"I ordered about $100 worth of parts to overhaul my Blackberry Bold 9780, most importantly a new LCD screen because the original was just giving a bunch of lines or blank white.

It all showed up in about as long as you would expect for something to come across the Pacific Ocean on a ship. Installed the parts, except for the replacement speaker that sounded muted and barely audible. It was only $2.32 piece and the original worked fine (I was just replacing everything since I had the phone opened up already) so I didn't bother with reporting it and just tossed it out.

I installed a Bodyguardz screen protector on the LCD screen as soon as installation was over. When I turned it on, I noticed several gray specks across the middle 3rd of the screen but assumed that I'd just gotten some dirt beneath the protector as I had done a dozen times before. About the end of April I noticed the specks seemed to be increasing in number so I removed the protector and Lo and Behold, the specks were flaws beneath the top layer of glass in front of the LCD screen itself. They looked like dead or gray pixels when the phone was on and like scuff marks when the screen was off. An obvious manufacturing defect.

Unfortunately, I was about 1 week out of warranty and when I finally contacted SW-Box at the beginning of May, they told me they would be unable to replace it or credit me. I explained that it was an obvious manufacturing defect, sent photos of the problem and explained that I should hardly be penalized since the extra measure to protect the screen prevented me from identifying the problem in the first place, but they again told me that it was out of warranty and that there was nothing they could do. I even offered that I knew it was out of warranty and didn't expect a full refund and just asked for some credit towards a new one as a gesture of good faith. I felt justified since I paid about $15 (30%) more for the screen than I could have gotten from a typical Amazon vendor, figuring the extra $$$ should mean a certain level of security and customer service. They wouldn't offer a red cent towards a replacement.

After several e-mail exchanges with "Vivian" I have finally given up and will be doing business with other vendors in the future. I will feel far more secure with the Amazon vendors since Amazon has legendary customer service and can exact some influence where necessary. You can get the parts for less money and get the same or better service.

SW-Box is a sell it and forget it company and exactly the type of business that I try to avoid. You can "

"I bought a product but a week after being paid I was told that the product was at fault. they asked to choose another product, I chose one that appeared in the stock but again I was informed that he was missing. the site is a little bad."
