"I bought a pair of deer stagg men's shoes from Shoe buy that lasted less than 6 months. The soles of the shoes cracked and allowed water to seep into the shoes. Shoebuy called this "normal wear and tear" on a form and refused to replace them. I'd never buy from them letter again. I asked to be contacted by a manager, but they ignored me."

"Placed order online for a Johnston and Murphy zipped travel case on Sunday evening. The product was drop shipped from Johnston and Murphy and arrived Wednesday morning.

Shoebuy.com offered a 20% discount no other retailer offered for Johnston and Murphy products. Shoebuy.com offered free shipping. Overall this product ended up costing 28% less than the nearest competitor's price.

In my experience the retailer proved fast and proficient. I did not contact the retailer since the product quickly arrived. No refunds or exchanges were needed because I ordered the appropriate product."

"I purchased winter boots by TOE WARMERS made in Canada,and they are warm and wide enough for a change. I have a hard time purchasing shoes and boots be cause my feet are extra wide. The boots I purchased were a 9.5ww. the number in the boots is TO8665 and I would recomend them to people with a high instep and xx wide feet. Marg Kaufman"

"i bought 3 pair of boots it all seems fine, and the credit got through and all.
but then they email me to ask me to phone the possessing department with no clear reason, since i'm not in us area, so i email and also make inquiries via customer service, got NO REPLY at all.
so finally, i phone them, and no one picks up, what a total waste of my time and money.
i ask my friend to phone the free line and still no one answers.
then my order just got cancelled.
i mean WTF??
and my friend call them again, still no one picks up.
i just hope they didn't just rob me..."

"Somehow shoebuy.com snuck in a $12.99 / month charge to greatfunsite.com.
Over the last nearly three years at least they have charged me at least 34 * 12.99 = 441.66
I never agreed to this charge, and they have no material evidence (e.g., time-stamped and signed agreement, or whatever) that I agreed to this alleged service or charge.
Google: "+shoebuy.com +scam greatfunsite" and see the hundreds of cases where Shoebuy.com has without buyer knowledge "opted-in" them to greatfunsite charge of $12.99. This is a nationwide scam that has been preying on unsuspecting online buyers at many more sites beyond shoebuy.com (please Google to see.). They must be collecting an appreciable of money from this scam.

"I never write negative reviews but I just HAD to get my opinion out there on this one. I am so disappointed in the shoebuy return policy and customer service. After ordering some uggs in the smaller size that their website recommends I tried them on at home and realized they were way too small and painful to wear so I promptly sent them back only to get them returned 3 weeks later with a note stating they could not be exchanged for another size because they were worn. I called to explain that they were not "worn" but only tried on to determine the fit at home. After calling multiple times, waiting on hold for long periods of time, being "promised" a call back from the supervisor, then finally the manager I was treated EXTREMELY rudely by Laurie (manager) who was completely unhelpful. I thought paying nearly $200 for a pair of boots would get me some sort of customer satisfaction but clearly there is none. I am now stuck with boots that are too small. I will NEVER use shoebuy or its sister-site cozyboots! They are horrible!!!! I will only make my future purchases at retail stores that offer reasonable return policies, not fake ones!"

"The company has all correct information about my address and still they had enough intelligence to send the order to the wrong zip, wrong city. Just need to say that in order to look up an order on the site, you need to enter shipping zip code. I enter order number, zip code, enter the order status page and see that it was shipped to another zip code. What a dumbass company. "

"This is a horrible online store. They care nothing about there customers. They only care about making money. I ordered two pairs of a shoe I have worn for years in a size 7.5 W. The shoes they sent me may have been marked Wide, but they were not. I wore them one day for about two hours. After I crawled home because these shoe hurt so badly, I called customer service. First, they would only send me one return shipping label, even though the shoes came shipped separately. I had to find a box to fit both shoeboxes. Then, after about a week I am only refunded for the pair I had never worn. Some miscellaneous person in the recieving department looked and the defective shoes and decided they didn't look defective to them. Whatever, this company is all about keeping your money. They don't care that they are shipping out defective merchandise. STAY AWAY!!! DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!! Use Zappos, they are always helpful with returns and they are faster at getting your merchandise to you."

"I purchased two pairs of Haflinger slippers in Dec 2010 @ $70 each. A decent sum for slippers, but I thought, "hey, they'll last forever!" Famous last words. After 3, 4 months they started coming apart. I sent them for a return, and they sent them back saying that they were not a manu. defect. Wow, I have never had a company refuse to take back a clearly defective item. I have been trying to follow up and get a response ever since, and finally after banging my head against a wall and endless haranguing, they credited me for one of the shoes. They made be feel guilty about it and never acknowledged that I could actually be right about these shoddy slippers that are now virtually unwearable. Ridiculous. And yes, if I recall, there were some weird shipping issues that I have never previously experienced with other companies."
