“As we explained to the customer, we clearly state in the terms of our eBay listings as well as in the returns section of our website, that if there is a defect the TV must go through the manufacturer for servicing. This includes if the TV is defective out of the box. We can only accept a return if there was physical damage to the TV. This is all clearly stated in our terms. We informed the customer when we sent the tracking info to check the TV to make sure there was no physical damage, and if there was any damage to refuse the delivery. However, it is not possible to set up the TV and check to make sure it is in complete working order while the carrier is present at the time of delivery, thus we do not ask the customer to do so. Every TV comes with a 1 Year Manufacturer Warranty, and if there is any defect it will be repaired at no cost. Since the Manufacturer was not able to repair the customer's TV in a timely manner, we had the TV picked up from the customer's residence and issued a full refund.”
