The pad also had three creases, each more than two feet long, in areas away from the folds. After 5 days, two without the carpet on top of the pad and three with, the creased folds and long creases still are there. They did not "come out within minutes" as promised. And as the Rug Pad Corner (RPC) website text notes, lines can "compromise the quality" of the pad and "cause premature wear to your rug."<br><br>My experience with the salesman, moreover, was less than customer friendly. A 10 X14 quarter inch pad costs $155. To create this pad, RPC would cut 2 feet off of the side of the 12 foot roll from which they create all of their pads, and cut the length at 14 feet. A salesman from another firm told me that most firms, including his, would allow a little leeway and would give me the 10 X14 price for my 10' 4" X 13' 8" pad. The RPC salesman said that I would have to pay the 12 X15 price of $249. When I asked to talk to a supervisor, he said I could not. So it cost $94 extra to have RPC cut 1' 8" rather than 2' off the side of their roll.
