"I needed a new computer for film work and personal gaming, and I had initially attempted to buy an Alienware system from Dell. After a month and countless delays (along with a slim choice of hardware addons), I had to cancel the order. That's when I came upon StealthMachines. Unlike other computer websites, I was able to call and speak with Ed, who not only was the head of the team building my computer, but also a nice, polite and smart guy that helped me decide everything I needed to build a computer that was faster, more secure, and better in every way than the Alienware I was previously considering. The prices at StealthMachines were reasonable considering the expertise going into the computer builds, and the personal customer service made it more than worth it to pay more than some of the other big business-small warranty sites out there. "When I first found this company, I had already been doing quite a bit of research for the new computer that I was planning on purchasing. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a myriad of positive reviews covering every aspect of the company and its employees. I went about ordering my machine, very satisfied with the guide page's tips on what to choose and why, and then placed my order. I did not pay for any kind of rush or expedited shipping, but my computer is being mailed today (05/13/2013), which was an amazing turnaround considering I was expecting closer to 30 days from my order date on the fifth.

As far as customer service is concerned, I couldn't be more satisfied. When I inquired about the status of my computer, I promptly received a response from Ed, the system builder at StealthMachines, informing me of not only my computer's progress, but also an ETA for ship time. He was even nice enough to give me a heads up today so that I would know the computer was being shipped.

All in all StealthMachines is an excellent company with employees that are knowledgeable about computers and dedicated to providing excellent customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent computer from a reliable company."

"I am like all the reviews before this. I had ordered my workstation from those commercial companies only to be disappointed. After lots of research, I found StealthMachines and thanks to their stellar records, I decided to take a leap.
The owner reached out to me and gave advice regarding my configuration, which I really appreciate. Since I am not much of a computer genius, all I wanted was a machine that does the work.
I didn't order for rush built, so mine arrived around 3 weeks.
It was well packaged and they left a little note which was quite thoughtful.
I have been using my machine for video editing and love it.
It's quiet and fast and does the work.
I would definitely recommend this team of people!

"I am very satisfied with my purchase experience with Stealth Machines. My order got personal attention from the owner, who helped me design a computer that met my needs without spending unneccessary money on capabilities I don't really need. I received the computer in good condition, and it was very easy to install a hard-drive from my previous computer. In fact, it was harder to remove the hard drive from the old computer than to install it in the new. Thus far, it has performed very well, and is as fast as advertised. The graphics are incredible, especially for the price I paid. I feel I got a much better performing machine from Stealth Machines than I could have gotten from HP, Dell, or any other major producer for the same price, and the customer service was much better as well. In addition to better quality for the price, my Stealth Machines computer is easier to upgrade, and doesn't require proprietary parts like an HP would. I would recommend Stealth Machines for anyone looking to buy a new computer."

"Just wanted to drop in and say how happy i was with Stealthmachines. I chose this company because i heard about how great customer service was. Let me make one thing VERY clear, there is no customer service department with this company it seems and i mean that in the best way possible. I spoke with Josef (the owner) every time i emailed with a question. I knew nothing about gaming computers and this was the first rig ive ever bought. He could not have been more helpful, he even recomended a cheaper operating system (windows 7) when i asked about 7 or 8. They are clearly not out to steal your money.

When i recieved the machine it did not have the monitor that i ordered with it. I emailed them and within 24 hours i had a response from them apologizing and letting me know they were shipping it immediately. I will defintely be doing business here again, outstanding company"

"I searched around for a good custom PC company for quite some time and ended up having a nightmare with iBuyPower's customer service (Which ended up in a cancellation/refund of my order).

After that, I spent a hefty amount of time searching for another company to order from...and found Stealthmachines! I decided to purchase my new PC from them after researching the company a little more.

They have a "A" on the BBB website, which was a huge plus for me. I also went through most of the negative reviews on ResellerRatings and was VERY pleased that a representative addressed the issue and resolved it entirely.

I ordered the "rush" service which guaranteed less than ten business days to ship the PC. It only took six. The estimated arrival date according to FedEx is the 29th, so overall it probably will take less than ten business days to actually receive the PC! I highly recommend the "rush" service. $100 for less than ten business days? Yes please.

EDIT: PC arrived on March 29th! Packaging was excellent. It was a huge box, followed by the normal box of the case I selected with packaging in any available space in between. No problems with any of the parts inside the case. I did notice that there were no remote controlled LED's installed that I ordered, a very tiny issue. Called them up and I was very surprised that the owner answered and resolved the problem instantly.

I am very pleased with this company and would highly recommend Stealthmachines to anyone looking for a powerful customized PC."

"I did quite a bit of shopping before I found StealthMachines.com. It was a refreshing change from the many others I dealt with. Although I believe there are some additions that could be made as far as hardware variety, it's hands down my favorite custom pc company to deal with and even seemed to respond to such suggestions as I see S.M. starting to carry more of want I wanted to see. I've dealt with other major competitors such as Cyberpowerpc who had a sizable variety of products & options but were lacking in professionalism and customer service. I had problems as soon as I got the pc, and they were astonishingly unsupportive is indifferent. I was treated so terrible by one agent that when I returned the pc I made a promise to myself not to deal with them ever again on principle because of the rude & unprofessional attitude of it's staff, not to mention some ridiculous policies it had. When I started looking Stealth Machines over, it didn't take long before I realized that it was the company that I wanted to deal with from then on. The site is very well laid out and is constantly improving, it's policies are fair and generous, Joseph the owner seems to genuinely care about customer satisfaction and is very accommodating, and doing business with StealthMachines has been an overall excellent experience. I highly recommend checking it out. "

"VERY pleased with the service I've gotten from StealthMachines, and Josef's personal interaction with me for every question, no matter how picky or annoying I may have been.

