"I'm 17 years old, which basically means that I know everything. I'm also a nerd, going off to college next year to major in Computer Science, and I also work at Best Buy in the Computers section. While none of this is relevant, I'm telling you so you understand that I'm credible. Now, for the review.

StealthMachines is an amazing company. I was very impressed with the customer service, which was very quick to respond to any questions I had and very informative. Not only that, but the prices were unbeatable. I looked at lots of different big-name sites (ibuypower.net, widowpc.com) and to build a computer that was anywhere near as close to the one Stealth offered was a $600 price jump, not to mention Stealth had a much better selection. After looking at the other two sites I was disgusted with how they failed to even put up a fight to Stealth's superior configurator. Hands down, the best custom PC site I've ever seen. Trust me, this isn't a BS online company that's going to rip you off. Just give them a try, you will not regret it."

"I took a lot of time checking out different sites in regards to where I wanted to have my computer built. I found this site and after checking it out to see what the company was about I decided to have them build my computer. I must say, this company has some of the best customer service I have ever come across. Not only is Josef extremely prompt in answering any and all questions, but he has also been extremely polite and most helpful throughout any dealings that I have had with him. Also, this company is more than willing to switch out parts if there is a specific part you would like. One of the parts that I had chosen was not available and Josef offered me a few other alternatives or the option to wait for my specified part! I ordered rush build time which is 10 days and even with the wait for the specific part I wanted, it was built and shipped a few days ahead of time! I have nothing but positive things to say about this company and for any future computer needs I will be shopping here. Look around at other sites if you want, but I'd highly suggest ending your search with StealMachines. "

"I have had my Stealthmachines computer for a few days now and am happy to say that this computer surpasses my expectations. I am very happy with my buying experience from Stealthmachines. Like many others, I considered numerous other custom computer companies before choosing Stealthmachines. I ended up going with SM due their nice balance on prices, selection, recommendations, customer support, and previous customer feedback.

My buying experience was very smooth as SM responded to all of my questions in a timely manner. I was also given suggestions on the build of my machines based on my current needs and budget. Furthermore, at no point did I feel that I was being sold something that I didn't really need. I very much appreciated the honesty when dealing with Josef.

The build process was about ten days for my computer, which I believe is a reasonable time to make sure that the computer is built and tested properly. The shipping was very fast and the computer arrived in a very secure box, with plenty of padding to protect it during shipment.

I was VERY happy with my computer once I had it set up and running. It was exactly as advertised and actually even surpassed my own expectations! My Stealthmachine is fast, quiet, powerful, and you can tell the quality of the product and the very good work done on it by how stable it runs. I have had ZERO issues with the computer as of today.

So anyways, I am very happy with my computer and am glad I went with Stealthmachines as my custom computer company of choice. I would definitely buy from them again, and I recommend them to anyone who wants a great quality product, and some of the best customer support you are ever going to see.

On a personal note, I'd like to thank Josef, SM's owner, and Brandon (who built my machine) for the great work they did. We had an unfortunate situation happen when I first placed my order on August 31st. Sometime before shipment pickup, my computer was stolen from the hands of Fedex. I was very disappointed and discouraged when I found this out. As you can imagine, something like this requires claims, police reports, and investigations. Instead of having me sit back and wait during this entire process, Stealthmachines built me a brand new computer out of their own pocket. I was extremely grateful for that, and them doing this further justified my decision to choose Stealthmachines because of their awesome customer service track record. During this entire ugly scenario, I was always assured that I was in good hands and that I would be taken care of. Now, of course, I wish this situation had not happened and I would not wish this upon anyone else. However, it is very refreshing to see a company put this kind of dedication to their customer service. Again, thank you SM for taking care of me and for building my dream machine. I look forward to future business with you guys.

"I was very impressed with the customer service, questions were responded to efficiently. The prices were incredibly low compared to other custom computer sites. Stealth’s selection when making your own computer is unbeatable by any site, a lot more options were available then the ten other sites I looked into."

