My big dog kept trying to get in it but couldn't fit but she was adamant about being on that pillow. Snoozer also makes a pillow without the tunnel portion so I ordered that one for my big dog. She loves her pillow. I have to carry it from room to room for her. I'll order another pillow she can have two. They arrived fairly quickly (after initially placing my order, I never got any email updates, though, regarding shipping). My beagles sniffed at them a bit at first. I threw a bunch of our unwashed laundry (gross, I know, but I read somewhere to do that with new beds and toys) on them for a few hours. Ellie, one of the beagles, is pretty easy going. I finally picked her up and laid her in one of the beds. She curled right up. Now, the only time she leaves her new bed is to eat, use the bathroom, or go for a walk. She LOVES it. Emmy, the other beagle, is a very suspicious dog. It took a couple of days before she would test it out but now she's hooked, too! Both girls love to curl up in small, warm, cozy places and these beds are perfect. The silvery grey color is gorgeous. This bed is the best quality I've ever had in a dog bed. I'm going to order two more for the bedroom soon. After years of of never being totally satisfied with the dog beds I've purchased, I can finally say I have found the perfect beds for Emmy &amp; Ellie. Yay! The way they were shipped seems impractical, two beds in one extremely large box. You really should consider using vaccume pack bags. This will drastically reduce the size of the beds temporarily, and allow you to ship many more products per box. We order beds from other manufacturers and this is how they do it. They did not say anything that some assembly was required. The assembly required me to insert each piece of foam (5 pieces) and putting them in the proper sequence in the micro-suede cover. No problem. The steps work and the dogs are extremely happy that they no longer need to use the wooden steps we had.
