"HORRIBLE SERVICE

I ordered on WEDNESDAY, they didnt want to ship until monday of the following week. Don't bother wasting your time with this company.

You know whats funny aswell. They publish there phone numbers on there site, YET. The 888 number is NEVER answered, the 718 is always busy.

I got ahold of another number from an email one of there employies sent me, and they picked up once and then never again. Very unprofessional.

Stick with newegg.com

If my refund is not recieved with 24hours, i'll be disputing the charge by paypal AND reporting this to the BBB."

“Aimen,

Yes, your order was submited Wed Mar 29 00:25:44 EDT 2006. But due to your payment via paypal was unconfirm address. Therefore, it takes us longger times to processed your request.
In addition, you are paying "ground" shipping and your order was delivered Thursday Apr 06, 2006 it is reasonable on 5-7 day ground delivery time.

Please note: Refund will not be given without product returned to us.

"I purchased a new retail video card; they shipped me a used card of a different brand. They accepted my return, but I had to struggle to get a refund."

"I ordered a usb to ide adapter to use it with my hard drive. As the picture and the description say, but I received totaly different product, so cheap I just wished I didn't order from this store. I rate this store minus 2. I will not buy anything from this seller and I advice anyone to do the same. "

"I ordered the low profile rear window for by Chenbro RM214 2U server case.
Apparently the product they shipped to me does not work with my case at all because none of the holes are aligned. It seems the product is made by third party based on its workmanship and lack of any markings or accompanied printed material (no packaging either except a plastic wrap). But their ad specifically said it's compatible with my server. I had to return it and pay the shipping and 15% restocking fee etc."

"Let me add to the negative reviews for Shentech, although my experience was not as bad as some of the others listed.

(Also I just noticed that they are no longer associated with Yahoo, so my feedback there has been lost to the world.)

I bought an AC adapter for my Acer Tablet PC. The first one that arrived was defective, causing my computer to shut down immediately. After some extended discussion, they agreed to exchange it, and promised to test the next one before sending it (I thought it might just be a bad lot).

The next one didn't work either, although it wouldn't shut down my computer immediately - just caused it to become unstable. Then Shentech made all sorts of comments about had I represented the computer I was using correctly, etc.

Eventually they accepted the adapter and refunded the purchase price, but kept all the shipping fees and didn't reimburse me for my return shipping expense, either.

Soon afterwards, they changed their website to remove the reference to my notebook model from the listing for the adapter I had ordered. When I received an adapter from another company, it was a similar but different model by the same manufacturer. In other words, Shentech had misrepresented the adapter on their website - the entire mess was entirely their fault.

No apology, no refund of shipping fees. But to their credit they did respond to communications within 1-3 days and always acted on their word. So on a scale of 1-5, I'd give them a 2."

"UPDATE: Nov. 30, 2007 - IBM sues Shentech for selling counterfit batteries. Read story:

http://www.engadget.com/2007/11/30/ibm-sues-shentech-for-selling-volatile-counterfeit-batteries/

I ordered what I thought was a genuine Lenovo replacement battery. It turned out to be counterfeit. It had all the right stickers that said it was made by IBM except for the serial number. My computer immediately detected that it was not genuine.

Upon first contacting Shentech I was told that I would have to eat up the shipping costs and the 15% restocking fee. When I threatened to bring a lawsuit for selling counterfit goods and false advertising I immediately got full credit and free return shipping.

Bottom line, do not buy anything from this seller. They will do all they can to take advantage of you. I would pursue a claim against them in court if I had more time.

"Purchased replacement batteries for Samsung VX3200 phones [LGIP-A1000E's]. Confirmation and shipping were prompt. When received they looked similar enough at first glance, but the phone refused to use the battery. Upon closer [side by side] inspection they were obviously counterfeit.

LG makes sure you can only use real LG batteries.. . Which is obnoxious- but not as obnoxious as selling counterfeit batteries you know won't ever work."

"Under Investigation. The Shentech mailed device that I had made a bad echo with whomever I talked to on any phone. The Jabra JX10 that I received from www.shentech.com is an illegal copy. I know this because when I talked to the Jabra Customer Service (800) 327-2230 & they told me that I had a fraud because their OEM product have; 1-An OEM number under the rubber ear piece around the speaker and 2-The status light is opaque, with a clear glass being an illegal copy-cat. Jabra is working to put out a notice about this as well as working with the police. "

"Bought the "Visiontek Xtasy Radeon 9100 Pro Video Card", got the confirmation email saying they charged my credit card. I check on my order later and find out they canceled it without any notice. Didn't send me a order cancelation email or anything. I check on their website to see that the price on the card was raised. Very bad business practice in my book. Will not buy from this seller ever again.

Edit 4/7/04: A customer support rep called me back today. She explanied to me the problem with my order. I was quite surprised to hear from them and was satisfied with the explanation she gave me. She told me to give them 2 days to sort out the matter. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and wait 2 days. I will edit my review to reflect this.

Edit 4/13/04: Shentech reinstated my order, shipped out my card. I received it, like several other people that have bought this card mines came in a Xtasy box with a white AGP sticker over the PCI print. Box had clear circle tape on each end. Card was packed in molded plastic and came with CD and instructions. I was worried to hear that some people received used cards. I inspected mines to find that the GPU fan had dust on it and the card had been screwed in at one time. I popped it into my system and it fired up no problem. So after all this I was still somewhat satisfied with the results. Shentech took awhile to sort out all the orders and they did ship me the card at the original purchased price which by the way was a good deal. Though the card was used it did work."
