"Their signal is so weak that I was unable to call from inside my home or workplace. I complained and they told me that they showed 3-bars at my residence. I assured them that I had none. They sent an engineer out to measure the signal,I guess, but he said it needed upgrading and he had no idea when it would happen. Meanwhile, my 14-day buyers remorse period had elapsed, so when I finally switched to a carrier with a good signal,(Verizon), Simply Wireless wanted their early termination fee of $200 per line. They were (are) indifferent to the fact that I was unable to use my phones in the most important locations I had. They do not care that I was mis-led as to the service I would receive. It took them so long to respond to my complaints that I was well past the remorse period, and they are saying that they have no my record of my complaining before that remorse period expired. All they can do is point the the agreement that I signed without being given the time to read it, and say that no-one gets out of their contract without paying the price--no matter the circumstances. Anyone considering doing business with this company BEWARE! They lie and then swear to it! There is only black and white, and it IS written in stone."
"I bought 3 phones from this company, thinking I was going to get them all for free. At least according to their website, if I submitted the rebates I was set. However, after mailing in my rebates, it turns out only one phone per family plan was gonna get the rebate. That was not what I saw on the website when I ordered, I even asked the guy on the phone, and he said all three would be free. I do not recommend this store, and I suggest everyone avoid it at all costs. No matter what price they say, they will get you."
"Beware of Simply Wireless and SimplyCells.com.I bought two Motorola Razr's with a Cingular family plan from this merchant because of their rebates. I, then, dutifully submitted my three, six and nine month rebate forms. But I have not received a single rebate check. So, finally, I called their rebate department to find out what is going on and those girls tell me that my three month rebate was declined because I didn't submit my Cingular bill. But I DID submit my Cingular bill! Besides, they can easily verify that I am still a Cingular customer! This seems like a con game to me.Beware and don't let them Simply Scam / SimplyScam.com you!"
"In July 2005, I purchased 2 Motorola RAZR phones and signed up with Cingular via the SimplyWireless Internet site. I was pleased with the ease of ordering, the speed of receiving the product and the paperwork included with the phones. However, I purchased the phones based on the advertised "rebate" that would essentially make the phones "free" once the rebate was received. Unbeknownst to me when I purchased the phones that the rebate process was in 3 stages: 3 months, 6 months, and 9 months. Not only that, but SimplyWireless farms out their rebate processing to a company called Continental Promotions Group. SimplyWireless washes their hands of any problems you have in getting your rebate. I had no problem in receiving my 3 month rebate check but the 6 and 9 month rebate process has been a challenge to say the least. It has involved my contacting the Better Business Bureau in Arizona several times, as well as numerous e-mails back and forth to BBB and Continental Promotions Group. The bottom line: if you don't like following up and badgering companies for adequate customer service, don't buy anything that advertises a "rebate". Companies hope that you won't go through all the hassle of collecting/photocopying receipts, reading the fine print and sending in forms, and then following up. I would suspect that 9 times out of 10, consumers don't jump through all the hoops necessary to get their rebates, which is highly beneficial to the companies selling the products. Be an educated consumer and do your homework before you buy a product."
"there customer service is so slow. where do i start, they dont ship fridays-sunday, so dont think about ordering even close to friday. they shipped my phone to the wrong location, i recieved it damaged, they required that i send them my phone before they would send me a replacement, its been a week, and i still have not recieved my replacement. i paid 30 dollars to overnight my blackberry to them. they recieved it friday before noon. it was not shipped to me till tuesday the next week. and i still have not recieved it. ive never had a phone or any other electronic company for that matter ask you to ship to them first. its just ridiculous...ive been without emails, which go straight to my blackberry, and a phone for a week now, ive lost an additional 30 dollars, and countless hours of being on hold with customer service reps, and business due to lack of no phone. if you care about customer service, these are not the people to deal with. "
