I usually place my orders on-line, but needed additional assistance with my product. The customer service rep was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and not to mention pleasant to speak with. 6ave has one of the quickest shippings. I got our new TV within a week, free of shipping charges, and it was in perfect condition. We are now enjoying our new 50" Panasonic P50SI every day and will always order from 6ave. I tell all my friends about 6ave.com since they have such wonderful service and great prices.
We also bought another flatscreen on-line a couple of years ago from them and we've had no problems.
They truly stand behind all commitments and services, and go that extra mile for their customers.

VERY DISSATISFIED !!!!!
bought a camcorder for my husband for fathers day. well, he doesn't want it. guess what. i CANT RETURN it. only exchange for a similar item. well if he doesn't want it he certainly doesn't want another brand. i bought it in the store. but 6thave.com doesn't have the same return policy. certainly won't buy ANYTHING from you again. They also HAVE NOT responded to emails or phone calls yet and today is the 10th day for exchanges. i've never had such bad customer service ever. THEY WON'T EVEN OFFER A STORE CREDIT. I ordered a home theater unit in the fall, and yesterday I ordered a DVD player. I have also called previously to ask questions about products. Kevin S waited on me initially, and I always ask for him when I call. Kevin is exceptionally knowledgeable about products, and he impresses me as an honest and sincere person. It's my opinion that he always gives me the best recommendations for my needs, and also those that are within my financial means. My dealings with 6th Ave Electronics, the store, i.e. shipping, packaging, etc., have been excellent. I was hesitant about ordering these kind of items on line previously. However, I really think that it's Kevin's knowledge and his personal manner that are responsible for my high praise of 6th Ave Electronics.

This is my first purchase "venture" with 6ave. Like most online customers, I always read reviews on resellerratings for an online merchant before purchasing anything from them. Here is my experience so far with 6ave:

June 22, 2009 - Inquired about Product in stock and Order receive date (between July 2, 2009 and July 10, 2009).
June 23, 2009 - Order Placed after reading mostly good reviews (very few bad reviews).
June 24, 2009 - Noticed that "ships in 7-10 business days" does not seem to change on their product page. Upon inquiring with customer support they gave a response: they are just posting ETA based on whatever information they get from the manufacturer (Panasonic) and they really can't guarantee when they will be able to ship the product out. This really means that they are OUT OF STOCK - BACK LOGGED on this TV and will still keep stating "Ships in 7-10 business days" on their site every day which is a LIE. (My worst fear of falling for the online TRAP of Backlog and OUT OF STOCK product seems to have come true!)
June 24, 2009 (12:30 pm PST) - One of the support person from 6ave calls at my home informing that there is some misunderstanding and that product is in stock but just needs to be picked up from one of their retail location and that normally happens in 1-2 days, the reason why they keep 7-10 days to ship notice on the product page
June 24, 2009 (2:30 pm PST) - I receive an email response to my order status inquiry as seen below:

This is the BEST online TV transaction I've had from ANY company to date!!! (And I have bought from many online companies)
I bought a big-screen 50" TV on Sunday 6/14, and it was delivered on Wednesday 6/17! Amazingly fast shipping, and AWESOME TV! Works perfectly, and best price I could find! Thank you so much 6th Ave!

6th Avenue rocks! I purchased a complete Klipsch Reference 5.1 home theater setup as follows:
RF 83 fronts, RC62 Center, RW12d sub, and RS 52 surrounds on sale. Their prices could not be matched by any other authorized Klipsch dealer. I auditioned many other speaker brands in several mid-to-upper price range. For my mid-sized room, these were the best. Ordered them from 6th Avenue and 3 days later they were sitting in my home theater. Thanks 6th Avenue!!!

Great item; it will display better if professionally installed which I did at Best Buy, but it also detaches and it becomes mobile. It works well once you learn how to use it but don't try to learn while you are driving.I will buy again from this merchant and am pleased with the order, the delivery was quick and emails kept me updated about the time frame. Just great to order on line instead of shopping around tirelessly and aimlessly! I had one local merchant quote me a price w/o installation of over $700. So shop around! I bought a Panasonic P50V10 television, Panasonic Home Theatre in a Box (SC-BT300), and a Bell'O mount for the TV.
The television is awesome - great picture, very attractive, easy to set up.
The home theatre was fairly easy to set up and is fairly good quality. My only complaint is the limited number of input ports, making it hard to stream all of my audio through it.
I did have a major problem with the stand however. Before I made the purchase, I spoke with a 6ave "expert" to make sure it was compatible with my television. However, when I finished the assembly, I discovered that the placement of the brackets ran across the plug-in for the power cord, and it was impossible to have the brackets on and the tv plugged in at the same time. I spoke to customer service about returning the item, but they said they only accepted returns with the manufacturers original packaging, which I had had to cut open with a box cutter just to get to the item in the first place. They promised to have a manager call me, but instead I only received a curt e-mail from someone informing me that the managers had said no. Considering the amount of money I had just spent with this company, and the fact that I had specifically asked about compatibility before I made the purchase, I am still very upset about the matter. While my big ticket items were quite nice and a very reasonable price, I would hesitate to recommend 6ave to anyone concerned about customer service.

purchased a Panasonic blu ray player, BD60. Service was great. The player shipped the next day, arrived as scheduled, and worked as expected. :) The manual firmware update took several minutes but finally completed. Blu rays disks seem to start in about 15 seconds, which is fast enough.

My purchase at Sixth Avenue Electronics was very positive. I purchased 1(Pair)Paradigm Millenia 300 Floor Standing Speaker and 1(Each) Paradigm Millenia 30 LCR On Wall Or Bookshelf Speaker. Very high quality speakers at a fair price. I had some questions, so called Sixth Avenue Electronics, their technical people are very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Their web-site was easy to navigate and the shipping was very fast. I would recommend this merchant and I will purchase from them in the future.

Competitively priced LG BD370 with free ground delivery. Item received in new working condition after 5 business days from order placement. Tracking info provided as well as historical purchases. Some people might find it an issue that 6ave charges the credit card even before the product is received.

My first order went through smoothly, thank god. But my second order for a TV stand has been horrible. I placed the order June 6th. When I ordered the TV stand it showed 1-3 days in stock, then a week later it showed 7-10 days in stock. Three days ago it showed 1-3 days in stock, and now it shows 7-10 days in stock. I called customer service and they said there's nothing I could do about it and it will ship on Monday at the latest.
