"I am the lucky one here. I ordered a camera lens on 12/21/2009. I needed it by Christmas so I paid for the expedited shipping. The lens arrived on 12/24/2009. I was not happy with the lens so I contacted them for a return number. The customer service gave me an RMA numer and I returned the lens via priority mail. The full refund was issued within a day of them receiving the lens back."
"I relied on the first 2 reviews of this company hoping they were going to be differant than the other Brooklyn internet stores I've dealt with. I placed an order for a camera on the evening of Feb. 9th. Made the verification call the morning of the 10th. I spoke with Berry. I asked if the item was in fact in stock and would be shipped right away. I was expecting the pitch to upgrade the camera but it didn't happen. By the questions I was asking he could tell I had been through this process before and he said so. I told him that I didn't care what was in the box as long as the camera was there. He then told me that I would need a battery for the camera. A battery was not included with the camera at the price shown on there web page. I didn't care if it had a battery or not. Berry then informed me that a camera without a battery was not in stock and I'd have to wait 3-4 weeks for it. However, the cameras with batteries were in stock they cost $329. Then he dropped the price to $299. This was totally unacceptable to me and I cancelled the order. This is the "bait and switch" routine. From my research I know that this camera comes with a battery, battery charger and several other things. Dealing with these Brooklyn store is not something a person wants to repeat.
"Don't Waste Your Time - You're Never Going to Get Your Order Anyway!!! Here we go again....tried to order the Canon Powershot SD880 - and received an email that I needed to call and "confirm" my order. Confirm means they want to pressure you into buying other items. When you decline you have just "confirmed" you will never see your order! 10 days later, rather than receiving my camera, I get an email stating that "by the time your order reached the shipping process, our inventory on the product you ordered was negative..." So annoying - spare yourself - run screaming!"
"MAJOR SCAM: this website is a scam, search online and youl see people all had the same experience, cheap prices then they call you to sell you generic garbage for ridiculous prices and then if you refuse they cancel the order and then back order. i had the same experience online. People reported credit card theft after using the website which explains why they ask for your bank phone number in the order form ( i feel like such a fool) i canceled my credit card imediatly. they also make you open an account to give a password so they can try to use it. STAY FAR FAR AWAY"
"In one sentence - StopNShopDigital should be avoided. I couldn't be more displeased with how I was treated as a customer. I sent an email to customer support based on the email address on their help page - the email bounced. In fact, all of the emails listed on their support page returned to me as the sender rejected the emails!
I then called leaving a message, in which I never heard back. I finally called to talk to someone, and when I was complaining about the service, they actually hung up on me during the conversation.
The prices are great on their site - however, if you have any issues, you are in trouble as you certainly won't get any help from the support team. Also, my order was put on hold (which is why I was trying to call them), so they could try and sell me other accessories.
Anyways, hopefully I can save someone else the frustration I had in dealing with this company. Shop elsewhere, the bargin prices aren't worth the hassle, esp. if you need support."
"After getting promises of shipment, and then a series of excuses the adaptor needed to use lenses ordered with my Lumix LX-3 arrived. I had waited over 3 weeks. It works just fine and I look forward to learning and using the capabilities of this great camera. The charger which was sold as an "international" unit with adaptors for several countries did not arrive as promised. I have been waiting and when the dealer emailed to ask me to change my review, I was told I had to send the wrong charger back to them before they would send me the right one. After getting promises that is was on the way before, I will cut my losses and stop dealing with this company. Although they did at last send the lens adaptor I paid for, I would not recommend them to buyers and will not be shopping there again. I hope this saves others some grief.
The initial price for the camera I bought was great, but they insisted I call before it would be sent. I succumbed to high pressure sales and ordered lenses and a variety of accessories. All items did not arrive together, in fact, the needed to adaptor to use the lenses and filters has still not arrived (2 1/2 weeks later) despite several emails and phone calls. I have almost exhausted the "21-day satisfaction guarantee" (verbal, contrary to written 7-day one in ad) and have not been able to try out accessories or camera as a result. The company promised the adaptor was sent a week ago via USPS, but would not tell me how to track it. I have given up on this outfit and will never buy from them again nor will I recommend them unless they make it all right. I am not confident they want to or will. Don't be drawn in by the prices. The service has been lousy and does not instill trust. "

"This is a complete bait and switch outfit. Despite being advertised as an American warranty (it is a "store" warranty only), when the customer is asked to call to confirm the attempt to up the purchase begins - high priced accessories and then the fact that the camera ordered is an "international" model with the manuals etc in a foreign language. Do not deal with them. I will be watching extremely closely for any charges on my credit card for quite some time. "
