posted Jan-13-2012![Share HV__ review](javascript:share_rating("{"review_body":"I placed an order believing the items I wanted were in stock. two days later I received an email stating that the items were on backorder and would be expected to ship in 2 to 3 weeks. I called them 5 weeks after the original order date to cancel the order and was told that the items would be received by them in the next week or two and that I wasn\u0027t permitted to cancel my order. It was apparently my fault for not cancelling the order within the first three days after placing it. The items I ordered we not so expensive that it was worth my time or energy to argue about it. If I still have not received my items within the next month or so I will have to revisit the issue and likely will need to contact my credit card company to file a complaint as it is obvious I will not receive an acceptable resolution from ScienceLab directly.<br><br>I should have spent a little more time researching them as a company and ordered my items from someplace else. I was willing to spend about 25% more money on the items I wanted in an effort to support a small american owned business. If I had received my items as expected, even within the time frame of the declared backorder, I wouldn\u0027t have any complaints. posted Sep-07-2011“Your order number 82376 was refunded in full inspite of non-compliance with the terms and agreements you agreed too. You have made false claims against our company and against our companies employees and owners. ScienceLab.com, it's employees and it's owners work diligently to make every customer happy...we are in an industry where very much is out of our control. We work closely with state and federal agencies an many many levels. Most of our competetors refuse to sell to the general public because of the ignorance that exsists in not understanding the manufacturing process of labware and chemicals. We at ScienceLab.com feel the general public can be educated and it is the right and freedom of every American to be able to access products...we work closely with many different agencies to make sure that we are only selling products to appropriate people(s). Your comments and behavior make us question that all public can be educated. Your ignorance is dangerous. And you have been red-flagged with state agencies, federal agencies, and other companies that we have alliances with. Your money was refunded. As far as your claims of our VP's donations...they are absolutely false. Our VP is very generous with her time and her energy as she is a mom who lives by her Christian values and donates endless amounts of energy to many organizations. And as much as she would love to be able to donate endless amounts of money to the organizations that represent her heart she has never had that type of income...your claims are false...she has not now nor ever donated large amounts of money to any campaigns or organizations ... aside from the fact that it is all none of your business how she handles her personal affairs!”

For some reason \u0022something\u0022 told me to look them up and see if there were reviews on them... GLAD I DID. <br><br>After looking at all the reviews (particularly about not having items in stock, etc) I called them up first thing this Monday morning to ask if they had the requested chemicals in stock. She (Danielle) said she would check and call me back. After a few hours, I didn\u0027t want to chance it and called again. She said they didn\u0027t have either and it would take two weeks (that \u0022two weeks\u0022 seems to be their theme). So, I nicely said I would have to cancel the order. She did seem a litle bothered, but did promptly say that today would be the best day to do it and she would hand this over to accounting immediately. Called the next day to follow up; my order had not been cancelled, Danielle is not around, and no one but Danielle can help. When I was persistent (but polite), the rude receptionist hung up on me.<br><br>It\u0027s clear that these people simply wait for orders from unsuspecting customers THEN procure the items and send them. They deliberately obscure they fact that they have no stock on hand. And it\u0027s obvious that this is a rinky dink operation trying to take advantage of people who don\u0027t know they\u0027re going to be charged immediately and made to wait for weeks for their items to arrive, if they ever do.<br><br>If you\u0027re unfortunate enough to have an open order with these shady people, you should dispute your credit card charge NOW. Don\u0027t let enough time go by that you miss the chance to dispute. "I ordered from this company twice: First time we ordered amber glass bttles, never received product , asked for credit but nevere received. Second time we ordered refrigerant , received a back order notice and after months of expediting requested a refund. was promised but 3 months later never received the credit. I would not reccomend doing business with this compny. Very disappointed."
