This was my first experience with SJ Discount Tools and I am happy to say that I was very impressed. The price as extremely competitive, the service was excellent, and the shipping time was better than most. My second order, there was some confusion as to the status of the order. After contacting Mr. Selby, the matter has been successfully resolved and I will be happy to them in the future.

S&J are a good company to deal with. I had a little problem with the product but Megan has worked it all out and got a replacement being sent to me. I will definately be a returning customer for all my auto tool needs.

I have been a professional auto-tech for over twenty years. SJ Tools provides tools and equpment at a low price, with fast processing of the order. I usually receive my order a couple of days after it is placed. I would definitely recommend SJ Tools for any small or large tool purchase. Thank you Megan, Jeff and the rest of the staff.

SJ Discount Tools has good prices on in-stock products that ship quickly so that I received my order within a few days with standard shipping.  
 
There was a mix-up on 1 item ordered which an e-mail sent to their sales dept. got Megan to immediately clear-up and have the corrected item ship out that same day and I did not have to worry about returning the other item.  
 
SJ Discount Tools has an impressive staff who know how to take care of the customer to make sure they are happy.

Highly incompetent and useless customer service.  
They continued to tell me that my order was shipped when it was not!  
Finally I proved they never shipped my order even though they charged my credit card for it! I demanded a refund and they refused???? They even refused to acknowledge their stupidity when questioned by the credit card company for their side of the complaint. If you get your order you are lucky! If not, GOOD LUCK TRYING TO DEAL WITH THEM!!!!

Their customer service turned out to be very helpful. I ordered an air ratchet repair kit and was shipped a slightly different part number instead. This kit is for a different model but the correct part number was a different one all together. I initially could not find a phone number on their web site. They did respond to my e-mail and came up with the correct part number and promptly sent me the correct part. Their prices are better than most other on-line companies. The 1/2" air gun I bought last spring was cheaper than my Cornwell Tool guy charges for the same gun. I will purchase tools from their web site in the future. Well done Megan!

The only phone number option is to request by email and for new orders only. Customer service and cancellations are by email only. They advertise free shipping but their fine print is they will charge if not in stock regardless if it's drop shipped. I found the tools cheaper, in stock and with free shipping elsewhere and they have 24/7 customer service. Paypal would not cancel stating money was transfered instantly to Great Tools, Inc. I call they number Paypal gave me and it's disconected. I was able to trace them on BBB which lists their number. First of all I ordered a ratchet and a flashlight from them. Box was recieved 1 week later with a flashlight and no ratchet, also no packing slip or any other form of communication whatsoever of the status of the ratchet. All they say is item on backorder which they told me would ship 1st week of July. I have tried calling no one responds I send emails and it takes forever to respond with a generic email that they are checking the status. Today is August 26th and I assure you I will not order anything else from them. If this the way they conduct buissness save your money and go somewhere else. As of today sent email again and no response except for generic message, still no ratchet.  
 
Update as of 9-10-2009 still no ratchet we were contacted by them in regards to this post asking why we did this, sent yet anouther e-mail back and told them I just want to know where the item is.They have not replied since which was 2 weeks ago. I am beginning to believe this is a scam.
