return these items, most without receipts (because they were gifts) I received SO much attitude and very little help. Have been a bridesmaid in 5 weddings since and have steered all brides away from their registries."

"i don't know why everyone here seems to write a bad review. I've ordered from online target many times and i've never had an issue. It certainly seems unfair. There is no rist in ordering when i get something i don't like, i just return it for a full credit."

"I am very disappointed in how target returns gifts especially after the holidays! My husband bought me a watch that I wanted to exchange for a different one, but I did not have the receipt. They were going to give me $5 back for it and turn around and put it right back on the shelf for $20, which is what he purchased it for! There was no clearance or anything! This is absolutely rediculous! Thank goodness I had the credit card it was purchased on so I got my money back and took my business elsewhere! If they would have done an even exchange or given me a gift card for the whole amount they wouldnt have lost money! I would rather and will from now on purchase my stuff at walmart! They are usually cheaper than target anyways!"

"This review is for Target.com, NOT the Target stores. I just had the WORST experience in my life after ordering a large item on Target.com. The day that I ordered the item, I received the same item from a family member...so I tried to cancel the order that same day. When I called, I was told that I could not cancel the order because it was after the 30 minute window they allow to cancel the order. Come on...who cancels an order 30 minutes or less after they've placed the order?? The item had not even been shipped yet...but I had to wait until UPS delivered the 100lb item before I could return it. I was also told that I could return it in one of two ways: 1)Send it back via UPS, or 2)return it to our local Target store (20 miles away). In the meantime, once the order was shipped, my credit card was immediately charged...big surprise. So I waited for the item to be delivered and decided to return it to my local Target, so that I could get an immediate refund against my credit card (if I returned it by UPS, who knows when or if I'd ever see the refund!). After getting the item up to the customer service desk, the manager tried to wand it in, but the computer would not let her. The message was that this item could not be returned to the store, but had to be shipped back via UPS. I have to say, the manager was extremely helpful..calling 3 different times, and getting the same run-around I was getting. When she handed me the phone, I explained the situation to the supervisor at Target.com and was told 'Sorry, there's nothing I can do for you. No, you can't leave the item at the store...you have to take it home with you and then return it via UPS...oh, well, sorry that you were told incorrect information...too bad so sad...is there anything else I can help you with?'. This same supervisor stated that it says right on the order that it cannot be returned to the store...well, I looked and the only place I could find that statement was on the packing slip...that's the little piece of paper that's attached to the box when it's delivered...after they lied to me and after UPS had delivered the item. And that was that. I had to bring the 100lb item back to my house and now I have to request that UPS pick it up....all this because I was not allowed to cancel the order on an item that hadn't even been pulled off of the shelf yet. FYI, the shipping charges (free for me) were $59.99 each way...$120 that could've been saved by Target.com if they weren't so damned inflexible.

The moral of the story is....NEVER,NEVER,NEVER order anything from Target.com. Their cancellation/return policies are unreasonable, inflexible and archaic...and their customer service is inexcusable. I order alot online, but I don't care if Target.com comes in cheaper than all the other online stores...I would rather spend the extra money than order from Target.com again.

Note: I have always had good luck at the Target stores. The manager I dealt with during this particular transaction was very professional and tried her best to make the customer happy. She told me that they have had alot of trouble with Target.com too."

"I HATE TARGET.COM!!! First their customer service is BAD! I had ordered 2 coats after Christmas and it said it would be here on 1/1 or 1/5 and I thought good, right before school starts off. So I noticed I mstake I put the wrong address, so I called 2 mins later and changed it to the right one, and the rep he repeated it back to me! So days later get a email from UPS saying that it was no such address. I'm thinking why would that happen I called them and made sure it was the right! So I went back and fourth with target and Ups and both were blaming each other. So the target rep superior helps me and tells me that the agent put the wrong addressand this can't be fixed so they give me a 20$ gift card to solve the problem and I need to goto ups and pick it up. Ups also told me I had 5 says to pick it up or they will send it back
, mind you they were closed on that Monday so I had to wait till Tuesday. So today I goto ups and guess what!!! It's not there they delivered it to my house yesterday? I did not recive it yesterday at my house! They took it to the wrong address house which they fixed but it was still wrong!! So I called target to track ky packages,mind you I had to call ups 1st while was at the ups store! Wtf!! But back to target they said I had to wait 2 to 3 days then call back!!! (Umm no!) Why b/c they had to do a investigation on it. So I said let me talk to your superior and he was like no they are just gonna tell you the same...no let me talk to you SUPERIOR!!! DO he danced around that! For like 5mins... And I guess he could tell I was getting mad so he sent me and so he transfer me over. I told her what was going on and she said what he told me was WRONG about the 2 to 3 day waiting period! And she said since it was sent goto that address and see and give her my # so she can check and see! So I did that and they were they were there!! I got them but I have one more dillima the coats are 2 big!! But sorry for the typos I'm on a droid and I am very dissatisfied how all of this played out!"
