"Order a hydraulic trigger release when I received the conformation I noticed that it was going to be sent to the wrong address. When I contacted Sportsmans Guide they told me they could not do any thing because it was ready to be shipped and to call Fedex. Called FedEx and they told me they could not change the address unless the sender (sportsman guide) changed it. I contacted Sportsman Guide again and they still refused to change the address even though I was more than willing to pay for the address change charge. They still refused and told me it was my fault there for I had to figure out how to get a package. This package going to be sent 900 some miles away to address I no longer lived. Sportsman Guide was more than willing to charge me for a second one to get shipped to the correct address. I did not want to but I did the funny thing it was damaged on arrival!!!!! I called for the fourth (4th) time this time about both orders. Well lets just say "the costumer is always wrong" and I never did get to say the second order was damaged on delivery, I’m glad this was not a $1000 item either way very poor business practice. ----Never again will I order through them or recommend them to anyone----"

"Ordered a spam can of 7.62x54r ammo from this website. Found a coupon online for free shipping. It arrived FedEx 6 days later including the weekend. All in all it was cheaper than my lgs, so that works for me.

I saw other bad reviews for this site but I took a chance and it a great experience for me.

People are always quick to give bad reviews but seldom take the time for good reviews these days, the choice is yours.

"I ordered a robe, it was inexpensive, I received it in a timely fashion. However, it is very poorly made, uneven stitches, stitches coming undone, may last a month, but I think if I wash it, it will fall apart. You do get what you pay for. Would not order from again."

"I ordered a product overnight and it shipped that same day which is great. On the website it never said that this product couldn't be shipped overnight, so I look later that night and it was shipped FedEx smart post and was scheduled to arrive 5 business days later, keep in mind I live within 1.5 hours from their building. It would have been 1 day ground, but I overnighted so that it had priority. I called and talked to their customer service and got a refund on the shipping(they would have kept my money for the overnight had I not pursued it). I called back to see if I could order another product and pay for Saturday delivery and the customer service rep was defensive and condescending. She kept passing the buck onto FEDEX. I told her she is going to need learn a lot about customer service relations if she is going to be effective in this industry. She immediately went on to defend her lack of tact. The product mishap was annoying, but forgivable, but what isn't forgivable was how it was handled by Joyce in customer service. "

"Signed up for the buyers club and haven't been able to use my newly created customer number to get the advertised discount on products.

"These guys stink!!! Their customer service is a joke!! Ordered item with original ship date of 10/23, which was two weeks after order date, no problem if shipped at that time. Called Sportsmansguide every few days to verify everything is OK. Assured each time or given canned answer. Bottom line after many calls and one week after reported ship date got email stating new ship date would be 12/12!!! Screwed up trip plans as item was necessary for trip. Would have ordered other product or from different company if I had known. Also their merchandise is not that great of price when you consider most of their stuff is discontinued models. Do your homework and you can beat their price every time with better quality. "

"I was reading all these terrible reviews for sportsman's guide before I ordered from them but they had the best price for the chest waders I was looking for. I ordered from them and they arrived a week later. Called customer service twice to make sure they had the right address to ship to and they arrived exactly when they said they would. I will order from them again without question."

"What a nightmare dealing with these people, ordered a jacket received confirmation email, on it was shipping and billing address, order number. After a week decided too check status of order with number they provide can't access order status with that number. Emailed customer service (what a f------ joke) received email Order on hold need physical address sent them another email with attachment of conformation email. Another week and a few more emails received an a reply Can't find order associated with my email address can you supply us with with Name Address Order number Customer number replied NEVER TO BE HEARD FROM AGAIN Please can someone tell me why hasn't this site been closed down

"I ordered 440 rds of 7.62x54r on Thursday and it arrived on Tuesday. I emailed them to ask questions before hand and they answered promptly and politely. The ammo was already very well priced, but I also had a coupon for free shipping which made it an amazing deal. I couldn't be happier with SG."

"in the beginning shipping was great but lately not so good.
I placed 2 orders a week apart and when I contacted them about the first order they kept referring to the second order.
like others have said "customer service" is horrible, not helpful at all.
recently purchased a jacket and waited 10 days for shipping to start and days after the quoted date it still wasn't shipped.
I cancelled the jacket and am anxious to see if they return my money.
I haven't been a member long and spent well over a thousand dollars but now I believe i will not be making any more purchases.
there are other sites that are cheaper than SG with better customer service and no fee to join.

"Over a year long battle with Sportmans Guide that I didn't even know I was apart of! Charged me for an item that I canceled. Shipped it 5 months later to an address I no longer live at and left AMMO with a leasing office that had no authority to sign for packages of mine. Never knew about the shipment until trying to refi a house and discovered they had a collection out. When I contacted them, they told me they can leave it at a leasing office and I need to pay immediately. Annette in the credit office was RUDE, no care - lacking any common sense or customer service etiquette "

"The absolute worthy took 180.00 out of my account set me up on payments And called me 5 days later and said no I can't buy on credit pay in full or nothing After they took almost 200.00 from me and said now got to wait 3 days to get my monies back. What a joke "

"Very poor customer service. Unlike some here, I did receive a response from a real person, several of them actually. It was like pulling teeth though trying to get them to answer my questions; they just kept giving me a generic response with as little information as possible. I ordered an item that said would be here in 5-7 business days, now after 5 days, it still has not shipped and they are telling me it will be another 7 business days before receiving the item. Since the item is a bow, I will be missing opening day because it will not arrive when promised. "

"Absolutely disgusting customer service. My grandmother bought a few things for me, so the shipping address was different from the billing address. They held the order up for fraud prevention and to confirm the order was legitimate, which is great in my opinion. The problem is they did not notify me of this issue. I paid for expedited shipping to have the items by the weekend and four days later I started to get worried that the order hadn't shipped yet (the order status page just said something like "awaiting fulfillment"). I then contacted customer service even though it was way too late to receive it in time. I was THEN informed of it being held up, and I told them to just cancel the order since I couldn't have it by the date I needed it. They said they couldn't do that without talking to the cardholder. Really? I can't even cancel the freaking thing? My grandmother had literally just got back from a stay in the hospital and I didn't want to have to put her through dealing with this, as she was nice enough to purchase these items for me in the first place.

My grandmother called them and said she had never been talked to so rudely in her life. She was snapped at, talked down to, and berated (because she did not know my address off the top of her head). Even after conference calling her bank and getting all the necessary confirmation from them that the order was legitimate the rep still did not want to release the order. My sick grandmother got so exasperated with having to answer the same question over and over again, and being treated like garbage, that she eventually just hung up the phone. The bank rep said he couldn't believe the attitude either.

It's too bad I paid to be a member of their buying club as I will never be buying from them again. I can't believe how rude and inconsiderate the customer service rep was even after being told that she was very ill and just out of the hospital. It's just disgusting.
