"This site is a joke, customer service is terrible and you have to pay a re-stocking fee even if they have not processed the order yet. Beware the ship times are not even close to what they say they are and it can take up to 8 business days to ship your order even if you pay for overnight or expedited shipping. My company will never buy from this website again!!!!"

A real call center rep called me to tell me my frames were not in stock and would take an extra day or two to arrive. They were delivered as stated. "Truth be told, I am was very surprised at the experience I had with shadesemporium site and my order process. The glasses I ordered were back ordered and were going to take longer than expected to receive. I was emailed right away and informed that I can call and work something out. The level of customer service I received far surpassed that of the mall stores I have dealt with. The issue was resolved and everything worked out perfectly. In fact if the sunglasses I received weren't such good quality I would have ordered new glasses by now. 100% satisfaction and still in my bookmarks for when I need to order new sunglasses. Thank you for everything. hope all goes well..."
"Beware of Shades Emporium policies ... $35 restocking fee for any item returned or not canceled within 4 hours of placing the order. Restocking fee applies even if your order has not shipped yet. No status updates ... customer service is a joke. "

"I ordered replacement lenses on 9/28. Ship time was 3-5 business days. I spent all last week checking the mail waiting for my lenses to arrive. on 10/8 I received an e-mail notification that my lenses had just been SHIPPED. Nobody contacted me last week at all to tell me that the ship time would be longer than the estimated ship time of 4 business days. I called to ask for a refund and to cancel the shipment and they told me that the cancellation would cost $35 and said it was company policy. When I asked to speak to a supervisor the lady that barely spoke english told me she was the supervisor. I informed her that we all report to somebody and I would like to speak to her manager. She would not let me go above her to talk to anybody and claimed that they followed their policy and I'd have to pay the cancellation fee. I hung up very frustrated and upset. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. AWFUL SERVICE and WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE."
"This was my first dealing with Shades Emporium and certainly won't be my last. Their choice of shades is great and so are their prices. I was very pleasantly surprised when my brand new Ray Bans arrived in less than a week to Switzerland. Glasses arrived fully packed and exactly as I had hoped them to be. Thank you Shades Emporium!"
"I ordered sunglasses from Shades Emporium.They responded to my order by telling me that the item was on special order (already) and that it would not be available for 3 - 4 weeks, and did I want to wait. I said yes, but shortly thereafter I called them and cancelled the order. They told me then (for the first time) that they had to charge me $35 cancellation fee. If they had told me there would be such a fee when they asked me if I wanted to wait, I would have declined to wait.This was sneaky and underhanded.I wish there was a way I could spread this information."
