"Look for another source first before trying SCIENCELAB.COM I placed an order with them 4mo ago. Unlike many to write reviews here, I actually received one item in a reasonably timely fashion (~2wks). After waiting an additional month and a half, I still hadn't received any further information or items, so I called. They said that the remaining items were on back-order, a new shipment was expected in a few days, and they offered to call me to let me know when it came in. They didn't call. I waited a couple of weeks and called again. They apologized, same story, same routine... They AGAIN didn't call. I waited about a month and called again. By this point, I just wanted to cancel the remainder of my order. They verified that they hadn't packed/shipped my order, but they did have the items in stock. I spoke to "Chase" and told him that four months later and after repeated failures to do what they said they'd do, I just wanted to cancel my order and to receive a refund. He said that he'd have to check and see if they could do that, I called back later that day to check, and he told me that they would be cancelling the remainder of my order and refunding to my credit card. Another week later, no refund appeared and one additional item from my order showed up on my doorstep. To put it mildly, I was angry. I received an email from "Chase" (after I posted to this site) informing me that he'd become aware of the screw up, my credit card had been credited (which I'm pleased to report is correct), and I should return the remainder of the shipment on their dime. This company is apparently trying to clean up its act, but my experience was very frustrating. Look for another source first before trying SCIENCELAB.COM"

"I am SO glad I came across these reviews... - I placed an order on Friday evening. For some reason "something" told me to look them up and see if there were reviews on them... GLAD I DID.
After looking at all the reviews (particularly about not having items in stock, etc) I called them up first thing this Monday morning to ask if they had the requested chemicals in stock. She (Danielle) said she would check and call me back. After a few hours, I didn't want to chance it and called again. She said they didn't have either and it would take two weeks (that "two weeks" seems to be their theme). So, I nicely said I would have to cancel the order. She did seem a litle bothered, but did promptly say that today would be the best day to do it and she would hand this over to accounting immediately. I will have to keep an eye on my credit card and see how it goes.
"I've ordered from this company several times. Usually I order 1.4-Butanediol and get it in a fairly timely fashion. Years ago I ordered a small amount of Amantadine it was on backorder(this was the 1st time I ordered something other than the BDO)it was sent to the wrong address and then promptly resent it to me and I got it in 2 weeks. After that, everytime I'd order something other than BDO whatever it was it would be "backordered" and no matter how much time elapsed(upto 2 months) I'd of course never receive the order. I've never had a problem getting through to anyone but I've never received any of the promised follow-ups and eventually I've always been able to get a refund after cancelling an order. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones, maybe they're waiting for me to place another order for the one thing they actually can sell(BDO)and that's why I have relatively no problems getting my $back lol. I've tried asking what items they DO have in stock because they have a pretty big "selection" but 99.99...% is on backorder, but they claim they don't have that info available... gimme a break. I just don't understand... wouldn't it be more profitable to do real business, how do they afford their 1-800 number and all their employees if they have to dispute charges and constantly making refunds and whatnot but I guess they don't actually refund most people's money from what I've seen. I wish I knew what their operation was, I don't see how they can consistently burn people after all this time and still be turning any kind of decent profit."
"Sciencelab.com is the worst online company I ever dealt with. They charged my credit card immediately, but they were extremely slow to respond. I would say they ignored my emails and phone calls. They substituted what I ordered with something worth less than 1/3 the value, without my agreement, and insisted that I have to accept it. I believe what they are doing is unethical and even criminal, so I filed a claim with BBB. BBB rates Sciencelab.com an F. I regret I did not check the BBB-online rating before dealing with this terrible company. NEVER USE SCIENCELAB.COM! "

"Never received most of shipment. Was told items on backorder, after order placed and account billed. Requested refund several times (~$100). Customer service stopped responding to emails. Better Business Bureau has multiple complaints against this company. Would highly recommend not using this supplier."

"Wow, we ar not alone! Sciencelab.com got the worst possible BBB rating as well as sellerRatings! That's why when I threatening them with complaints, they don't care! Becasue their rating cannot be any worse then this!!! Be aware of them! Stay away! I've never deal with a company this bad! Back ordered for 7 months and refuse refund money only offer useless in store credit and they might never stock the item we needed again! The VP in charge of this (wife fo the president) would not even reply to your complains! I was contacting them EVERY day!!! Get you money back as soon as you can as some other guys mentioned!!
