"Sammy dress is the best website for purchasing online clothes. It may sometimes take long for product to arrive but that is ridiculous compared to the excellent service they propose. There is such a wide choice and the quality-price is blameless!! I greatly advise this website and for the arrival time issue you can pay for fast shipping anyway. So really recommendable."

"Very very disappointed!!! Took over 1 month to receive my things - which I can live with. But the combination of delay shipment, poorly made items (cheap material, beads falling off and costume like) and expensive shipping fee (50% of your total cost) i was charged $54.11 shipping fee on a $107 purchase. I will NEVER visit this site again. Not worth the time!!!!

"I ordered from SammyDress nearly two weeks ago now and my order is still processing, I've tried contacting them but nothing has come back to me and I don't even know if they actually received it because I got confused with the whole ticket thing. After reading these reviews, I'm starting to wonder if it is a case of stock availability in which case why don't they just contact you straight away? I'm hoping it is not a scam and the matter can be resolved soon. But at the moment I'm doubtful I will return to shop on their site if this is going to be the case again.

"I had a great experience with Sammy Dress. To all the people complaining about processing time or quality of clothing, you need to realize that you're ultimately getting what you pay for. Personally, all the clothes I received were perfect quality and fit just right - you can't just look at a picture and click to order it without looking at the measurements and the MATERIAL of the clothing.

As for processing time, they're essentially a wholesale warehouse, not some boutique store - they probably have a gazillion orders to go through every day. Not saying that's an excuse for slow processing time, but it's understandable.

I made an order of $110 and yes, my "processing time" was actually about 10 days or so (it's supposed to be no more than 7 days). All I did was send in a ticket calmly asking what was going on and I got a response the next day. 2 items I wanted were out of stock, even though they were listed as "in stock." That's lame, yes, but at least they refunded my PayPal account right away. The problem was resolved, my package was shipped out, and I got the order a day or 2 before the estimated delivery time.

If you're going to order from this site, you need to use your common sense.
1) Your order will most likely take a while to show up. It's coming from halfway around the world, what do you expect?! If you need something within 2 weeks and your order didn't show up by then, how is that the company's fault? Once they ship out the order, it's not in their hands anymore - it's in the Post Office's. If you have a problem with how long your order is taking to show, take it up with the Post Office.
More importantly, if you needed something within 2 weeks, you probably should've placed the order earlier, considering it's coming from across the planet. Literally anything could go wrong. If you don't get it on time, that's not the company's fault - if you're strapped for time, then shop somewhere in your own country. See? COMMON SENSE.
2) If you're paying $2 for a shirt, expect it to be a $2 quality shirt. You can't whine about how the shirt ripped after 2 wears, because it was only 2 DOLLARS!
3) Read the policies and bio on the website before you order. This will give you an idea what to expect and what the company is about.
4) Regardless of what sizing is given for an item, look at the measurements and then MEASURE YOURSELF to see if it will fit. These are Asian clothes, so they're smaller than Western clothes. How something looks on one of the Asian models on the site may not be how it will look on you. They're models, they're supposed to make the clothes look desirable!

I do 99% of my shopping at online Asian wholesale sites. I always see the same complaints made about all of them, not just Sammy Dress, with people jumping to the conclusion that the company must be a scam. Um, what about all the thousands of people who haven't had a problem? You need to know what you're getting into before you dive right into it. If you're not sure or don't trust a site 100%, then don't make a very large order right away - order 1 or 2 reasonably-priced items and see how the process is and how helpful the customer service is. USE YOUR HEAD.

All it takes is some common sense and some patience. Ultimately you're getting a big bang for your buck, so it's up to you to decide whether or not the pros outweigh the cons.

At Sammy Dress, the customer service was fine, the clothes I ordered were fantastic, and the quality of the material was great (because I read what material they all were and stayed away from easily tear-able ones). Do not order anything from here if you need it soon - give yourself ample time. Track the package once you get a tracking number to see where it's at and how much longer it will take for you to receive it.

Before you even place your order, email the customer service with a list of the items you want and ask them to confirm if they're in stock, REGARDLESS of how it's listed on the site. This way, you'll know for sure before you even pay whether or not something is available. Personally, I do this for all websites I order things from, Asian or Western.

The main con I have about the site is actually the pricing, for both the clothing and the shipping. Like I said, I shop at a lot of online Asian stores and Sammy Dress is one of the more expensive ones. Sometimes the shipping costs more than the order. I understand they need to make their money somehow, but still.

Basically, stop treating these wholesale sites like they're Forever 21 or something - they're NOT. They are located continents away and they're wholesalers in a country that has a BILLION people. Place your orders way ahead of time. Be patient and use some common sense, and you'll most likely walk away super satisfied, like me. Sammy Dress may take too long to process orders or update their stock listings or have expensive shipping prices or whatever, but it is definitely NOT a scam."

"I must say that I love sammydress.com I have ordered three times already and everything that I have received has been amazing not only because everything is so unique and beautiful but also because they have very low prices. I have received a lot of complements from friends for the clothes and jewelry. I totally recommend this website, when I had questions about my orders they respond really fast, they are very liable. I just love this website. I am now waiting for my 4th order of jewelry (which by the way free shipping for jewelry) and I am very excited to receive it."

" I've placed a couple of orders and find that the quality of the items are price appropriate. I was well aware that it was possible for an order not to be received for 30days being it was shipping from China. I have placed another order using expedited shipping and got it within a wk. My only complaint would be to have a better system on advising customers immediately of an item not being in stock. I mean, I search the site for items I really like to find out later its not available. I have no complaints on responses to tickets I submit because all questions have been answered within 24hrs. My experiences have been ok and I plan on placing more orders in the near future."

"I am appalled by this company, will never order from them again and will be sure to tell everyone I know to steer well clear. I placed an order on 7th May and received my goods within 3 weeks. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes and one of the pairs received was not the right ones so I emailed Sammydress straight away to advise of the error. After a week of emails in which I was asked to send photos of the shoes, of the box and SKU number on the box I was offered a $10 refund. The shoes and combined postage for the second pair of shoes cost almost $40!! I again stressed that I wanted the shoes and if they could send me the correct pair I would be happy. The shoes still show in stock on their website but I was told that they only had the ones I received in stock and that was that. Their service is appalling and quite frankly I'm disgusted. What ever happened to good old customer service?

Having received the reply below I checked my email and discovered that the representative at Sammy Dresses is now negotiating with the amount of refund they want to offer. I have accepted because I want this whole silly mess to be over with but it falls short of the cost of shoes plus shipping costs for that pair. BUYERS BEWARE, the sheer amount of bad reviews below and on You Tube about this company is quite frankly SHOCKING!! There are plenty of great online retailers, I would suggest you shop with them and avoid this company like the plague.

One very dissatisfied customer :-("
