"I placed an order with this company and received one of three products after a few weeks. Upon receiving the first product, an issue came to light that these were counterfeit items (not the fault of the seller), but it made me return them and order a different product. It has been one month and 11 days and I have yet to receive the rest of the items from my first order. The second order was shipped, but labeled improperly and was returned to the seller almost a week ago.
I never received a status email beyond the initial order confirmation. There is no in/out of stock status. It took 4 calls to get the status of my first order.
I'm hoping to just get my stuff and never deal with these guys again."

They hide behind lengthy hold times and "full voice mailboxes"...Ordered an item I need for an installation and never heard back from them or got any shipping information. THIEVES-BEWARE They charge your card BEFORE immediately !!! They suck !!"

"Bad experience with Spytown. Ordered 2 weeks ago and received no indication that this item was on back order. Online status provides no information. There's no way to cancel the order online. Send 2 emails and received no reply. Called and hung up after holding for 20 minutes; Update: I decided to try calling back one more time and I spoke with an extremely hassled but very nice (Jen?) who apologized profusely and explained that they had recently been bought out by another company. She was hoping that this kind of problem would be behind them soon."

"I have been buying from Spytown for well over 5 years now, and have never found a better price anywhere on the web, or had better customer service with any company I have ever dealt with. I have spent no less than $50,000.00 with them since first finding them and have outfitted 2 houses with full camera systems which include 8 DVR's and over 100 cameras. I have never been disappointed with any order from them or ever had a problem with delivery. Even though they are a retailler, I have given thier contact information to 3 contractors over the years who used to buy the products they supplied to me from wholesallers ( after they put thier 30% markups on top of it & they now use Spytown as thier wholeseller. Ask for Howard if you want the best most knowledgeable individual in the industry. This is a 5 star company- you wont be able to beat the price or the service. "Ordered the item on Sunday, they got their money on Monday. I called about my item a week later about the status of order, and they told me it will ship the day after my call, here it is 2 week later and still nothing. They will not return my calls, or emails. Their order status page is worthless. I've started the process of getting my money back from Paypal. Buyer beware, they are bunch of scams!"
"Ordered many parts for a central vaccum system. All items noted as bulk packs. Called sales rep to ensure that the quantities were correct. Received items and everything was shorted. Have sent emails, left 3 messages, and requested items to be returned. Will not call me or email me back. Having to file dispute with paypal. $500 down the drain. Run away while you can!"
