"I have also had the 'pleasant' experience of having SuperBookDeals refuse to answer my requests for a refund after I shipped a textbook back to them to return the book.

Has anybody attempted to report / take action in regards to this horrible merchant? I would greatly appreciate any input from anyone about how to handle the situation. It seems that numerous people have the same complaint, and it is unfair and unjust for this company to steal money from people.

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS SELLER!!!

I ordered a book from them for school. Delivery window online was listed as 4-14 business days. It is now 30 days later, and the item has not arrived.

I had to email the seller TWICE to receive any sort of response, and it took them over 3 days to respond. When I explained my situation to them I was told in an email "to be patient" and that my order would take 4-6 weeks to arrive, regardless of it being listed as 4-14 days.

I was forced to buy the book from my school's bookstore for TWICE the price.

Unprofessional and ridiculous treatment of its customers. The average of 1-star ratings of this seller is well-deserved. "

"Extremely slow in delivering.......still have not recieved a simple engagement calendar that actually comes with it's own shipping package ( Sierra Club ).... it's been two weeks and they charged me a $3.99 shipping fee.
Got an email when I ordered that said it was shipped....and would arrive in 7 - 14 days....what kind of delivery service takes two weeks to deliver a tiny book??? And you don't know the long delivery time until after you have made the purchase. Ridiculous! Won't order from them again, and Barnes and Noble should remove them from their bookseller list."

"I ordered my textbook from superbookdeals on Jan 5, 2012. I paid an amazing price of $4.00 plus 3.99 shipping via media mail. The book is in perfect condition, like new. I received my book on Jan 17th, in time to start my class. This company was difficult to contact, but always returned my EMails, in a timely manner. I am extremly pleased with my purchase and the awesome price. Thank you for excellent service"

"they are terrible!!! they wouldn't let me cancel my order 9 MINUTES after it was placed (on a business day). They waited 3 DAYS LATER to tell me it had "already shipped" but I didn't receive it until 3 WEEKS after I heard this lie. They still haven't refunded me my money, and I will NEVER order from them again. STAY AWAY."

"Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! I too had the unfortunate experience of purchasing from this low-life company through Barnes & Noble. Misrepresented the book and then would not respond to inquiries about a refund afterward. Countless attempts to contact, continued no reply. I am extremely dissatisfied with this company. I wish I would have read all of these reviews prior. I would never have purchased from them. I think Barnes & Noble needs to ban this seller because at this point, I would think twice about purchasing from Barnes & Noble ever again. Shameful!"

"The worst book buying experience I've had in all of my undergraduate and graduate school career. I've had to get an extension on an assignment because I still don't have a book. You would think if something from INDIANA shipped on the 4th it would have arrived just a few states over in no more than 5 days. It's now been 2 weeks and nothing. Not having a tracking number is one of the worst ways of doing business that I can think of. And the returns process for people in my situation who have to go somewhere else to buy a book while waiting for the book I ordered to come in is ridiculous. Making the buyer pay for shipping and have a product returned within 30 days is a bit unfair when people have waited upwards of a month to even get the damn thing. Running a bookstore that sells college textbooks that take this long to arrive is laughable. Do they think college kids buy their books a month or more in advance?? No, try a week or two. I agree with another reviewer who said the high rating of this merchant on B&N website is very misleading."

"I purchased a book on 12/10/11. I still have not recieved it. I wrote 3 times to customer service and never recieved a response. I called Barnes and Noble and they said it had shipped on the 10th and had no way of tracking it. Stay away."

"I placed an order for 3 books on December 29th, and have not recieved the books even now on January the 20th. I don't suggest you order anything from this website. The "cheap" deal you think you are getting will end up costing you in money, time and stress. They do not give any tracking numbers, have no confirmation nubmers or information, and are very vague with any sort of help or information about your order. I don't believe they even a valid or real company. They are definitely not one you want to get mixed up with. I will be very surprised if I actually get my refund from them. "
