"I ordered an AC adapter for my digital camera from these guys on eBay. The auction pictures a Fuji brand adapter, and claims in two places that it's a Fuji product, but they sent me a generic brand which is a different adapter style (wall wart).
According to the service department (who replied three days later), this is their idea of a "clear" listing."
"I ordered a couple of camera batteries as well as some AA 2700mah batteries. Shortly after I placed the order I received an email informing me that the "2400mah AA batteries" were on backorder, and that I could cancel that part of the order so that the rest of my order could ship. BTW, it is not a mistype, I did order 2700mah batteries, and Sterlingtek did refer to them in the email as 2400mah batteries. I emailed them back asking them to cancel that part of the order. The next day I received a confirmation that the AA battery part of the order was indeed canceled and that the rest of the order would ship. I received the rest of the order on the 2/4. I noticed that I had not been reimbersed for the AA batteries and sent them an email to that regard. I received a response telling me that the person responsible for the refunds would take care of it in the next few days. Three weeks later, no refund, so I emailed them once again. The response took several days and I was told that my order had shipped and to contact the shipping company. Talk about total incompetance, the person, Cindy, didn't even bother to notice that only part of the order had shipped! "

I've been using them for some time now and have been very happy, especially for the price compared to Canon's batteries. When I got my wife a used Digital Rebel I ordered two batteries for her camera. We got them quickly and they were on sale too. I'll definitely order again and recommend Sterlingtek."
"I ordered two camera batteries from this company, through the Yahoo storefront linked from their home page. They shipped them to the wrong address (their error) and called me when the package came back to them. They wanted *another* $6.99 (on $22.99 in batteries!) to ship them to my correct address. Then, they were only willing to credit $22.99 to my card, so I had to dispute the transaction for the difference with the credit card company.
I sent E-mail saying that it would be OK to just mail them to me, or send them some other way, to help them save money, but they were unwilling. This inflexibility is just unacceptable customer service. I won't order from them again, and recommend the same -- especially if $6.99 to fix their own error is somehow going to break the company... :(
"This is my second great experience ordering from SterlingTEK. The batteries have very high quality fit and finish, equal to the Canon orginal, and their capacity is higher. I've only had them for a few weeks but charge-holding appears excellent. In addition, when charging they do not get very warm, maybe better than the Canon original. This is critical for long battery life. The batteries from my previous order are doing well after a year so I expect these will also hold up over time. Shipping was very prompt and protective packaging suitable. I will order from these folks again and recommend them highly. "

"I paid a little bit extra for express shipping on two Canon compatible batteries, and they came as quickly as advertised. The replacement compatible batteries look just fine, at a price much less than half that of original Canon batteries. I would do business with them again."
"Called StirlingTek (on a recommendation) to order a spare battery pack for a Canon 20D and an AC/DC charger. The price was great as the battery and charger together (including shipping) was less than just the OEM battery.
I called on a Weds. afternoon and the phone was answered by a very friendly female voice who was also very helpful. She informed me of the total price with shipping and that the order should be shipped the next day (Thurs.) and be arriving in 5-7 business days. The delivery time sounded reasonable to me and with in the time frame of anything else that I have ordered through the mail. What blew me out of the water was that FedEx showed up at my door the very next afternoon with my order. This may not sound all that off as I have had orders arrive the next day when coming from New York (about a three hour drive from where I live) but StrlingTek is in New Mexico and I live almost literally on the east coast.
I have yet to determine if the battery is as good a quality as it looks (looks just like the OEM battery.) The charger worked fine and came with many adaptors for various types of batteries.
All in all I would say that I am extremely pleased with my dealings with this company and I would definitely order from them again. Once more I would highly recommend them to anyone. "
"VERY SATISFIED. These guys are GREAT. I ordered a battery for my son's Sony Handycam I was giving him for Christmas. The order arrived on time but the battery would not work in the HandyCam even after a full charge.
I called and was told the battery was defective, so I ordered another one and put it on my credit card, deciding to deal with the return after the holidays--well, the second battery arrived and it too would not work in the HandyCam--so now I'm getting upset as Christmas is coming up quick. I call again and get "Roger", the bookkeeper - I explain my frustration and he says he'll make good on my problems...Roger took the bull by the horns and arranged for a real Sony battery to be overnited to me from one of their distributors. He also credited my card back so the Sony battery cost me nothing. He also followed up and called me while he was traveling for Christmas!! I had read good reviews about this company when I was shopping for batteries for my Canon 20D. It turned out that the SterlingTEK batteries were not defective but rather Sony had changed the specs so only REAL Sony batteries could be used in the DCR-HC21. So my problem alerted them to a change they needed to make in the battery and I was treated so well I will reccommend this company every chance I get!!

"Ordered two NB-2LH rated as 1700 mah. Knew full well they couldn't be that high, but for the price, who cares, it was worth it.
They send ones that are listed as 1000 and after repeated questioning (5 emails) they respond and say that they sometimes use "replacement products".
It's still a good deal, but remember that they are not what is advertised."
