"Ok, here is my review, and I am writing it to help people buying, in particular, from outside USA (like Canada). First, the store offers a great communication by phone (not e-mails), so you can discuss with them their offers and options. Second, it is very secure to buy from their website. Now, I have some issues that I want to address: first, although you might choose free shipping for Canada, they charge you (for my case that was almost 50$). What I did not like is that I ordered an extra battery, and rather than putting it in the same box, they sent separately, so I had to pay additional (11$) as taxes (using UPS always charge you brokering and taxes, again in Canada). The second issue is that I received the camera in a retail box, not the original one, so I do not know if this is a display model one or not (I cannot tell). Also, the plastic cables' and camera's bags show a lot of signs of use. The cables look new, however. Finally, and this what I find most important, is that they ship using UPS, which means that you will have to pay the broker's fees and the taxes (using other companies might help reducing the cost). Other than that, everything is fine. I registered the camera on Nikon's website, it works great, and it comes with all the accessories. In brief, if you are buying from Canada, the only thing that you might save is the amount of taxes that you pay here, but you loose an additional one year warranty, so it is up to you to decide. For me, I do not care for additional one year warranty because I of the reputation of Nikon, and I take care of all my electronic products.

"My advice: DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. They had no problem charging me in a timely manner but I have yet to receive what I ordered (20+ days later) and they are extraordinarily rude in customer "service"! They've promised call-backs which have never come and they claim "it's the law" that they must go through UPS before making any kind of correction to the order or re-shipping (if they ever sent it in the first place)."

"I called to check the status of my order on a Nikom Coolpix 9100 and the customer service rep was more than helpful! I was informed of a special offer to upgrade the camera and was very pleased with the service I received! Anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new treasure!!!"

"The item ordered was not available at the time of order, but another color was substituted. There new BUNDLE offering was provided at a higher cost without much consideration of not getting the item originally ordered. Maybe I will get it on time, we'll see!"

"I ordered my camera from Daxmart because the price was unbeatable. However, that is where the joy stops. My camera was ordered on Sunday. I expected it to take until Monday to have any kind of information regarding my order. I was called by Alan, who I assume is the sole guy working with this company. He called me to confirm my address, and to sell me an extra battery since the battery in my camera would "only last 20 minutes." What a scam. Ill take my chances with a 20 minute battery... Besides, should I need an extra battery, I can find one for less then $99, the price he was trying to sell one to me for.

After reading reviews on Daxmart, I became nervous I would never recieve my product, so I called Alan and wanted a more detailed explanation of the shipping. He claims it takes 72 hours to process an order, and than an extra 7-10 days to receive the item. No one wants to wait 2 full weeks to receive a package anymore! He was very rude, hus customer service is horrible. He didn't seem to care whether my package would find my door or not.

Today, (Friday) 5 days after my initial order, I went to the website to see if the package was shipped, and it said something like "preparation in progress." Whatever that means. I called Alan again to ask if my package was shipped. He told me he would track the package and said it was shipped on Wednesday, and I would receive it by the following Tuesday. This is the only silver lining, I will receive it sooner than expected. However, when I asked for the tracking number myself so I can follow the package, he said "I already told you it will come tuesday, it will say the same if you track it." That is as far away from good customer service as I can imagine. I don't care what it says, If a customer asks for a tracking number, they should be entitled to it. Especially if the customer has spent $200 on an item, and its unknown where it really it.
Hopefully I receive my camera by Tuesday....

I will not order from Daxmart again. Alan's customer service is crap. I can't imagine this guy is still in business with the way he treats his customers. Furthermore, if he can't control the amount of traffic he receives with his company, he needs help. Being an asshole to his customers will eventually bite him in the ass. I'd rather spend a little more money, and have piece of mind that the transaction will go smoothly, than to save and be scared for a week."

"I found Daxmart.com by google. I'd never heard of them before so I googled reviews. I found 1 that was unfavorable because they didn't receive a response back when they contacted the company. The company responded saying they had growing pains or something and apologized. I wanted to test their responsiveness so I e-mailed 2 questions. I received a complete response for both within 48 hours. I placed my order. Their order confirmation and shipping notification are a little antiquated but I received them and I'm happy. I cannot rate their shipping yet as I have not received the order because it's only been a couple of days, also I cannot rate the return policy for obvious reasons."

"Saw an offer for "3-5 day shipping" for an extra $30, so I selected it. It turns out, that's only for the actual shipping. It first took them a full week to get the order out the door. When I requested a refund of the $30, since I wasn't going to receive it in 3-5 days, I was told I could either accept the order with the extra $30 and get it in 7 business days, or I could buy it somewhere else. I chose to buy it elsewhere, and will not be shopping there again. And this was after they called to try to up-sell me on a battery, claiming that the OEM batteries on cameras are terrible."

"I had a rough start with this company at first with getting a tracking number for the shipment, but after a few calls they ultimately got the product to me in the window of time that I wanted. There was also a mistake in the order when I received it. They sent me the wrong memory card. I was able to speak with a manager who quickly rectified the mistake. They sent the correct memory card plus a card reader to go with it at no extra charge for my troubles. They do have good prices on a lot of their items and decent customer service. If they do make a mistake it has been my experience that they will make an effort to correct it if you call them. I would like to thank Ray and Jack for taking care of my order with professionalism and concern. I will definitely buy from them again. "