"After a horrible experience with ordering a computer from Cyberpower and getting a non-working piece of junk I did some more research and ended up ordering a computer from Stealthmachines.

I placed the order on April 17th and actually spoke with the owner Josef, who was extremely helpful in helping me assemble the computer components for my needs. He was very patient and answered all my "noob" questions. I came away more knowledgeable about computers.

My computer arrived on May 7th and it was in beautiful condition. The assembly was top-notch.

I ordered the computer without an operating system or video cards since I already had both, but even so it was clear that the computer had been tested.

My only minor complaints are:

1) The chipset driver CD that comes with the motherboard was not included and this caused me some problems because I had use a friends computer to download the chipset drivers from the internet and install on my system before I could access the internet.

2) I received the wrong motherboard manual.

3) There was supposed to be a small tool kit included with the Coolermaster Comos tower that was missing.

In speaking with Josef he apoligized for item #1 and said he would correct items #2 and #3.

All in all a great experience and I have a smoking hot computer that has been working perfectly!!

"I began the ordering process on the weekend after carefully reviewing the overall level of customer satisfaction on this site and verifying the BBB standing of the company. I was very impressed, and decided to send the payment for the order right away. This was the first time I made a major purchase from a company that I did not know of beforehand.

I was impressed that prior to paying for my order the owner of the company responded within moments to my initial inquiry about shipping to PR, where I live. This gave me a lot of confidence, in my experience it is very rare to get a quick response during the weekend to a routine inquiry.

The only hitch in the ordering process was that two parts were out of stock, but the problem was completely resolved by Sunday (gasp, people working on Sunday... responding to emails within minutes! Unheard of. :) ).

The fact that I was able to completely finalize the order on Sunday made me feel very happy.

Now I know that if I were to make list of the parts that went into the computer, purchase them individually and then assemble them it would have been cheaper -- but I was more than willing to pay a premium for quality assembly of quality parts. I expect to receive my system mid-next week and I am really looking forward to it!

I will update my review once I get the boxes in hand, but I am confident that the system will be truly excellent.

EDIT: Shipment Received:

The shipment arrived by the promised date, and I tore into the packaging with eager anticipation. As I expected, everything was perfect. The Antec 1200 tower case was well protected with its original foam packaging, and internal packaging prevented any movement of the internal fans installed. I carefully removed the tower from its package, and took out the internal packaging inside the case.

I was thrilled as I inspected the very neat assembly. All the cables were braided and out of the way, permitting very easy access to the motherboard.

As I booted it up, I checked its memory... the speed at loadup was simply incredible, as it should be given the config I chose:I7-960; ASUS usb 3.0 Motherboard w/ support for up to 4 PCI-E devices (three way SLI and a phys-x for example) ; 12GB RAM; NVIDIA 480 1.5gb RAM; 80gb SSD primary drive; 1.5TB data drive; blu ray burner and dvd burner.

All the software I requested was loaded, and the machine was ready to rock right out of the box.

This was a completely hassle free experience, and I am very satisfied with my purchase. "

"I always said before you buy your computer from a company your not too familiar with, first thing you do is check out the comments and reviews what the customer has to say. That's what I did before venturing into buying from StealthMachines.

What ! ...Four months have gone by since I purchased my "Dream Machine" QX9650 Quad-Core Processor, Asus Striker II Formula 780i Motherboard, 150GB 10,000 RPM Raptor Hard Drive, CORSAIR XSM2 4GB of memory, CoolerMaster 1250W Power Supply to run my 3 XFX GeForce 8800GTX Extreme 768MB Overclocked Graphic Card's running in SLi Mode.
The Operating System is Microsoft Windows Vista 64-Bit Ultimate.
I purposely delayed my review because I wanted to test out my computer first to see if everything would work correctly well I'm happy to say this system is the fastest gaming PC that I ever owned and thanks to Josef he made it all happen with he polite manners and superb knowledge in software and hardware.
Everything they put into the gaming machines are top notch brands and believe me you can't beat the price any quality. Also thanks goes out to the staff that works for Josef at StealthMachines.
YES I would buy again from this great company."
