"i am very disappointed with their shipping, behaviour and product.it is making some weird sounds from lenses.please don't buy it from him.it's not worth of buying anything from this."
"Terrible company. Their site claims the camera I ordered is "in stock" but then they called and said it's back ordered for 4 weeks. At that point they tried to sell me the older model saying the one I wanted was a "waste of money" anyhow. And that if I had gotten the one I wanted it would cost me $20 a month for the GPS feature (an out and out lie). Don't buy from them. "
"Prices were competitive, and service was prompt."
"Great service!!!! Great Prices!!! I will be back to shop again"
" Maybe Package arrived in just 2 business days - everything I had expected, and needed it to be. "
"Cheap prices if you don't mind dealing with the jerk who tries to upsell you useless crap. The customer support person is rude when you don't allow them to add more money to your order. Other than that, the pricing is good and shipment was farily quick. I haven't registered the product with the manufacturer yet so I might run into a problem there. They can obviously still make money selling at the prices they advertise, so why do they have to waste your time with their bullcrap and risk having bad reviews?"
"Awful... Daxmart (aka Seaviewcamera) is really just a unscrupulous con-artist named 'Allen'. Buy anywhere else but this place. Misrepresentation, bait-and-switch, and plain lying... all this and more can be found at Daxmart. You can't say you weren't warned!"
"the camera is brand new and the shipment is faster than I expect."
"HORRIBLE sham company. Stay away. Will NOT provide UPS tracking number or updated invoice. Purchase products from a proven retailer like Amazon even if it is more money. Allan (who I believe is their only employee) has a calm misdemeanor, which is the only positive thing I can say. Allan called me shortly after I purchased a Canon lens (NOTE – THEY ARE NOT AN AUTHORIZED CANON DEALER) to (successfully) convince me to purchase filters. After convincing me to do so, he never sent an updated invoice; however, my credit card was almost immediately charged the new amount. I have requested to receive a new invoice on at least 4 separate occasions, and they will not send one. Instead, they are letting me know it will be with the package. I don’t understand how they can be so quick to charge my credit card but cannot seem to send me a new invoice. Additionally, they notified me that the package was shipped on Monday or Tuesday (even though on the website the order still shows Preparation in Progress); however, they have not actually given me a UPS tracking number. They do insist that the package will arrive by Friday. I have requested that the tracking number be sent to me several times, and they have been unable to satisfy the request. I will be shocked if the package comes Friday, and I do not trust that the products will be not be stolen goods/damaged/used, etc. I have asked that they cancel my order. The first time I asked they said that they could not cancel the order because it is shipped. Since it has been shipped, I asked that they provide the tracking number. Allan (who informed me he was not from Customer Service – even though I selected option 2 on the phone) later said that if I did not receive the tracking number by last night that he would cancel the order. Still no tracking number and still no cancelled order, despite my email. Do not waste your breath and time on Allan/DaxMart.com/seaviewcamera.com/whatever they change their name to. I will be handling this through my credit card company and submitting a complaint to the BBB."
"Daxmart Customer Service is really what they promise and the prices can't be beat! "
"Very good. Delivery was on time. The price was good as was the service." "
"Ok, here is my review, and I am writing it to help people buying, in particular, from outside USA (like Canada). First, the store offers a great communication by phone (not e-mails), so you can discuss with them their offers and options. Second, it is very secure to buy from their website. Now, I have some issues that I want to address: first, although you might choose free shipping for Canada, they charge you (for my case that was almost 50$). What I did not like is that I ordered an extra battery, and rather than putting it in the same box, they sent separately, so I had to pay additional (11$) as taxes (using UPS always charge you brokering and taxes, again in Canada). The second issue is that I received the camera in a retail box, not the original one, so I do not know if this is a display model one or not (I cannot tell). Also, the plastic cables' and camera's bags show a lot of signs of use. The cables look new, however. Finally, and this what I find most important, is that they ship using UPS, which means that you will have to pay the broker's fees and the taxes (using other companies might help reducing the cost). Other than that, everything is fine. I registered the camera on Nikon's website, it works great, and it comes with all the accessories. In brief, if you are buying from Canada, the only thing that you might save is the amount of taxes that you pay here, but you loose an additional one year warranty, so it is up to you to decide. For me, I do not care for additional one year warranty because I of the reputation of Nikon, and I take care of all my electronic products."
"My advice: DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. They had no problem charging me in a timely manner but I have yet to receive what I ordered (20+ days later) and they are extraordinarily rude in customer "service"! They've promised call-backs which have never come and they claim "it's the law" that they must go through UPS before making any kind of correction to the order or re-shipping (if they ever sent it in the first place)."
"I called to check the status of my order on a Nikom Coolpix 9100 and the customer service rep was more than helpful! I was informed of a special offer to upgrade the camera and was very pleased with the service I received! Anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new treasure!!!"
"I ordered my camera from Daxmart because the price was unbeatable. However, that is where the joy stops. My camera was ordered on Sunday. I expected it to take until Monday to have any kind of information regarding my order. I was called by Alan, who I assume is the sole guy working with this company. He called me to confirm my address, and to sell me an extra battery since the battery in my camera would "only last 20 minutes." What a scam. Ill take my chances with a 20 minute battery... Besides, should I need an extra battery, I can find one for less then $99, the price he was trying to sell one to me for. After reading reviews on Daxmart, I became nervous I would never recieve my product, so I called Alan and wanted a more detailed explanation of the shipping. He claims it takes 72 hours to process an order, and than an extra 7-10 days to receive the item. No one wants to wait 2 full weeks to receive a package anymore! He was very rude, hus customer service is horrible. He didn't seem to care whether my package would find my door or not. Today, (Friday) 5 days after my initial order, I went to the website to see if the package was shipped, and it said something like "preparation in progress." Whatever that means. I called Alan again to ask if my package was shipped. He told me he would track the package and said it was shipped on Wednesday, and I would receive it by the following Tuesday. This is the only silver lining, I will receive it sooner than expected. However, when I asked for the tracking number myself so I can follow the package, he said "I already told you it will come tuesday, it will say the same if you track it." That is as far away from good customer service as I can imagine. I don't care what it says, If a customer asks for a tracking number, they should be entitled to it. Especially if the customer has spent $200 on an item, and its unknown where it really it. Hopefully I receive my camera by Tuesday....I will not order from Daxmart again. Alan's customer service is crap. I can't imagine this guy is still in business with the way he treats his customers. Furthermore, if he can't control the amount of traffic he receives with his company, he needs help. Being an asshole to his customers will eventually bite him in the ass. I'd rather spend a little more money, and have piece of mind that the transaction will go smoothly, than to save and be scared for a week."
