Ordered a pioneer 5030FD on 10-22-2007. It was at my door on 10-29-2007 only because the typist ordered a 6030FD by mistake, but it was caught in time. I placed my order with Doug and every time I called his partner Dave was well aware of of my order.There was no excessive time on hold or trying to get a hold of the right person. You can feel at ease ordering a big ticket item from Satellite and sound. The price was the best I\u0027d found anywhere and Dave was very efficient in placing the order, sending the confirmation and shipping invoice, and answering email questions. The item arrived in three days and looks great. We wanted a Pioneer plasma and decided to limit our search to just authorized Pioneer resellers since we felt that having a valid manufactuer\u0027s warranty was important. Satellite & Sound\u0027s price was very competitive - Doug, the sales person, was professional and informative (we did purchase an extended warranty - 4 add\u0027l years for $295 - which I thought was a relatively small price to pay to protect a $4,500 investment). The TV arrived locally maybe 3 or 4 days after placing the order, and was delivered to our home the following day. This was an enjoyable, pain-free, hassle-free process and we saved $1,500 - $2,000 versus buying at a brick and mortar retailer. Dave and doug were a pleasure to work with through the order process and made me aware of some quantity limitations and gave a target date for expected availability. They promtly contacted me when a set was availiable and it was received from a drop shipper on the east coast. Unfortunately, the set was received with a fractured power board in the media receiver. Doug and Dave made every effort to expedite repair and would have even sent a replacement media receiver had one been available. Unfortunately the same limitations to quantites by the manufacturer made this impossible. This was obviously a stressful purchase but Sattelite and Sound made every effort to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. I know there are many vendors out there that are quick to take your money then vanish like vapor after the sale. That simply was not the case with sattelite and sound. EVERY effort was taken to repair the problem and have me with a wonderful set as quickly as possible. Hats off to Sattelite and Sound. "I ordered a Pioneer PDP-5020fd recently from this merchant. Like many of you I was very hesitant about purchasing a plasma hdtv online. I did a lot of checking before settling on Satellite and Sound. I narrowed my choice of merchants to two authorized Pioneer dealers based mainly on Resellerratings.com's reviews and my phone conversations with the two companies. I spoke with Dave at Satellite and Sound twice before ordering. He was very helpful in alleviating my anxiety about making such an expensive purchase online without just saying what he thought I wanted to hear. There was none of the east coast electronics sales pressure applied that I've received speaking to many of their competitors. The set arrived from California to Ohio in less than a week. The exterior of the box was in excellent condition and it was strapped to a pallet the same size as the bottom of the box. Upon opening, the condition of the television was excellent and it works perfectly up to the writing of this review. I would recommend Satellite and Sound without hesitation as an online merchant and will purchase from them again in the near future. "
