"Upon receipt of the item I contacted 6ave.com customer service via email to request return information as I had ordered the wrong item. I agreed to pay the 15% restocking fee. After a follow-up email on 4/14 they responded on 4/15 with a toll-free number to call as they do not process RMAs over email. I called on 4/20 and they refused return stating it was past their 14-day return policy. Even after explaining that their customer service didn't respond for 10 of those days they still refused the return. I filed a complaint with the New Jersey BBB requesting arbitration."

"Ordered a Panasonic camcorder based on the lowest online price I was able to find. Received call next day from pushy salesperson looking to "verify my credit card information"? No, he was really looking to upsell me on accessories and/or extended warrantees - No thanks! Several days later, before the item was shipped, I unfortunately needed to cancel this order but I was told I could not do so at this point. I was instructed by 6Ave to refuse delivery, which I did. After 30 days and numerous calls I still did not have my refund since my credit card was already charged. The people I spoke to had no clue as to what was going on or why processing my refund was taking so long. I was even told by a not so friendly "supervisor" that the issue would be resolved in a few days which of course it was not. I had proof that the item delivery was refused and received back by them at their warehouse so I decided to take matters into my own hands and I filed a dispute with my credit card company. I was issued a conditional credit for the full amount. I just received word from my credit card company that they completed their investigation, found in my favor and that the credit they issued me will become permanent. I've made 100's of online purchases in my life and this experience was the ABSOLUTE WORST ever. I will not consider doing business at this place ever again."

"I recently ordered a 67" Samsung HL67A750 rear projection television set. Ordering from 6th Avenue was easy and I found the site easy to navigate an understand. The order confirmation was quick as was the processing and shipping. I ended up having a minor issue with shipping, however, it was not directly the fault 6th Ave and further they resolved the issue by refunding the cost of my white glove shipping upgrade. The television arrived in pretty good shape, although there is a minor issue with the edge bezel where it looks like is separated from the screen in one spot. Again I do not fault this to 6th Ave and attribute it to the tv quality and/or ease to ship something of this size. I would definately recommend 6th Ave to anyone interested in ordering electonic products. They were quick, responsive when I needed them to be and easy to buy from. I will definately check their site the next time I am looking to purchase electronics."

"I had a difficult time dealing with 6th Ave Electronics. They had good deals, but my order got cancelled 2-3 times before I was actually able to go through. Then, the shipping process wasn't smooth either. Team Worldwide kept telling me that my package was going to arrive in my area "tomorrow" for almost two weeks. 6th Ave should use a better logistics company. My package is set to arrive today, about three weeks after I ordered."

"This merchant listed a Toshiba HDA1 for 367.00 w/ .06 shipping. I ordered- after a week of no confirmation I called the 800# (which is nice) and got right through. The gentleman said it would ship this week. I got a email on 11/21 saying that the item had been "OVERSOLD" and they would not be getting any more in. The website has a new IN STOCK price of 394.00! They made me wait almost two weeks for my order and would not honor thier prices. No appology when I pointed out they still had it listed. I think thier ratings are "OVERSOLD"- I buy online everyday- this is bad business."

"Good price, but that is pretty much where the compliments end on this purchase. After UPS lost my package and it arrived late it worked fine for 3 days, then the picture became dull, soft, almost ghostly. But since its a 40 inch TV 6ave wont replace it or let me return it. Great company that sells you a lemon and tells you to enjoy the lemonade b/c you didnt read the fine print. Never again with this company!"

"This is my first purchase "venture" with 6ave. Like most online customers, I always read reviews on resellerratings for an online merchant before purchasing anything from them. Here is my experience so far with 6ave:

June 22, 2009 - Inquired about Product in stock and Order receive date (between July 2, 2009 and July 10, 2009).
June 23, 2009 - Order Placed after reading mostly good reviews (very few bad reviews).
June 24, 2009 - Noticed that "ships in 7-10 business days" does not seem to change on their product page. Upon inquiring with customer support they gave a response: they are just posting ETA based on whatever information they get from the manufacturer (Panasonic) and they really can't guarantee when they will be able to ship the product out. This really means that they are OUT OF STOCK - BACK LOGGED on this TV and will still keep stating "Ships in 7-10 business days" on their site every day which is a LIE. (My worst fear of falling for the online TRAP of Backlog and OUT OF STOCK product seems to have come true!)

June 24, 2009 (12:30 pm PST) - One of the support person from 6ave calls at my home informing that there is some misunderstanding and that product is in stock but just needs to be picked up from one of their retail location and that normally happens in 1-2 days, the reason why they keep 7-10 days to ship notice on the product page

June 24, 2009 (2:30 pm PST) - I receive an email response to my order status inquiry as seen below:

"I have not recieved my order yet. Shipping was supposed to be 5-7 days from the day it was shipped and it has been 14 so far. When I tracked the order online it tells me to call a phone number to get tracking info instead of giving me the info online...what's the point of online tracking? 5 days after I recieved the email that stated "your order has been shipped" (5-7 day shipping) I called to track it and was told that the order was still sitting on their dock and had NOT been shipped yet because of the holiday. I understand the holiday delay, but don't tell me that it has been shipped if it has not. The shipping company called me yesterday (day 13) to schedule a delivery and told me they could not deliver it until day 20 of my 5-7 day shipping. I asked if I could drive 20 miles and pick it up at the warehouse it was sitting at and they said no, I would have to wait 7 more days until they could get around to delivering it. I am very disappointed with the delivery of my order and cannot yet tell you if I like the merchandise for another 6 days when I recieve it. If I had been told it would be 20 day delivery up front, I would be very happy now. "

"Following a two week wait, my TV is finally set for delivery!

Calls to the shippers finally yielded results.

I'm not too impressed in the delivery company used, but 6Ave have been surprisingly responsive.

Hopefully all will be well once it arrives!

Update: Well worth the wait - gorgeous TV - great price - thanks 6ave.

Advice: Call 6ave if there is a delay, not the shippers! And 6ave DO read these reviews."

"I ordered a Camera on a Tuesday, it was shipped on Wednesday and I received it on Friday. Better yet - their price was the best I found. "
