"Buyers Beware!!! I wish I had read the reviews before buying from them. I ordered 4 bracelets to give at Christmas, but was very disappointed when they came- extremely cheap and tin looking- more like Dollar Store products. I returned them right after Christmas. They kept one and returned the other 3 saying they were not their products!!! When I emailed them about it, they said they were theirs, but now I was past the 30 day return date!! You've got to be kidding! And on top of that, the web site they sent me for discussing the situation with the manager doesn't work. This company is completely unscrupulous. Stay away from it and shop at the Dollar Store! "

"BEWARE, they will charge you for this smart shoppers program. I ordered 1 time and they have charged me for the past 2 years. I just caught it on my bank statement. I made them refund both years. "

"I was disappointed with the quality and condition of the product!!!!!!! I bought 3 shoes:
Charles by Charles David Skimpier Fuchsia Pump
Poetic License Pop Star Leather Pump
Steven by Steve Madden Grifin Peep-Toe Pump
They are all in different poor and crummy conditions! They do offer within-30-day refund, but you need to pay the shipping and handling fees ;("

"I don't know what happened to this store???? They used to be very good. I have been getting several ads per day, and finally decided to buy two pillows, free shipping any order. I ordered pillows and later I got an email saying "Thank you very much for shopping at SmartBargains.com. We are sorry to inform you that the product listed below has become unavailable, you order has been canceled". The product was still for sale weeks after my order.... I said ok, and ordered from somewhere else. Well, the actual reason they canceled my order was because they didn't want to stand behind their advertisement and ship it for free!!! Why send so many, sometimes 4-5 per day promotion emails if you don't want to give these promotions??? They emailed and asked me to pay for shipping, but this is not what got me, I got mad because they charged my credit card without even processing my order. Why? if you're not going to ship anything? I had to email and ask them to refund my money. It took a couple of weeks to get it back. Never again!"

"Delivery was fine but, I was disappointed with the quality and condition of the product. I ordered a king size duvet cover set, which I discovered was deliverd in torn condition. I also did not like the fabric very much, it was far mor inferior than shown on the website. I would think again before ordering anything from Smart Bargains :(( I am not impressed.

Just to add, the website you should never order from is LinenSource.com. They are super frauds."

"Great customer service. My first order showed up damaged (the dress was sent with a stain on the front!) and I immediately e-mailed them. Within 24 hours they responded with an apology, an immediate refund for the shipping cost, a free printable return label, and an offer to let me contact them with any further questions or comments. I returned the item and was refunded the total amount. I've never had such honest, fast, courteous service from an online company. My second shipment arrived in great condition and on time and I will definitely order from them in the future!"

"Let me just say this is the second time I have received horrible customer service from this store! I try to give second chances, but this was the second and last time.

I ordered something and they were offering 15% off and free shipping. Unfortunately, while in the process of checking out, something went out of stock, it alerted me and asked me if I would like to continue, I confirmed that I did, then it asked me to click the payment button.

Once I did this, I received a confirmation email and the discount had disappeared (which ended up being about $40)and I was charged $18 for shipping a couple shirts too!

I emailed them, sure that since I had spent well over $150 with them they would rectify the situation! NOPE. They said that since the items were on sale already that they could not give me any more of a discount.

BEWARE of their checkout system, it will rip you off, and worse, their customer service will not care!

Last time, they had a hidden enrollment in a $10 shipping discount club that I did not uncheck because IT WAS HIDDEN in the small print...what kind of legit company does that?!?

STAY AWAY FROM SMARTBARGAINS.COM!!!"

"This is an online retailer with poor merchandise quality and very poor customer services. I bought a pair of shoes and find it uncomfortable to wear. But I have to pay $10 to return it. What is worse, within a week, they sent me an email which lists the same shoes at $25 lower. I ask for refund of the difference based on the policy in their website. But they first deny the lower price. After I printed the email out and scanned a copy to them, they told me on sale items don't qualify for the price guarrantee. Their customer service people are dishonest and very poor quality. One has to waste a lot of time to communicate with them and at the end they still refuse to honor what clearly stated in their own site. I purchased a down blanket a few months ago, after the first wash, all the tiny, broken down pieces come out of the blanket like snow flakes. When I contacted them for the defective product, they refuse to do anything. In my experience, few online merchants are worse than smartbargains.com"

"THIS COMPANY IS FAR THE MOST DECEIVING COMPANY EVER I PLACED AN ORDER ON THERE EBAY SITE FOR A CHARISMA SHEETS AND PILLOW CASES I GET THE PACKAGE AFTER A WEEK AND SAW I ONLY GOT PILLOW CASE NO WHERE ON THERE IT SAID ITS ONLY PILLOW CASES IT SAID CLEARY SHEET&CASES AND SELECT SIZE THEY WILL TRICK YOU AND WHEN YOU ASK THEM TO CANCEL THE ORDER THEY IGNORE YOU FOR 2 DAYS THEN THEY TELL YOU ITS TO LATE IT SHIPPED TERRIBLE SERVICE WILL NOT SHOP HERE AGAIN!!!"

"Stay away from this store (scammer).

I saw an ad with extremely attractive price of a storage ($114)bench and 1000TC Egyptian cotton sheets ($67). I went on to place an order on Aug 4th. Order confirmed and promised to arrive at my house by Aug. 19th.

Aug. 20th, I received neither any shipment nor any type of communication in regard to my order. I emailed customser service and they said one of the items I order was not in good quality and they could not ship a subpar product to a customer. Woah...how nice of them. So when will my order be fulfilled? I asked. They came back and said it was not because the subpar items, but my credit card company declined.

I was paying by PayPal with multiple payment methods in case one didn't work. I contacted PayPal. PayPal came back and confirmed SmartBargains had cancelled the transaction. I provided SmartBargains the email from PayPal. This time, the rep told me another bogus excuse. She told me an Authorization hold was put on the funds and drop after 3-5 days.

I had enough reasons not to do business with this scammer. From what I see, they put on bogus ads to attract customers. When you order something on their site, they will find ways to charge on your credit card with unexpected charges like other customers have complained on ResellerRatings. If they can't charge you those extra things, they cancel your orders. I am glad that I used PayPal. I think PayPal had prevented this scammer sucking money out off my credit cards."
