"Excellent service and follow up . item was out of stock, but they went the extra mile to find it elsewhere, and get it to me in time to complete my job. I will definitely use again and recommend them to anyone needing electronics/ video cabling and converters..."

"My experience with SJ Media was much better than I had expected. Not only was my purchase delivered in a timely manner, I also paid much less than what the competition was offering in their so-called sale price."

"Service and quality of product has always been excellent. I've been ordering from them for almost three years with no problems. Telephone staff has been very helpful when dealing with back orders.

I'll continue to purchase from them.

"I ordered a Pelican carry case from SJ Media. The case was not what I needed. When I emailed them, I received a fast response. They also did not wait for me to return the case. I was issued a credit before the RMA was even received. That's good customer service!

"I ordered a condenser microphone from SJ Media on the tenth of January. From the google shopping page right up to the transaction there was no mention of shipping charge (in fact google shopping page said it was free) but I was charged $10 shipping anyway. My item was supposed to ship out in 7-14 days according to the order information. It is now 15 business days later (30th of Jan.) and the order information is saying will ship out in 4-7 days!!!! I can't even call them to get information about my order and even the number I got from the BBB's page about them doesn't work. It rings a few times, makes horrible noises at you, then gives you the busy signal. My advice, steer way clear of these guys. I am putting in my report to the BBB to get my issue resolved!"

"I am having serious problems with this company. I ordered some 1/4 inch guitar cable with some plugs and I got the wrong cable, so sent it back and they're supposed to be refunding my money on that, but I haven't heard a thing from them for a while now. This transaction started in Nov. of last year. It's now Jan. 12th and I'm still trying to get my refund and some right angle plugs I ordered way back in Nov!!! I think I'm going to have to call Visa and dispute the charges to get my money back. At this point, I don't even care if they send the plugs. I just want my money back!!! This has to be one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I sure wish they had a phone number listed! All they have is their fax number and address on the contact/about page. GRRRRRR!!!! "

"We ordered an item from them and it was incorrect. We shipped the item back to them over 60 days ago and have called and emailed dozens of times with no reponse. Order was over $700 we are now trying to take it up with the CC Company, Good luck if you ever try to return something to this worthless company "

"BEWARE!!! They say they have product in stock but do not and they bill your credit card at the time of order not when they ship so they have your money. They make it impossible to contact them by phone and they only answer your e-mails if you repeatedly send them. They offered me a 5% discount on the order to keep it open, but finally after the order was not delivered or enven shipped after 2 weeks I told them to cancel and asked for a refund, and they did not refund my money. I notified them numerous times to cancel my order and they acknowlege that they sent the cancelation to the warehouse but confirmation would have to come from them. 5 weeks later they shipped the order I no longer needed.
Negatives:
1. They lied about the in-stock availability of the parts.
2. They promised to have them to me by a date that they had no way of guaranteeing.
3. They do not provide a customer service phone number on their web site.
4. They charged my credit card when the order was placed, not when it was shipped
5. The order phone number worked for customer service, but they couldn't give me any real-time info about the order.
6. The Order Status link which they sent in the confirmation email did not give any status information.
7. They did not refunded my money when I cancelled the order.

"This is the first time I have ordered from SJ Media systems. I was looking for Hellermann Tyton Laser Labels for wire marking an install project. I needed them quickly and as inexpensively as possible. I found the company through a web search for the product number I was looking for and SJ Media was the least expensive on the list. They delivered the correct product within two days of my order. Everything has been correct and smooth so far."

"I feel I should tell people about my experience with SJ Media Systems. I needed some items by May 13, so called on May 5 to make sure they had them in stock (they do not list a phone number on their web site -- you need to email them to get a number "for ordering only"). The representative assured me that they had the items in stock in sufficient quantities to fill my order and that it should be "no problem to get them to me by May 13." On May 11, I had not had any communication from them other than an email confirming my order (although they had charged my credit card) so I called them on their order number. The only help they could give was to give me an email address of their parent company, and said the email would be answered "in 24 to 48 hours". They did answer by the next morning, informing me that the items were on back order until May 28! I rush ordered similar items from another vendor and cancelled my order with SJ Media Systems. They offered me a 5% discount on the order to keep it open, but I refused and asked for a refund, and they did refund my money right away.
Negatives:
