Shark Systems has excellent customer service! I have been emailing back and forth with Jake over an international shipping mishap, and he's been great!
I have found them to be extremely helpful and informative, and their prices are very good. I haven't really tried a new computer/parts vendor in many years, but I really wanted an item I couldn't get from any of my usual vendors. I gave Shark Systems a try, and am sure I'll be using them again.

Ordered an Acer 8940G from SharkSystems for delivery to the US, primarily due to the item being unavailable from US sources. I was very pleased with the responsiveness of SS sales both to my questions regarding tech specs on the item as well at my newbie questions regarding international purchasing. I listened to their advice regarding shipping and am now a happy & satisfied customer of both SharkSystems and Acer.
Just to give an idea of what to expect when ordering from SS for deliver to the US, here's the timeline:
I ordered an Acer 8940G on the 2/13 (a Saturday) shipped by Canada Post Xpress Post. Received an email notification that the item shipped on 2/17, along with a CP tracking number. Tracking number worked well until the item entered the US on the 2/19. Next tracking update from USPS was that the item was in my city for delivery on 3/1. The lack of tracking feedback between 2/19 and 3/1 was a bit disconcerting but USPS is not usually very good about updating tracking info in transit. The good news is that you can use the CP tracking # on the USPS tracking site. Also take into account that, according to CP, most of the delay between 2/19 and 3/1 was due to US customs.
The item was packed adequately and arrived in perfect condition. I'm going to try to work out a warranty plan which will let the unit be serviced in the US, but SS offers to act as a proxy for US customers in cases where such a warranty deal cannot be struck. That's a nice value added bonus and certainly provides peace of mind for US customers.
All-in-all, very good experience with SS. Their pricing was good, support was responsive and they seem to have a good understanding of how to deal with US customers. I'll definitely look their way again should I need to look outside the US for IT purchases in the future.

Outstanding customer service. shipping is very quick and the prices are extremely competitive. I have never had a problem with anything purchased from them. I highly recommend them.

We ordered two flatscreens from Shark Systems. This has been a HORRIBLE experience. BUYER BEWARE. The screens showed up broken, and this horrible Shark Systems wanted to pin it on UPS. UPS said no way. So SS finally gave us an RMA #, we shipped hte screens back at our expense. Then Shark Systems rejected the boxes! Who gives you an RMA # only to deny your boxes? We now have no screens, no refund. Watch out for this fishy company.

I would definitely shop from this company again. After submitting my order, I realized I'd made a type-o in the item number, and ordered the wrong item. I sent a quick message thru their website, requesting a switch for the proper item, which they did, promptly, hassle-free, and shipped the correct item.
I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service from Shark Systems.

As many people know the 5850 is a difficult card to get a hold of due to the lack of supply.
I placed an order for an Asus 5850 with Shark Systems when it looked like they had one in stock.
They were quick to contact me and inform me that unfortunately the item was no longer in stock.
They proceeded to treat me with the utmost respect and offered to change my order to a different manufacturer 5850 as soon as it came in stock. In fact when another 5850 came in stock they called me long distance to make sure I was ok with ordering the brand that had arrived.
Shipping was processed quickly. For some reason I was unable to access the my tracking number via their website so they quickly e-mailed it to me when I inquired.
Throughout this process I was in frequent e-mail communication with a variety of employees and all of them were very professional and provided what I consider to be an exceptional level of service.
I had not dealt with Shark Systems before, but I will happily do so again as service like this is very difficult to find. Highly recommended. This review was modified by its author, klassenn, on

I Googled for SBS 2003 Std. OEM. and found the best price at Shark Systems. When I received the item, I found that it was an upgrade version, not a full OEM version. When I phoned Shark Systems, they cheerfully issued an RMA and said they will refund my purchase. I sent the item back 2 days ago, and await my refund optimistically.

Speedy deilvery where I received my shipment on the 4th business day with product in working condition.
Only hitch was an incorrect tracking number provided by the order confirmation. In my case, I didn't bother contacting customer service although the issue probably could've been fixed with an e-mail.

This online retailer is very prompt. I received the confirmation email very soon, even though at last I didn't finish the payment (forgeting updating the credit card information on Paypal). I've experienced the other online store's bad service, so I kind of like sharksys.com's style. Thumbs-up

Their price was competitive. The speed of delivery was excellent: under 24 hours from order to delivery. They performed exactly as they promised. I would not hesitate to do business with them in the future.