Love the computer and also VERY pleased with the extra's (not advertised) that it came with. In regard to the price, I shopped extensively (5 different companies) for a custom-built computer and StealthMachines blew the rest out of the water in every respect, especially ease of ordering, customer service, and price. I got comparable or better technology in this machine than Dell Alienware offered; with more than a $2,500 savings from StealthMachines.

DELIVERY: I left my expectation of arrival at about 30 days and it only took 11 (no, I did NOT pay for rush manufacturing and delivery)--TOP NOTCH Josef and crew--can't say enough about this team!

"I purchased my stealth machine about 18 months ago (sorry Josef, I really forgot to write this) It has been awesome, and an amazing investment. I hope to purchase my next monster from them as well. In over a year, I've had little to no problems with anything other than my own drives. >_"

"After doing a little bit of research, I decided to buy from StealthMachines for a couple reasons.

The main reason: great customer support. Josef responds to emails in a timely manner and not once did a question go unanswered.

Another reason I chose StealthMachines was the extended warranty. Other builders often offer standard 1 year warranties, but with SM you can get up to 10 years - a huge plus.

The third reason was the ease of interaction with the website. The configurator only shows top of the line components, which narrows selections down to an easily digestible list. I don't need an "expert mode" when selecting parts, if I did I could easily build the PC myself.

I received my PC today, waited until it warmed up (it's that time of year) and I could not be any happier with this machine. It's running all the new games I purchased for it flawlessly, all while being super silent - my PS3 runs louder than this beast.

Overall, this has been one of the best buying experiences I've had. StealthMachines is truly a company you can trust to build a quality product while maintaining excellent quality control and customer support."

"If you are reading this review to hear how badass a system I'm getting, move along. If you would like to learn about my experiences purchasing through the highest rated custom PC builder I could find, keep reading.

The wife knew it was inevitable. After catching me researching custom PC builders on and off for the better part of 6 months, she finally gave the go ahead. “Pull the trigger.” I was finally given the OK to put my foot down and buy the computer I wanted. (And my friends don't think I run the show around here...)

Wide-eyed, I jumped right to site that I knew had been recommended by almost all that had dealt with them. I went to StealthMachines for one reason alone. I am of the opinion that the service is the key when dealing with custom anything. When it all comes down to it, everyone has access to the same parts. The components, software, wires and connectors are virtually the same if not identical across like builds from different companies. It’s about the care with which those components are assembled and how the vendor/customer relationship is managed. All reviews I had read rated StealthMachines tops.

I breezed through their easy online configuration. (But, let's be honest, I had been practicing for months.) Having placed my order I noticed that I was not provided a link to track my system through the build and ship process. I was bummed a bit. You know, "pull the trigger" and then what... a receipt? Yep, I know. You've got my money. I want something. Now. (At times, I've been accused of being slightly childish but, darn it, I wanted some immediate gratification.) It was late. I went to bed pouting.

This morning, I waited until those @#!$!% mid-westerners were out of bed. At 10:14 am EST, I shot an email back to the support@stealthmachines.com, asking if there was a way to track the order process. Folks, I had a response 2 MINUTES LATER. And, now for the good part. Josef, himself had responded. That's the owner, folks. On my previous purchases, I hadn't received any emails from the CEOs of Dell, Gateway, Hewlett Packard, Packard Bell and IBM. (I know. I'm dating myself.) Now, I was intrigued. I went back to the site and checked their "Our Team" link. They've got FIVE PEOPLE. That’s a basketball team, not a baseball or football team, let alone some mindless assembly line. Some folks may be balking at the smallness of StealthMachines but, it actually put me more at ease. How can things not be personal with a group that size?!

I won't go into the details of my personal emails with Josef today. I will sum them up by saying that I've "only" exchanged three emails so far and I have no doubt I know where this is heading. He graciously addressed my request for a delivery projection, a veteran recognition/pricing issue and a shipment change request. Folks, this is day one. I doubt Josef is feeling as optimistic about this new vendor/customer relationship as I am. But, boy, I'll tell what. He never let it show. He currently has a happy customer looking forward to the arrival of a sweet rig. (That is the extent of my bragging on my soon to be badass system).

I'll keep you updated as I continue to walk through this process!

[UPDATE] Well this is a little boring. They were responsive to my questions (as I knew they would be) while I waited for the delivery. It arrived on time, when they said it would. It runs like a champ. It arrived with zero crapware installed. It came with all component documentation and drivers. SM, you guys really do "Get it" when it comes to keeping folks happy. You know I'll be back. Just a plain old "Thanks"."

"I have been shopping around for a custom built computer now for about four months and have checked out a lot of computer shops like magic micro, cyberpower, avadirect, maingear and stealthmachines. I kept coming back to stealth machines because of all of good customer reviews I have been finding and their ten year warranty also they have a 60 day money back guarantee no other store even comes close. When you navigate their site it is very easy you can customize your computer any way you want and if you want a part that isn't shown they can get it for you. Once I figured out what I wanted I saved my configuration. And within ten minutes I get an email from josef the owner of the company !!!!! He says if I have any questions to either email him or call him and he or one of his staff will help me. So I call and josef picks up on the third ring he answered all of my questions and was very helpful truly amazing that the owner actuallly talks to me!!!!! After going through a few different configurations I find one I want josef sends me another email for fifty dollars of any computer. So I ordered my new computer from stealth machines and am now anxiously waiting for them to build my computer. All in all so far stealth machines has gone above and beyond all my expecations when I get my computer I will update this reveiw"
