The price was great - and so was the computer.<br><br>I honestly couldn\u0027t tell that it was a refurb. Everything about it had the Apple \u0022out-of-the-box\u0022 feeling. The folks at Small Dog made me a very happy customer.<br><br>As a bonus, I rated an external firewire drive on their site (that I had the misfortune of purchasing from another vendor). I rated the drive poorly, because quite frankly it wasn\u0027t working very well for me. I was contacted by Small Dog customer service - they passed along to me a contact from the drive manufacturer. The manufacturer\u0027s rep was actually waiting for my e-mail and made things right with a replacement drive!<br><br>Now that is customer service. The good folks at Small Dog made things right for an item I purchased from another vendor! Before and after the sale.<br><br>I have purchased 3 Macs from Small Dog in the last 2 years and am completely satisfied.<br><br>But, the true test of a company is when something goes wrong.<br><br>I ordered a brand new iMac and someone\u0027s fingers slipped and the wrong computer was shipped to me. The two machines were almost identical, but not quite. These things happen. I called my sales rep and he said: \u0022My fault. We will overnight a new iMac to you.\u0022 They did. It arrived 26 hours later. They also included a return label and UPS will pick up the wrong iMac this afternoon.<br><br>This is great customer service.<br><br><br>Novemer 2005.<br><br>Excellent.<br>I ordered two (2) AppleCare items and they arrived very quickly.<br>I then realized that I was an idiot as the time limit had expired on one of my iMac. Therefore, I had the pleasure of doing an RMA.<br>It was so easy. "As ususal, I was happy to see the staff again. They were very helpful again with technical questions my Son (visiting from Illinois) and I had about his eMac and my G4. They sold us RAM and a minimouse (a gift for a friend) at fair market prices. I value having a Macintosh mecca in the northwoods of VT, I buy all my Macs from them. The G5 will be next... my Son and I are negotiating over who gets it. The values of haveing a small business in VT that offers the quality and expertise they do is PRICELESS!
