I made an online order with SKINCARERX on the 25th Dec 2007. using overnight shipping which cost me extra of US$32.00 and my total bill was US$668.35.I am an Indonesian resident and will be in LA California until 3rd January 2008 (this is my reason to order overnight delivery)my credit card billing address in Indonesia & the delivery address (using same Name)to my hotel in Beverly Hills (since I am using the overnight delivery, so I am confident that the goods will arrive before my departure on 3rd January 2008)on the 27/12/07 I called to the SkincareRX to verified my order & explain everything & at the same time asking about the arrival of my order, get an answer that "its a holiday season and all the courier company was closed and I should receive it in the 2 days later"
On the 30th Dec 2007 I still haven't receive the order. I made another call to the SKINCARE RX on the 30th/12/07 & have a voice msg saying that "we are closed for a holiday" on the 2nd/01/08 I finally received an e-mail from SkincareRX (Sandy) saying that "in order to prevent a fraud they need to verify my details again” so my order with invoice no 16693622 actually hasn't been processed and hasn't been sent.(I fail to understand her reason since I already made a call on the 27th/12/07 and she's already answer that the goods will be sent to me).After reading this e-mail, I called Sandy at 877-682-3553 x1005. She explained like in her e-mail; I asked WHY didn't you tell me during my phone call on the 27th/12? She could not give me any answer for that. She said that she had email me on the 27th, which I never receive (surprisingly the email on the 2nd/01/08 was received).She also said that they never charge me for the overnight shipping. However, since I will be leaving for my country on the 3rd/01/08 I am afraid that it will be too late to send the product to me. I told Sandy; I have no other choice but to cancel my order. Sandy still want to try to send the goods to me but I am afraid, because I will be departing on d 3rd/01/08, the goods will not arrive on time. To cancel my order Sandy forwarded me to Debbie, Debbie said that "she need to find out whether the goods has been sent or not! (What??? how can she not know, can't she see on the computer about the customer status?)she put me on hold for 5 min & the phone cut off, I called back but is always a voice msg from Debbie, I called again and speaking to a different person; Trisha. Trisha finally canceled my order. I asked Trisha "how long can I receive back the funds on my credit card" & she said that "NORMALLY before the goods are sent, they will NOT charge anything into the credit card" I told her I think you already charge my credit card & Trisha said she didn't think so, it is most likely not but in a case if they debit the credit card; the amount will be transfer back within 10 -15 days. I feel relieved after speaking with Trisha, because the SKINCARERX haven't billed me with anything, & also Sandy told me the same since they still need to investigate whether the order is genuine After speaking with Trisha, I made a call to my bank and I am very shock to find out that SKINCARERX actually already debit the amount of $668.35 (which include the overnight shipping US$32.00) on the 27th/12/07. I believe that must be after my phone called to the SKINCARERX on the 27th/12/07 to verified my order, then they debit the funds from my credit card. To view this experience, I was basically being misled and totally lied to from the 1st phone called with Sandy (since she said that they will not charge me with the over night shipping & haven't charge anything on my card since they need to make sure it is not a fraud)) and 2nd phone call with Trisha when she told me that they normally wont charge my credit card before the goods are sent to me! I am very disappointed the service of the SKINCARERX!!! I don’t know what to do and I don't think anyone deserve this kind of treatment!!!
