"Where are these "good reviews" from? Who wrote these "good reviews"? These are the questions you would NATURALLY ask if you had any direct experience with them. My experience is so bad that I could not even put it to words. The product is neither new nor the same as ordered. The man play the "bait and switch" to the bone. The Better Business Bureau web site is right about this joint. It has many names too. You have to be stupid to order anything from them. "

"This company is definitely a SCAM and should be shut down. Same story as others - placed order for Sharp 42" LCD TV via internet, received email to call & verify order, asked to purchase extended warranty since SHARP only offers 90 day warranty (not true, it's a year), was told I would receive email information/confirmation, never received. Sent email cancelling order and notified my credit card company of fraud. "

"Consumer be warned. I contacted this company via phone to purchase a 52' lcd TV.
I paid for express shipping and waited for my confirmation email. This company never ever emails you or returns phone calls unless you are purchasing something.

The TV arrived on time and was damaged (the tv had been repackaged poorly and was not factory sealed). This should tell you that they sell refurbished products without advertising or informing the customer that they are refurbished. I refused the shipment due to damage and called customer service.

I had to call several times to finally get the manager Henry on the phone (also the same person who took my order) and he informed me that a new tv would be shipped to me. At that time, he attempted to have me pay for insurance on the replacement tv (does this sound legitimate to you?). I refused and after some more on hold time he gets back on the phone and says its waived and going to be shipped.

The TV arrived again repackaged and not factory sealed but seemed to be undamaged. It did look different though, so I checked the model and serial number and what do you know, its a smaller tv than what I ordered (which happens to retail for 700.00 less than the one I ordered). I refused the shipment again and got on the phone.

First, I spoke with Sara informing her I would like a refund. She told me Henry was off for the day and told me she would contact me back after speaking with him. I informed her that I would contact her back at my convenience. When I called back, I spoke with someone else who said Henry would be in later that day and would call me back. Imagine my surprise when he never did.

I called Henry as soon as I could the next business day and asked to cancel my order and get a refund of my funds. He told me that I would have to wait 6-8 weeks bare mininum and that his company would have to file a claim on my behalf with the trucking insurance and some other insurance company and I would have to wait on those claims before I could get any kind of refund. What kind of genuine business would make any customer wait weeks/months for a refund? I was livid so rather than yell and argue, I politely got off the phone.

I called back a little later after calming down, and reaffirmed to Henry that I wished to cancel and refund my account. He told me that if I let him ship another tv to me (a third time) and anything was wrong with that shipment, he would refund me immediately. This leads me to believe that an immediate refund is available now. I informed him that I wanted to cancel and before he could again add to this story I excused myself from the conversation.

This should paint a picture for potential customers of any of these companies. If you need further documentation on these companies, check out what the NY BBB has to say about them. It isnt pretty. I plan on fighting this as vigilant as I can until a proper resolution has been reached."

"AVOID THESE MERCHANTS!!!!! There are many statements about this group of companies accepting an order only to require a call-in 'verification' to sell unnecessary items with a higher profit margin as part of the order. If you refuse to buy the garbage, they will 'back order' your item indefinitely. I don't why why this behavior is not illegal in the state of New York, but it should be. We can now add their gaming of froogle.com to the list of offenses. On 3/26/09 their rating here (reseller ratings) is 2.7/10, on froogle it's 4.5/5. How can this be? They appear to have a great many minions."

"I put in an order with Shop Digital Online for a Canon Digital Rebel. Their website said it was in stock. A few minutes after putting in the order, I got a call from them saying it was out of stock and if I was willing to wait 16 days before it can be shipped. I checked with other stores and it was also out of stock so I decided it was ok to wait. Two weeks later it still has not shipped and now they say it won't be available for another 14 days!!! No thanks. I cancelled my order."

"Don't bother. Just another sophmorish example of "deceitful" pricing. As always with the "fly by nights" you get an email to call and "verify" your credit card data and when you don't need the accessories or extended warranty, you get a "just a minute don't hang up yet...there will be a mandatory insurance charge on your order of 7% you need to authorize"."

"Placed an order for a sharp LC-65D64U by using the website. I checked the next day to see if the order was processed and it had not been yet, so I called to see what the problem was and was informed that they process thousands of orders a day and would get to mine in the next couple of days. After it was to be processed i was informed that it would take another 2 weeks for the tv to arrive at it destination unless I paid express shipping. So it takes two weeks to go from NY to Norfolk,VA. Stay away from these people, nothing they say makes any sense in the real world...."

"One of the reviewers wrote: "The only thing negative I can say is that they did not tell me right away what the shipping cost was going to be".
This exactly my experience with this vendor. I ended up paying hundreds of dollars more because they did not tell me the total cost. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. Buyers beware."

"I ordered a Sharp Aquos LC52D65U Television from this company around July 15th of this year. One week later, the television arrived. Everything seemed to be in working condition. As I was plugging components into the TV, I noticed that the part number was actually an LC5255U, different than the one I ordered. I checked the shipping manifest and the website, and the 55U was nowhere to be found on their site. According to the shipping manifest, I had an LC52D65U.

When I called them to rectify the situation, they first explained that the 55U was the same as the 65U. Anticipating this, I had the specifications of both televisions up and explains that they were NOT in fact the same. The sales rep then offered to give me a $50 discount, which I declined. He then stated that they could exchange the television for the proper model. I was put on hold, and he then came back and told me that there were none in stock and offered a $100 discount. I told him I wanted a refund.

I was put on hold again and then the manager, Henry, spoke with me. He also tried to tell me that the two models were the same. I explained that they weren't. He then told me that he bought a bunch of 65U's from Sharp, and they sent him a Walmart version, the 55U. I told him that I didn't care. I ordered a 65U and I wanted a 65U. He then offered me a $200 discount, which I declined. He stated my only option was a refund, which I accepted.

I was put on hold, and the sales rep answered, stating that some 65U's would be in in 10 to 12 business days. I agreed to wait for the 65U to arrive. It has been 15 business days, and no television is in stock. I have now asked for a refund. I believe that they have no intention of rectifying this situation. To make matters worse, I had a friend call and inquire as to the availability of the 65U (which they show as being in stock on their Web site), and they told him that they had some in stock. It was only after he mentioned that he knew that there were "different models" of the 65U that they told him he would be receiving a 55U. When he asked again about the 65U, they said it would be in stock in 10 to 12 business days. Sound familiar? They also added $125 of insurance to the price after the fact and charged me $50 for the stand and remote even though it was listed in the description of the item on their site.

It is my assertion that this retailer is trying to get rid of some Wal-Mart TV's and advertising them falsely. What's more, I am out $426 in shipping (on which, I suspect they're making a profit). I think that a company like this should not be allowed to conduct business in such a manner."

"I ordered a 55" Sony TV from them on Black Friday and they stated it would ship within 24-48 hours...Not even! I called them everday for a week with an explanation of "be patient we are back logged"..Very rude with no care of my complaint going up the line. Cancel the order was their only response without explanation. I finally (after 3 weeks) was put in touch with a supervisor (Henry)with no response other than its on backorder at Sony. He said they are so swamped they are not doing the black friday thing again. I say they should get out of the business altogether! They are terrible, and your crazy if you try to do business with them!"
